In this paper, charged Higgs pair production through l^＋l^- → H^＋ H^-, where l = e or μ, is studied within the framework of a general Two Higgs Doublet model （2HDm）. The analysis is relevant to a future e^＋e^- or μ^＋ μ^- collider operating at center of mass energy of √s = 500 GeV. Two different scenarios of small and large a values are studied. Here a is the parameter, which diagonmizes the neutral CP-even Higgs boson mass matrix. Within the minimal supersymmetric standard model （mssm）, cross section of this process is almost the same at e＋ e- and #＋#- colliders. It is shown that at e^＋e^- eolliders within a general 2HDm, cross section is not sensitive to the mass of neutral Higgs bosons, however, it can acquire large values up to several picobarn at μ^＋μ^- colliders with the presence of heavy neutral Higgs bosons. A scan over Higgs boson mass parameter space is performed to analyze the effect of large masses of neutral Higgs bosons involved in the s-channel propagator and thus in the total cross section of this process.

In this paper,we investigated the inuence of rotating half-space on the propagation of Rayleigh waves in a homogeneous isotropic,generalized thermo-elastic body,subject to the boundary conditions that the surface is traction *** addition,it is subject to insulating thermal conduction.A general solution is obtained by using Lame’potential’s and Hankel *** dispersion equations has been derived separately for two types of Rayleigh wave propagation properties by solving the equations of motion with appropriate boundary *** is observed that the rotation,frequency and r exert some influence in the homogeneous isotropic medium due to propagation of Rayleigh *** frequency equation has been derived of homogeneous properties by solving the equations of motion with appropriate boundary *** has been found that the frequency equation of waves contains a term involving the ***,the phase velocity of Rayleigh waves changes with respect to this *** the rotating vanishes,the derived frequency equation reduces to that obtained in classical generalized thermo-elastic case which includes the relaxation time of heat *** order to illustrate the analytical development,the numerical solution is carried out and computer simulated results in respect of Rayleigh wave velocity and attenuation coefficient are presented graphysically.A comparative and remarkable study has been carried out through various graphs to deliberate the consequences of different parameter on the frequency *** obtained results can be very useful in the design and optimization of Rayleigh wave.

melatonin,the hormone of darkness and messenger of the photoperiod,is also well known to exhibit strong direct and indirect antioxidant properties. melatonin has previously been demonstrated to be a powerful organ protective substance in numerous models of injury; these beneficial effects have been attributed to the hormone's intense radical scavenging capacity. The present report reviews the hepatoprotective potential of the pineal hormone in various models of oxidative stress in vivo,and summarizes the extensive literature showing that melatonin may be a suitable experimental substance to reduce liver damage after sepsis,hemorrhagic shock,ischemia/reperfusion,and in numerous models of toxic liver injury. melatonin's influence on hepatic antioxidant enzymes and other potentially relevant pathways,such as nitric oxide signaling,hepatic cytokine and heat shock protein expression,are evaluated. Based on recent literature demonstrating the functional relevance of melatonin receptor activation for hepatic organ protection,this article finally suggests that melatonin receptors could mediate the hepatoprotective actions of melatonin therapy.

Intermetallic materials have long been considered as potential candidates for high temperature applications due to their high strength/weight ratio, oxidation resistance, and corrosion resistance. The recent alloy design approaches undertaken by many researchers around the world allowed design of intermetallics for high strength application. Environmental embrittlement, solidification porosity, and low ductility of FeAl alloys necessitated innovative ways of processing FeAl sheets based on powder metallurgical route as opposed to an ingot route. Excellent sheets of FeAl have been processed by roll compaction followed by sintering technique using water atomized FeAl powder. Gas atomized FeAl powder was used to obtain sheets of FeAl by tape casting technique. Plasma spray technique was employed to obtain coating of FeAl alloy.

We have delivered viral vectors containing either Chop2 fused with GFP, Channelrhodopsin-2 （ChR2）, or Halorhodopsin （HaloR） fused with mCherry （to form light gated cation channels or chloride pumps, respectively）, into the dorsal cochlear nucleus （DCN）. One to eighteen months later we examined the CN and inferior colliculus （IC） for evidence of virally transfected cells and processes. Production of ChR2 and HaloR was observed throughout the DCN. Rhodopsin localization within neurons was determined, with elongate, fusiform and giant cells identified based on morphology and location within the DCN. Production of ChR2 and HaloR was found at both the injection site as well as in regions projecting to and from the DCN. Light driven neuronal activity in the DCN was dependent upon the wavelength and intensity of the light, with only the appropriate wavelength resulting in activation and higher intensity light resulting in more neuronal activity. Transfecting cells via viral delivery of rhodopsins can be useful as a tract tracer and as a neuronal marker to delineate pathways. In the future rhodopsin delivery and activation may be developed as an alternative to electrical stimulation of neurons.
