This study investigates the effects of Fe on the oxygen-evolution reaction(OER)in the presence of *** distinct areas of OER were identified:the first associated with Fe sites at low overpotential(~330 mV),and the second with Au sites at high overpotential(~870 mV).Various factors such as surface Fe concentration,electrochemical method,scan rate,potential range,concentration,method of adding K_(2)Fe O_(4),nature of Fe,and temperature were varied to observe diverse behaviors during OER for Fe O_(x)H_(y)/*** amounts of Fe ions had a significant impact on OER,reaching a saturation point where the activity did not increase *** electronic interaction between Fe and Au ions was indicated by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS)and electron paramagnetic resonance(EPR)*** situ visible spectroscopy confirmed the formation of Fe O_(4)^(2-)during *** situ mossbauer and surfaceenhanced Raman spectroscopy(SERS)analyses suggest the involvement of Fe-based species as intermediates during the rate-determining step of OER.A lattice OER mechanism based on Fe O_(x)H_(y)was proposed for operation at low *** functional theory(DFT)calculations revealed that Fe oxide,Fe-oxide clusters,and Fe doping on the Au foil exhibited different activities and stabilities during *** study provides insights into the interplay between Fe and Au in OER,advancing the understanding of OER mechanisms and offering implications for the design of efficient electrocatalytic systems.

Cu doped mg(OH)_(2) nanoparticles were synthesized with varying concentrations from 0 to 10%by a chemical synthesis technique of coprecipitation.X-rays diffraction (XRD) of the samples confirms that all the samples acquire the hexagonal crystal *** results indicated the solubility limit of dopant in the host material and the secondary phase of CuO was observed beyond 3%Cu doping in mg(OH)_(2).The reduction in the size of nanoparticles was observed from 166 to 103 nm for mg(OH)_(2) and 10% Cu doped mg(OH)_(2)samples,*** shift in absorption spectra exhibited the systematical enhancement in optical bandgap from 5.25 to 6.085 eV.A good correlation was observed between the bandgap energy and crystallite size of the nanocrystals which confirmed the size induced effect in the *** transformation in the sample morphology was observed from irregular spherical particles to sepals like shapes with increasing the Cu concentration in the host *** energy dispersive X-Ray (EDX) analysis confirmed the purity of mass percentage composition of the elements present in the samples.

The granitic rocks around the Utla area（Gadoon）, north western, Pakistan are studied in terms of their petrographic features and geochemical characteristics. Although predominantly mega-porphyritic, some of the Utla granites are massive and display fine-grained equi-granular texture. Some of the mega-porphyritic varieties exhibit foliation and seem to be restricted to shear zones. In addition to being distributed largely as phenocrysts, all the essential minerals（plagioclase, perthitic alkali feldspar and quartz） also constitute the groundmass. The studied samples also contain minor to accessory amounts of tourmaline, muscovite and biotite and accessory to trace amounts of apatite, andalusite, garnet, zircon, monazite, epidote and sphene. A detailed geochemical investigation reveals a calc-alkaline and peraluminous character of the Utla granites. The peraluminous character and total lack of hornblende designate their S-type character while a volcanic arc or syn-collisional tectonic setting for their emplacement is indicated by discrimination diagrams. Further examination shows that the melt parental to the Utla granite was derived from a plagioclase-poor, clay-rich rock, i.e., pelite. The petrogenetically significant petrographic and geochemical features of the Utla granite show greater similarity with the mansehra than the Ambela granites. These include（i） the predominantly megaporphyritic texture,（ii） the presence of andalusite and tourmaline,（iii） the calc-alkaline geochemical signature and（iv） an indication of similar melt source rock character.

Drought is one of the major abiotic threat to rice production in the context of climate *** Basmati is an elite,fine grain basmati rice variety grown in Punjab,*** to drought sensitive in nature,its yield has been facing an alarming situation in production because of gradual decrease in irrigated water for a couple of *** reported novel QTLs for drought tolerance were selected for incorporation into Super Basmati by employing marker assisted selection ***55419-04 with novel QTLs was used as a donor *** selection was performed by applying PCR based QTL linked SSR markers followed by recombinant selection by using 2-4 flanking *** selection was exercised by using polymorphic SSR markers for maximum genome recovery of the Super *** individuals homozygous at the target QTLs and with maximum background of Super Basmati at the rest of the non-target genome was selected for evaluation of drought *** drought stress conditions,the yields of all introgressed lines(ILs)were 44.2%-125.7%higher than recurrent *** superior ILs that are drought tolerant and very similar to Super Basmati in terms of agronomic and grain quality traits are marked for release as drought-tolerant varieties in arid regions or for use in breeding programs of high grain quality and drought-tolerant parents.

