this paper examines the transport analysis, including both heat transfer and mass transfer, in hybrid nanofluid flow containing gyrotactic microorganisms towards a curved oscillatory surface. the influence of magnetic fields is also inspected in terms of their physical characteristics. to depict the phenomena of transport, modified versions of both Fick's and Fourier's laws are used. Additionally, the characteristics of both heterogeneous and homogeneous chemical reactions are also incorporated. Utilizing a curvilinear coordinate system, the flow problem is formulated as partial differential equations(PDEs)for momentum, concentration, microorganism field, and energy. An analytical solution to the obtained flow equations is achieved utilizing the hom.t.py analysis m.t.od(HAm).the effects of significant flow param.t.rs on the pressure and microorganism fields, velocity, oscillation velocity, concentration, and temperature distributions are shown via graphs. Furthermore, the variations in skin friction, mass transfer rate, heat transfer rate, and local m.t.le number due to different involved param.t.rs are presented in tables and are analyzed in detail. Graphical results indicate that the curves of velocity and temperature fields are enhanced as the values of the solid volume fraction variables *** is also verified that the concentration rate field decreases as the values of the homogeneous reaction strength param.t.r and the radius of curvature param.t.r increase, and it increases with the Schmidt number and the heterogeneous reaction strength *** outcomes show a favorable response of the m.t.le number to advanced values of the Peclet number, the Schmidt number, the microorganism difference param.t.r, and the bio-convective Lewis number.

Background:Hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)is the most common cause of cancer-related death in Saudi *** study aimed to investigate the patterns of HCC and the effect of tNm staging,Alfa-fetoprotein(AFP),and Child-turcotte Pugh(CtP)on patients’overall survival(OS).m.t.ods:A retrospective analysis was conducted on 43 HCC patients at a single oncology center in Saudi Arabia from 2015 to *** patients had to fulfill one of the following criteria:(a)a liver lesion reported as definitive HCC on dynamic imaging and/or(b)a biopsy-confirmed ***:the mean patient age of all HCC cases was 66.8 with a male-to-female ratio of 3.3:*** patients were stratified into two groups:viral HCC(n=22,51%)and non-viral HCC(n=21,49%).Among viral-HCC patients,55%were due to HBV and 45%due to *** was diagnosed in 79%of *** and sex did not significantly statistically differ in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value>0.05).About 65%of patients had tumor size>5 cm during the diagnosis,with a significant statistical difference in OS(p-value=0.027).AFP was>400 ng/ml in 45%of the *** was a statistically significant difference in the OS in terms of AFP levels(p-value=0.021).A statistically significant difference was also observed between the CtP score and OS(p-value=0.02).CtP class B had the longest *** was the most common treatment provided to HCC patients followed by sorafenib *** was a significant statistical difference in OS among viral and non-viral HCC patients(p-value=0.008).Conclusions:the most common predictors for OS were the underlying cause of HCC,AFP,and tumor *** having non-viral etiology,a tumor size>5 cm,an AFP>400 ng/mL,and a CtP score class C were all negatively associated with OS.

magnetic nanofiuid hydrothermal analysis over a plate is studied that includes consideration of thermal radiation. the Runge-Kutta （RK4） m.t.od is utilized to get solution of ODEs which are obtained from similarity solution. In considering the impacts of Brownian m.t.on, we applied Koo-Kleinstreuer-Li cor- relation to simulate the properties of CuO-water. the influence is discussed of important param.t.rs such as the temperature index, magnetic, radiation, and velocity ratio param.t.rs and volume fraction of nanoparticle on hydrothermal behavior. Results illustrate that the coefficient of skin friction enhances with enhancing magnetic param.t.r while reduces with enhancing velocity ratio param.t.r. Also the Nusselt number was found to directly depend on the velocity ratio and temperature index param.t.rs but has an inverse dependence on the magnetic and radiation param.t.rs.

