the purpose of the next internet of things(Io t)is that of making available myriad of services to people by high sensing intelligent devices capable of reasoning and real time *** convergence of Io t and multi-agent systems(mAS)provides the opportunity to benefit from the social attitude of agents in order to perform machine-to-machine(m2 m)cooperation among smart ***,the selection of reliable partners for cooperation represents a hard task in a mobile and federated context,especially because the trustworthiness of devices is largely *** issues discussed above can be synthesized by recalling the well known concept of social resilience in Io t systems,i.e.,the capability of an Io t network to resist to possible attacks by malicious agent that potentially could infect large areas of the network,spamming unreliable information and/or assuming unfair *** this sense,social resilience is devoted to face malicious activities of software agents in their social interactions,and do not deal with the correct working of the sensors and other information *** this setting,the use of a reputation model can be a practicable and effective solution to form local communities of agents on the basis of their social *** this paper,we propose a framework for agents operating in an Io t environment,called Res Io t,where the formation of communities for collaborative purposes is performed on the basis of agent *** order to validate our approach,we performed an experimental campaign by means of a simulated framework,which allowed us to verify that,by our approach,devices have not any economic convenience to performs misleading ***,further experimental results have shown that our approach is able to detect the nature of the active agents in the systems(i.e.,honest and malicious),with an accuracy of not less than 11%compared to the best competitor tested and highlighting a high resilience with respect to some

Objective:to examine the prognostic value of tumor major histocompatibility complex I(mHCI)expression on survival and recurrence in patients with clear cell renal cell carcinoma(RCC).methods:Fifty-three patients that underwent nephrectomy at our institution for clear cell RCC(t1et3)with4 years of follow-up were queried from our nephrectomy *** staining for mHCI was performed on tumor specimens and mHCI expression was quantified with an automated image analysis *** were divided into high and low mHCI expression groups in order to study the relationship between mHCI expression and prognosis using the Kaplanemeier method and log-rank ***:Overall survival and recurrence free survival were increased in the high mHCI expression group compared to the low mHCI expression group(log-rank,p=0.036 and p=0.028,respectively).Patients alive at the end of the study had higher mHCI expression(mean positivity score 0.82)than those that died of disease(mean positivity score 0.76,t test,p=0.030).Patients that did not develop recurrence during the study period had higher mHCI expression(mean positivity score 0.83)than those that did develop recurrence(mean positivity score 0.78),but this difference was not significant(t test,p =0.079).

Drought is a major environmental factor limiting cotton (Gossypium hirsutum L.) productivity worldwide and projected climate changes could increase their negative effects in the future. thus, targeting the molecular mechanisms correlated with drought tolerance without reducing productivity is a challenge for plant breeding. In this way, we evaluated the effects of water deficit progress on AtDREB2A-CA transgenic cotton plant responses, driven by the stress-inducible rd29 promoter. Besides shoot and root morphometric traits, gas exchange and osmotic adjustment analyses were also included. Here, we present how altered root traits shown by transgenic plants impacted on physiological acclimation responses when submitted to severe water stress. the integration of AtDREB2A-CA into the cotton genome increased total root volume, surface area and total root length, without negatively affecting shoot morphometric growth parameters and nor phenotypic evaluated traits. Additionally, when compared to wild-type plants, transgenic plants (17-t0 plants and its progeny) highlighted a gradual pattern of phenotypic plasticity tosome photosynthetic parameters such as photosynthetic rate and stomatal conductance with water deficit progress. transgene also promoted greater shoot development and root robustness (greater and deeper root mass) allowing roots to grow into deeper soil layers. the same morpho-physiological trend was observed in the subsequent generation (17.6-t2). Our results suggest that the altered root traits shown by transgenic plants are the major contributors to higher tolerance response, allowing the AtDRE2A-CA-cotton plants to maintain elevated stomatal conductance and assimilate rates and, consequently, reducing their metabolic costs involved in the antioxidant responses activation. these results also suggest that these morpho-physiological changes increased the number of reproductive structures retained per plant (26% higher) when compared with its non-transgenic cou

给出了聚乙烯缠带、FBE覆盖层和挤出聚乙烯覆盖层在空气、水、粘土、沙土环境中的剥离性能试验结果,提出了导致覆盖层损坏的原因,建立了覆盖层抗微生物降解性能的试验方法。采用埋在实际土壤后进行阴极剥离测试的方法对覆盖层性能进行了分级,对阴极剥离敏感性从大到小的顺序为FBE、挤出聚乙烯和聚乙烯缠带。阴极剥离试验证明:在埋入含有产酸(APB)和硫酸盐还原菌(SRB)的粘土后,覆盖层较易剥离。

the effects of welding speed on the macroscopic and microscopic residual stresses(RSes) in friction stir welded 17 vol.% SiCp/2009 Al-t4 composite plates were studied via neutron diffraction and an improved decoupled hierarchical multiscale modeling methods. measurements showed that the macroscopic and total RSes had the largest variations in the longitudinal direction(LD). Increasing the welding speed led to higher values of measured LD macroscopic and total RSes in the matrix. the welding speed also significantly influenced the distributions and magnitudes of the microscopic RSes. the RSes were predicted via an improved hierarchical multiscale model, which includes a constant coefficient of friction based thermal model. the RSes in the composite plates before friction stir welding(FSW) were computed and then set as the initial states of the FSW process during modeling. this improved decoupled multiscale model provided improved predictions of the temperature and RSes compared with our previous model.

Objectives: A recent entry into the silicone gel-filled breast implant market from motiva Implants (Establishment Labs Holdings Inc., NY, USA) contains a radio frequency identification device micro-transponder (RFID-m), known as the Q Inside Safety technology, as an added safety feature embedded in the shell of its breast implant. this RFID-m device allows for the rapid unique identification of the implant. Concern for imaging voids due to the presence of the RFID device during mRI screening scans have arisen given its metallic components. Our investigation aims to determine whether the Q Inside Safety technology RFID-m device in the motiva Implants Limits the visualization of breast tissue in conventional breast imaging modalities. methods: Seven patients with motiva Implants were referred to dedicated diagnostic breast imaging centers for evaluation of their prostheses and surrounding breast parenchyma between January and may 2018. Imaging indications included routine evaluation of implant integrity, evaluation of significant breast symptoms, oncologic follow-up, and breast cancer screenings. Results: Under mammography, the motiva Implants have a similar contour and mobility to other commonly used implants. the RFID-m is not visible and produces no artifact, allowing for proper visualization and screening of all visualized parenchymal tissues. Under ultrasound, the motiva Implants are well-visualized in all patients. the RFID-m was not visible in vivo. No related ultrasound artifact was apparent within the lumen or behind the implant as shown in Figure 2(a). Five patients received mRI. the breast parenchyma and axillae were well-visualized in all 5 patients. the RFID-m was found to produce a “butterfly-shaped” susceptibility artifact that projects into the lumen of the breast implant and causes image distortion in some of the surrounding soft tissues and chest wall posterior to the implant.
