Extension of Direct Citation model Using In-Text Citations

Citations based relevant research paper recommendations can be generated primarily with the assistance of three citation models:(1)Bibliographic Coupling,(2)Co-Citation,and(3)Direct *** of new scholarly articles are published every *** flux of scientific information has made it a challenging task to devise techniques that could help researchers to find the most relevant research papers for the paper at *** this study,we have deployed an in-text citation analysis that extends the Direct Citation model to discover the nature of the relationship degree-ofrelevancy among scientific *** this purpose,the relationship between citing and cited articles is categorized into three categories:weak,medium,and *** an experiment,around 5,000 research papers were crawled from the *** research papers were parsed for the identification of in-text citation ***,0.1 million references of those articles were extracted,and their in-text citation frequencies were computed.A comprehensive benchmark dataset was established based on the user ***,the results were validated with the help of Least square Approximation by Quadratic Polynomial *** was found that degreeof-relevancy between scientific papers is a quadratic increasing/decreasing polynomial with respect to-increase/decrease in the in-text citation frequencies of a cited ***,the results of the proposed model were compared with state-of-the-art techniques by utilizing a well-known measure,known as the normalized Discount Cumulative Gain(nDCG).The proposed method received an nDCG score of 0.89,whereas the state-of-the-art models such as the Content,Bibliographic-coupling,and metadata-based models were able to acquire the nDCG values of 0.65,0.54,and 0.51 *** results indicate that the proposed mechanism may be applied in future information retrieval systems for better results.

A Proposed Feature selection Particle swarm Optimization Adaptation for Intelligent Logistics--A supply Chain Backlog Elimination Framework

The diversity of data sources resulted in seeking effective manipulation and *** challenge that arises from the increasing dimensionality has a negative effect on the computation performance,efficiency,and stability of *** of the most successful optimization algorithms is Particle swarm Optimization(PsO)which has proved its effectiveness in exploring the highest influencing features in the search space based on its fast convergence and the ability to utilize a small set of parameters in the search *** research proposes an effective enhancement of PsO that tackles the challenge of randomness search which directly enhances PsO *** the other hand,this research proposes a generic intelligent framework for early prediction of orders delay and eliminate orders backlogs which could be considered as an efficient potential solution for raising the supply chain *** proposed adapted algorithm has been applied to a supply chain dataset which minimized the features set from twenty-one features to ten significant *** confirm the proposed algorithm results,the updated data has been examined by eight of the well-known classification algorithms which reached a minimum accuracy percentage equal to 94.3%for random forest and a maximum of 99.0 for Naïve ***,the proposed algorithm adaptation has been compared with other proposed adaptations of PsO from the literature over different *** proposed PsO adaptation reached a higher accuracy compared with the literature ranging from 97.8 to 99.36 which also proved the advancement of the current research.

Thyroid hormones play essential roles in spermatogenesis,but their effects on infertile males remain poorly *** study aimed to evaluate the impact of combining carbimazole(CBZ)with vitamin E(VE)on testicular injury induced by experimental hyperthyroidism in adult albino rats,focusing on oxidative,inflammatory,and apoptotic *** this experimental study,64 adult male albino Wistar rats were divided into eight groups:Group I(control-untreated),Group II(CBZ-control),Group III(VE-control),Group IV(CBZ+VE-control),Group V(levothyroxine-induced testicular injury),Group VI(levothyroxine+CBZ-treated),Group VII(levothyroxine+VE-treated),and Group VIII(levothyroxine+CBZ+VE-treated).The study was conducted in the Faculty of medicine,suez Canal University(Ismailia,Egypt).After cervical decapitation,both testes and epididymis were examined histopathologically and *** differences were observed among groups concerning malondialdehyde(mDA),glutathione(GsH),superoxide dismutase(sOD),and catalase(CAT;all Pmerase chain reaction analysis showed significant differences in tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),interleukin-10(IL-10),Bcl-2-associated X protein(BAX),B-cell lymphoma 2 protein(Bcl2),p53,Caspase-3,Caspase-8,Caspase-9,and nuclear factor-kappa B(NF-κB)mRNA levels(all Psticular side effects,affecting seminiferous tubules and ***,the Group VIII showed improved spermatogenesis and a decrease in testicular side *** addition of VE to the treatment of hyperthyroid rats with CBZ reduced testicular side effects and seminiferous tubular affection when potentially improving *** research is needed to elucidate the underlying mechanisms fully.

Piezoelectric-enhanced n-TiO2/BaTiO3/p-TiO2 heterojunction for highly efficient photoelectrocatalysis

Charge separation is critical for achieving efficient solar-to-hydrogen conversion,whereas piezoelectric-enhanced photoelectrochemical（PEC） systems can effectively modulate band bending and charge ***,we design an n-Ti O2/Ba Ti O3/p-Ti O2（TBTm） heterojunction in which the piezoelectric Ba Ti O3layer is sandwiched between n-Ti O2and p-Ti *** built-in electric field of TBTm can provide a strong driving force to accelerate carrier separation and prolong carrier ***,the TBT3 achieves a prominent photocurrent density,as high as 2.13 m A cm-2at 1.23 V versus reversible hydrogen electrode （RHE）,which is 2.4-and 1.5-times higher than Ti O2and Ti O2–Ba Ti O3heterojunction,*** by mechanical deformation,the induced dipole polarization can further regulate built-in electric fields,and the piezoelectric photocurrent density of TBT3-800 is 2.84 times higher than Ti O2at 1.23 V *** due to the construction of *** work provides a piezoelectric polarization strategy for modulating the built-in electric field of heterojunction for PEC system.