Demonstrating the transient System Impact of Cyber-Physical Events through Scalable transmission and Distribution (t&D) Co-Simulation

modern power systems become more vulnerable to cyber threats due to their growing interconnectivity, interdependence, and complexity. Widespread deployment of distributed energy resources (DERs) further expands the threat landscape to the grid edge, where fewer cybersecurity protections exist. In this article, a system.t.c cyber-physical events demonstration, enabled by an integrated transmission, distribution, and communication co-simulation framework, is performed. It analyzes cyber risks to power grid under DER-enabled autom.t.c generation control from different angles. Unlike existing works, the simulation captures millisecond-to-minutes frequency and voltage transient dynamics at a cross-region system scale.

the identification of jets originating from quarks and gluons,often referred to as quark/gluon tagging,plays an important role in various analyses performed at the Large Hadron Collider,as Standard model measurements and searches for new particles decaying to quarks often rely on suppressing a large gluon-induced *** paper describes the measurement of the efficiencies of quark/gluon taggers developed within the AtLAS Collaboration,using √s=13 teV proton–proton collision data with an integrated luminosity of 140 fb^(-1) collected by the AtLAS *** taggers with high performances in rejecting jets from gluon over jets from quarks are studied:one tagger is based on requirements on the number of inner-detector tracks associated with the jet,and the other combines several jet substructure observables using a boosted decision tree.A m.t.od is established to determine the quark/gluon fraction in data,by using quark/gluon-enriched subsamples defined by the jet *** in tagging efficiency between data and simulation are provided for jets with transverse momentum between 500 GeV and 2 teV and for multiple tagger working points.

Stair and Step Soliton Solutions of the Integrable (2+1) and (3+1)-Dimensional Boiti-Leon-manna-Pempinelli Equations

the multiple exp-function m.t.od is a new approach to obtain multiple wave solutions of nonlinear partial differential equations (NLPDEs). By this m.t.od one can obtain multi-soliton solutions of NLPDEs. In this paper, using computer algebra systems, we apply the multiple exp-function m.t.od to construct the exact multiple wave solutions of a (2+1)-dimensional Boiti-Leon-manna-Pempinelli equation. Also, we extend the equation to a (3+1)-dimensional case and obtain some exact solutions for the new equation by applying the multiple exp-function m.t.od. By these applications, we obtain single-wave, double-wave and multi-wave solutions for these equations.

Influence of nitrogen and sulfur fertilization on quality of canola(Brassica napus L.) under rainfed conditions

Field experiments were conducted at Cereal Crops Research Institute, Pirsabak, Nowshera, Pakistan, during winter 2003～2004; 2004～2005 to evaluate the effect of nitrogen; sulfur levels; m.t.ods of nitrogen application on canola (Brassica napus L. cv. Bulbul-98) under rainfed conditions. Four levels of S (0, 10, 20,; 30 kg/ha); three levels of N (40, 60,; 80 kg/ha); a control treatment with both nutrients at zero level were included in the experiments. Sulfur levels were applied at sowing while N levels were applied by three m.t.ods (100% soil application, 90% soil+10% foliar application,; 80% soil +20% foliar application). the experiments were laid out in randomized complete block (RCB) design having four replications. Oil content increased significantly up to 20 kg S/ha but further increase in S level did not enhance oil content. Glucosinolate content increased from 13.6 to 24.6 μmol/g as S rate was increased from 0 to 30 kg/ha. Protein content increased from 22.4% to 23.2% as S rate was increased from 0 to 20 kg/ha. Oil content responded negatively to the increasing N levels. the highest N level resulted in the highest values for protein (23.5%); glucosinolate (19.9 μmol/g) contents. m.t.ods of N application had no significant impact on any param.t.rs under study.

城市污水集中收集率是城市污水系统运行效率的关键指标，城市污水污染物排放量是计算城市污水集中收集率的必需参数，但城市污水系统较高溢流量和缺乏溢流监测带来计算城市污水排污量的困扰。为此，应用城市污水系统模型和用水、污水处理、常住人口数等常规市政数据，首次提出了根据污水处理厂进水流量和负荷计算城市污水污染物排放量和污水集中收集率的2种方法。以面积约110 km2、常住居民近100×10～4人口的城区污水系统为例，展示了应用2种方法的所需数据、具体步骤和计算结果，分析了2种方法各自的适用性。对流动人口、工商业活动和人日排污量等因素对城市污水污染物排污量的影响和估算进行了讨论。2种方法对当下国内和国外一些国家的城市污水排污量、污水集中收集率的计算和城市污水系统运行效率的评估，具有现实意义。