种植紫云英和稻草还田是提高水田土壤肥力的关键因素。有关紫云英或稻草与化肥不同施用量配施的效应已有大量研究。随着我国秸秆禁烧政策的实施,绿肥栽培与稻草还田联合应用越来越普遍。联合还田下的C/N比对微生物生长更有效,可提高土壤肥力,降低化肥施用量,促进水稻产量。然而,关于联合还田与化肥减施结合的研究相对较少。该研究通过三个田间试验（种植紫云英后化肥的减施量、种植紫云英结合稻草还田后化肥的减施量,以及紫云英和稻草联合还田对土壤和植物性状的影响）,测定紫云英和稻草结合不同化肥施用量对土壤肥力、水稻生长、养分积累和产量的影响。本研究旨在为紫云英和稻草还田条件下化肥的优化施用提供依据。主要结果如下:1.与对照处理（CK）相比,翻压紫云英结合施肥的处理提高了水稻产量。单独翻压紫云英处理（mF0）的水稻产量比CK增加16.9%,但比单施100%化肥处理（F100）降低7.7%。与F100处理相比,翻压紫云英并减少20%化肥处理（mF80）的水稻籽粒N、P、K积累量分别增加了36.4%、52.4%和27.9%。同时,mF80处理稻草N、P、K的积累量分别增加了14.6%、31.0%和9.3%,证明翻压紫云英并减少20%化肥可满足水稻的养分需求。2.紫云英和稻草联合还田并减少化肥施用量时,水稻不同生育阶段的土壤有机质、全氮和速效钾含量普遍高于F100处理,N、P、K的积累量也相应增加。与F100处理相比,联合还田并减少20%化肥处理（mSF80）使水稻籽粒N、P、K积累量分别增加了27.7%、80.2%和22.1%,稻草的N、P、K积累量分别增加了36.9%,12.1%和14.4%。3.全量施肥条件下,紫云英和稻草联合还田提高了水稻不同生育阶段的土壤有机质、全氮和全钾含量。与F100处理相比,联合还田处理mSF100使收获期的土壤有机质、全氮和速效钾含量分别增加了8.8%、6.3%和21.4%。与F100处理相比,mSF100处理的水稻籽粒和稻草产量显著提高了25.8%和18.1%。在大多数情况下,翻压紫云英及其与稻草联合还田的效果更为明显,从而提高了水稻N、P、K的含量以及积累量。总之,该研究结果表明,紫云英和稻草联合还田可以有效替代20%-40%的化肥,从而节省肥料并提高肥料利用效率。紫云英和稻草的协同利用可以在减施化肥的条件下稳定水稻产量,促进养分吸收,提高土壤肥力,是实现水稻生产绿色可持续发展的重要途径。

In this paper, the influence of an exponential volume fraction law on the vibration frequencies of thin functionally graded cylindrical shells is studied. material properties in the shell thickness direction are graded in accordance with the exponential law. Expressions for the strain-displacement and curvature-displacement relationships are taken from Love＇s thin shell theory. The Rayleigh-Ritz approach is used to derive the shell eigenfrequency equation. Axial modal dependence is assumed in the characteristic beam functions. Natural frequencies of the shells are observed to be dependent on the constituent volume fractions. The results are compared with those available in the literature for the validity of the present methodology.

The Reshian-Lamnian area within the Hazara-Kashmir syntaxis in Pakistan is composed mainly of the rocks of the Salkhala,Panjal and murree *** metal sulfide mineralization in the form of sphalerite and galena with lesser amounts of chalcopyrite and pyrite is present within the Salkhala Formation of the study *** all these ore phases are homogeneous in *** Pb isotopic composition of galena from the area suggests that there is very little or negligible variation in the ratios of 206Pb/204Pb,207Pb/204Pb and 208Pb/*** ages ranging from 509 to 562 ma and the μ values of 10.71 to 10.93 have been calculated for the studied Pb-Zn *** the basis of field features,mineralogy and Pb-isotope signatures,it is concluded that the Pb-Zn sulfide mineralization in the Reshian-Lamnia area is pre-Himalayan in age and can be correlated with the Cambro-Ordovician(Pan-African) orogenic event.

Effect of Cu/Zn Substitution in mgO Nanostructures for Tuning the Optical Bandgap and Structural Properties

Low cost co-precipitation method was used to synthesize Cu(0-0.05)doped mgO samples with fixed concertation of Zn=0.01.X-ray diffraction(XRD)spectra confirmed the phase purity of the samples for 0≤Cu≤0.03 doping *** secondary phase for 0.04≤Cu≤0.05 exhibited the formation of mixed metal *** crystallite size was found to increase from 17.5 to 23.5 nm for 0≤Cu≤0.03 and then decreased from 22 to 18.5 nm for 0.04≤Cu≤*** estimated bandgap first reduced from 5.48 to 4.88 eV and then increased from 5.21 to 5.36 *** morphology of the samples transformed from spheroidal shape to star-like *** obtained results reveal that the structural and optical property are in good agreement with the morphological *** peak shifting towards the lower values of vibrational frequency from 694 to 579 cm^(-1) confirms the incorporation of Cu/Zn in mg-O *** tuning of optical bandgap and structural properties with varying dopant concentration in mgO nanomaterials can be used for multifunctional modern energy storage and optoelectronic devices.

Classification of human actions under video surveillance is gaining a lot of attention from computer vision *** this paper,we have presented methodology to recognize human behavior in thin crowd which may be very helpful in *** have mostly focused the problem of human detection in thin crowd,overall behavior of the crowd and actions of individuals in video *** based Human behavior modeling is a complex task as it involves human detection,tracking,classifying normal and abnormal *** proposed methodology takes input video and applies Gaussian based segmentation technique followed by post processing through presenting hole filling algorithm i.e.,fill hole inside objects *** detection is performed by presenting human detection algorithm and then geometrical features from human skeleton are extracted using feature extraction *** classification task is achieved using binary and multi class support vector *** proposed technique is validated through accuracy,precision,recall and F-measure metrics.
