Contextuality is thought of as an intrinsic signature of non-classicality, and a crucial resource for achieving unique advantages of quantum information processing. However, recently there have been debates on whether classical fields may also demonstrate contextuality. In this line, non-classicalities of entanglement and contexuality have been questioned, and the boundary between quantum and classical correlations becomes obscure. Here we experimentally test a fundamental non-contextual（NC） inequality with both quantum and classical optical systems. In particular, we apply identical measurements on both systems, therefore provide a unified comparison between them. The results show that although the quantum system provides a clear violation of the NC inequality, the violations with the classical system strongly depend on the specific definition of the measurement event which is equivalent to filtering the non-classical component of the input state. Our results confirm the role of contextuality as an unambiguous signature of non-classicality, and provide new insights on the resources required for classical systems to achieve the quantum bound.

There are limited biosecurity measures directed at preventing airborne transmission of viruses in *** effectiveness of dust mitigation strategies such as oil sprinkling,to decrease risk of airborne virus transmission are *** and qPCR for common fecal viruses were used to hunt for a ubiquitous virus to serve as a proxy when evaluating the efficiency of mitigation strategies against airborne viral infectious *** particles were collected from swine buildings using high-volume air *** DNA and RNA were used to perform specific RT-qPCR and qPCR and analyzed by highthroughput *** astroviruses group 2 were common(from 102 to 105 genomic copies per cubic meter of air or gc/m^(3),93%positivity)while no norovirus genogroup II was recovered from air *** torque teno sus virus were detected by qPCR in low concentrations(from 101 to 102 gc/m^(3),47%positivity).Among the identified viral families by metagenomics analysis,Herelleviridae,microviridae,myoviridae,Podoviridae,and siphoviridae were *** phage vB_Avim_AVP of Aerococcus was present in all air samples and a newly designed qPCR revealed between 101 and 105 gc/m^(3) among the samples taken for the present study(97%positivity)and banked samples from5-and 15-year old studies(89%positivity).According to the present study,both the porcine astrovirus group 2 and the phage vB_Avim_AVP of Aerococcus could be proxy for airborne viruses of swine buildings.

High-mobility group box 1 was first discovered in the calf thymus as a DNA-binding nuclear protein and has been widely studied in diverse fields,including neurology and ***-mobility group box 1 in the extracellular space functions as a pro-inflammatory damage-associated molecular pattern,which has been proven to play an important role in a wide variety of central nervous system disorders such as ischemic stroke,Alzheimer’s disease,frontotemporal dementia,Parkinson’s disease,multiple sclerosis,epilepsy,and traumatic brain *** drugs that inhibit high-mobility group box 1 as a damage-associated molecular pattern,such as glycyrrhizin,ethyl pyruvate,and neutralizing anti-high-mobility group box 1 antibodies,are commonly used to target high-mobility group box 1 activity in central nervous system *** it is commonly known for its detrimental inflammatory effect,high-mobility group box 1 has also been shown to have beneficial pro-regenerative roles in central nervous system *** this narrative review,we provide a brief summary of the history of high-mobility group box 1 research and its characterization as a damage-associated molecular pattern,its downstream receptors,and intracellular signaling pathways,how high-mobility group box 1 exerts the repair-favoring roles in general and in the central nervous system,and clues on how to differentiate the pro-regenerative from the pro-inflammatory *** targeting high-mobility group box 1 in the central nervous system may benefit from differentiating between the two functions rather than overall suppression of high-mobility group box 1.

With the increasing prevalence of lithium-ion batteries（LIBs） applications,the demand for high-capacity next-generation materials has also *** currently considered a promising anode material due to its exceptionally high capacity for ***,the significant volumetric changes of siOxduring cycling and its initial Coulombic efficiency（ICE） complicate its use,whether alone or in combination with graphite *** this study,a three-dimensional conductive binder network with high electronic conductivity and robust elasticity for graphite/siOxblended anodes was proposed by chemically anchoring carbon nanotubes and carboxymethyl cellulose binders using tannic acid as a chemical *** addition,a dehydrogenation-based prelithiation strategy employing lithium hydride was utilized to enhance the ICE of *** combination of these two strategies increased the CE of siOxfrom 74% to87% and effectively mitigated its volume expansion in the graphite/siOxblended electrode,resulting in an efficient electron-conductive binder *** led to a remarkable capacity retention of 94% after30 cycles,even under challenging conditions,with a high capacity of 550 mA h g-1and a current density of 4 mA ***,to validate the feasibility of utilizing prelithiated siOxanode materials and the conductive binder network in LIBs,a full cell incorporating these materials and a single-crystalline Ni-rich cathode was *** cell demonstrated a～27.3% increase in discharge capacity of the first cycle(～185.7 mA h g-1) and exhibited a cycling stability of 300 ***,this study reports a simple,feasible,and insightful method for designing high-performance LIB electrodes.

In computing systems, processing and memory units have been integrated into logic-in-memory(Lim) to enhance the computational efficiency and performance. Lim has been attempted to perform not only binary but also ternary logic functions, which reduces computing complexity. Herein, we demonstrate a binary and ternary Lim(BT-Lim) cell with eight triple-gated(TG) feedback field-effect transistors(FBFETs) reconfigured into n-or p-channel modes. The TG FBFETs exhibit symmetrical latch-up voltages and an on-current ratio of 1.02 between the n-and p-channel modes, which indicates a high potential for reconfigurable logic applications. The BT-Lim cell can perform YEs, NOT, AND, OR, NAND, NOR, XNOR, and XOR logic functions in a single cell because of these reconfigurable characteristics. Further, binary and ternary logic functions are realized in the cell without a programming stage, and the cell maintains the results of the logic functions under zero-bias conditions. This study achieves multifunctional Lim that can operate all binary and ternary Boolean logics.

Cycloalkanes and cyclohexanols find diverse applications, including sustainable aviation fuel, fuel additives, and value-added chemicals. These compounds can be produced via complete or selective hydrodeoxygenation（HDO） of lignin-derived phenolic monomers. In this study, a urea-assisted method was employed to control the size of Ru nanoparticles（NPs） and tune the surfaceactive sites on Ru metal supported on CNx. By adjusting the Ru-to-urea molar ratio, both the size of Ru NPs and the metallic-tooxide ratio of Ru were controlled, along with the incorporation of N atoms into the RuO2surface coordination. In the absence of urea, the Ru/CNx（1:0） catalyst, containing 4.8 nm Ru NPs, achieved complete HDO of 4-propyl guaiacol to n-propyl cyclohexane through ring saturation, followed by hydro-demethoxylation of the C–OCH3group, and hydrogenolysis of the –OH group, with a 97.0% yield at an initial H2pressure of 1.5 mPa, 200 °C, and 20 h in water. The final hydrogenolysis step was inhibited over the urea-assisted catalysts. The Ru/CNx（1:8） catalyst, containing 3.1 nm Ru NPs, achieved a maximum selectivity of 67.6% for n-propyl cyclohexanol, along with complete conversion of 4-propyl guaiacol. similar trends were observed in the product distribution when upgrading reductive catalytic fractionation bio-oil over Ru/CNx（1:0） and Ru/CNx（1:8）.
