Objectives: To evaluate the role of Doppler ultrasound in prediction and follow up during management of gestational trophoblastic neoplasia (GTN). methods: The study was performed at Oncology Unit, maternity Hospital, Ain Shams University in the period from November 2015 to December 2018. Forty cases of complete mole, after evacuation and follow up of serum human chorionic gonodotrophin (β-hCG) titre until it reached zero level (group I) and forty post molar GTN cases (group II) were included in the study. Doppler ultrasound of the subendometrial and intramural blood flow was done for all cases of group I and II. Doppler included two dimensional and three dimensional power Doppler indices. Group II received methotrexate (mTX) and folinic acid in a dose of 8-day mTX-FA regimen. Doppler follow up for six months of group II concurrently with the chemotherapy regimen was done. Results: A statistically significant difference was found between group I and II regarding initial readings of all Doppler parameters. Follow up for 6 months of GTN cases revealed progressive statistically significant decrease of intramural and subendometrial three dimensional power Doppler (3DPD) indices, while there was a significant increase in two dimensional (2D) Doppler parameters. Four cases were resistant to methotrexate chemotherapy. Cut off values were determined for prediction of GTN. multivariate analysis revealed that the most predictive parameter was the subendometrial pulsatility index (PI), odds ratio = 10.63 (95% CI: 1.30 - 86.89). The cut-off point for sub-endometrial PI was: 2.05 (AUC, 90%;sensitivity, 88%;specificity, 76%, PPV 78%, and NPV 86%) with a diagnostic accuracy of 87%. To and Fro sign may be considered a pathognomonic intramural ultrasound sign for prediction of GTN chemo-resistance or choriocarcinoma. The performance of La2-x m x CuO4 perovskites （where m=Ce,Ca or Sr） as catalysts for the water-gas shift reaction was investigated at 290℃ and 360℃.The catalysts were characterized by EDS,XRD,N2 adsorption-desorption,XPS and *** XRD results showed that all the perovskites exhibited a single phase （the presence of perovskite structure）,suggesting the incorporation of metals in the perovskite *** XPS and XANES results showed the presence of Cu2＋ on the *** perovskites that exhibited the best catalytic performance were La 2 x Ce x CuO 4 perovskites,with CO conversions of 85% 90%.moreover,these perovskites have higher surface areas and larger amounts of Cu on the *** Ce has a higher filled energy level than the other metals,increasing the energy of the valence band of Ce and providing more electrons for the ***,the La1.80Ca0.20CuO4 perovskite showed a good catalytic performance.

The southern part of the Eastern Desert of Egypt—about 30 km southwest of Abu-Ramad city—is mainly covered by ophiolitic rocks(Sul Hamed), island arc assemblage, younger granites(muscovite granites of Qash Amer and two mica granites of El Sela), and various acidic and basic dikes. Field, petrological, and geochemical studies indicate that the El Sela shear zone has been subject to hydrothermal and supergene alteration such as kaolinization, albitization, sericitization, and hematitization. It is invaded by quartz ENE–WSW veins associated with hydrothermal alteration accompanied by radioactive mineralization. The investigated younger granitic rocks had very low contents of compatible elements, such as Cr, Ni,and Co; and high contents of incompatible elements, such as Zr, and large ion lithophiles, such as Sr, especially in the El Sela shear zone. major oxide and trace element analyses revealed calc-alkaline affinity and peraluminous *** highly differentiated granitic rocks' lower Zr/Hf and higher Y/Ho than the normal ratio are consistent with hydrothermal alteration. most samples had rare earth element(REE)-patterns with an m-type tetrad effect in the first and fourth segments and a W-type tetrad in the third segment. The average ∑REE in the studied granites was lower than the world granite average; the ratio of light to heavy REEs greater. The main radioactive, uranium-bearing, and uraniferous Fe and mn minerals are uranothorite,autunite, uranophane and autunite as compounds, kasolite,columbite, xenotime, uranophane-bearing zircon and jarosite, silver-bearing pyrite, hematite, and autunite-bearing pyrolusite.

BACKGROUND Hepatitis C virus(HCV)infection and its consequent complications are undeniably a public health burden worldwide,particularly in *** evidence suggests that many lncRNAs have relevant roles in viral infections and antiviral *** To investigate the expression profiles of circulating lncRNAGAS5,lncRNAHEIH,lncRNABISPR and mRNABST2 in naïve,treated and relapsed HCV Egyptian patients,to elucidate relation to HCV infection and their efficacy as innovative biomarkers for the diagnosis and prognosis of HCV *** One hundred and thirty HCV-infected Egyptian patients and 20 healthy controls were included in this *** lncRNAs and mRNABST2 were measured using quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).RESULTS Our results indicated that serum lncRNAGAS5 and LncRNABISPR were upregulated,whereas mRNA BST2 and LncRNA HEIH were downregulated in naïve *** contrast,HCV patients treated with sofosbuvir and simeprevir;with sofosbuvir and daclatasvir;or with sofosbuvir,daclatasvir and ribavirin exhibited lower levels of lncRNAGAS5 and lncRNABISPR with higher mRNABST2 compared to naïve ***,patients relapsed from sofosbuvir and simeprevir showed higher levels of these lncRNAs with lower mRNABST2 compared to treated ***5 and lncRNABISPR were positively correlated with viral load and ALT at PmRNABST2 was negatively correlated with viral load at Pment in HCV pathogenesis or antiviral response and highlights their promising roles in diagnosis and prognosis of HCV.