Experimental study on spray characteristics of aviation kerosene RP-3 in a radial rotary atomizer

In this work,the spray behaviors of a rotary atomizer with round-shaped injection orifices are experimentally investigated to study the breakup mechanism and spray characteristics using RP-3 as the liquid *** breakup process of the liquid is visualized by the backlight shadow imaging method,which also provides the measurements of liquid breakup length and penetration *** injection mode of the liquid film is observed using the front-light illumination *** droplet size and distribution are measured using the laser particle size analyzer at various radial *** typical breakup modes are identified:the ligament breakup mode,bag breakup mode,and shear breakup *** Weber number(Wed)and momentum flux ratio(q)are used to elaborate the liquid breakup *** of droplet sizing indicate that the sauter mean diameter decreases with a higher rotational speed and slightly varies with the volume flow rate.A correlation between liquid breakup modes and non-dimensional droplet size is established based on Wed and *** study presents some significance for understanding the impacts of the rotational speed and volume flow rates on the spray performance of actual aviation fuels in rotary atomizers.

Evaluating the influence of a structured nursing protocol on targeted outcomes in rheumatoid arthritis patients

Objective:Rheumatoid arthritis(RA)requires comprehensive *** nursing protocols may enhance outcomes,but evidence is *** study evaluated the effect of a structured nursing protocol on RA *** and methods:In this one-group pre-post study,30 Egyptian RA patients completed assessments before and after a 12-week nursing protocol comprising education,psychosocial support,and self-management *** included clinical evaluation of joint counts,erythrocyte sedimentation rate(EsR),and C-reactive protein(CRP)and patient-reported Arthritis self-Efficacy scale(AsEs),Health Assessment Questionnaire(HAQ),Visual Analog scale(VAs)for pain,and Hospital Anxiety and Depression scale(HADs).Results:The study demonstrated significant improvements in both clinical-and patient-reported *** count decreased from 18.4±4.2 to 14.2±3.8(PsR from 30.1±6.8 mm/h to 25.5±6.8 mm/h(Ps from 15.2±3.6 mg/L to 11.8±2.9 mg/L(Pmes showed a marked increase in AsEs score from 140±25 to 170±30(Ps in HAQ from 1.6±0.4 to 1.3±0.3(Ps pain score from 7.8±1.7 to 6.2±1.2(Ps anxiety and depression scores from 11±3 to 8±2(Pstructured nursing protocol significantly improved clinical disease activity,physical functioning,pain,self-efficacy,and emotional well-being in RA patients.A multifaceted nursing intervention appears beneficial for optimizing RA outcomes.

Algorithms for steganography are methods of hiding data transfers in media *** machine learning architectures have been presented recently to improve stego image identification performance by using spatial information,and these methods have made it feasible to handle a wide range of problems associated with image *** with little information or low payload are used by information embedding methods,but the goal of all contemporary research is to employ high-payload images for *** address the need for both low-and high-payload images,this work provides a machine-learning approach to steganography image classification that uses Curvelet transformation to efficiently extract characteristics from both type of *** Vector machine(sVm),a commonplace classification technique,has been employed to determine whether the image is a stego or *** Wavelet Obtained Weights(WOW),spatial Universal Wavelet Relative Distortion(s-UNIWARD),Highly Undetectable steganography(HUGO),and minimizing the Power of Optimal Detector(miPOD)steganography techniques are used in a variety of experimental scenarios to evaluate the performance of the *** WOW at several payloads,the proposed approach proves its classification accuracy of 98.60%.It exhibits its superiority over sOTA methods.

Unveiling the intrinsic properties of single NiZnFeO_x entity for promoting electrocatalytic oxygen evolution

Although considerable research efforts have been devoted to the design and development of non-noble electrocatalysts for oxygen evolution reaction(OER), substantial enhancement of OER performance with commercial-scale water electrolysis remains a big challenge. This could result from the difficulties in detecting the intrinsic properties and overlooking the assembly process for electrochemical OER process. Here, we employ a microjet collision method to investigate the intrinsic OER activities of individual NiZnFeO_x entities with and without a moderate magnetic field. Our results demonstrate that single NiZnFeO_x nanoparticles(NPs) show the excellent OER performance with a lowest onset potential(~1.35 V vs. RHE) and a greatest magnetic enhancement(~118%) among bulk materials, single agglomerations and NPs. Furthermore, we explore the utility of theoretical investigation by density functional theory(DFT)calculations for studying OER process on NiZnFeO_x surfaces without and with spin alignment, indicating monodispersed NiZnFeO_xNPs with totally spin alignment facilitates the OER process under the external magnetic field. It is found that the well-dispersion of NiZnFeO_x NPs would increase the electrical conductivity and the surface spin state, resulting in promoting their OER activities. This work provides a test for uncovering the essential roles of NPs assembly to a significant promotion of their magnet-assisted OER.
