Immunotherapy becomes a promising line of treatment for breast cancer(BC)however,its success rate is still ***:The study was designed to optimize the condition for producing an effective dendritic cell(DCs)based immunotherapy by using DCs and T lymphocytes together with tumor-inﬁltrating lymphocytes(TILs)and tumor-inﬁltrating DCs(TIDCs),treated with anti-PD1 and anti-CTLA4 monoclonal *** mixture of immune cells was co-cultured with autologous breast cancer cells(BCCs)isolated from 26 BC ***:There was a signiﬁcant upregulation of CD86 and CD83 on DCs(p=0.001 and 0.017,respectively),similarly upregulation of CD8,CD4 and CD103 on T cells(p=0.031,0.027,and 0.011,respectively).While there was a signiﬁcant downregulation of FOXP3 and combined ***8 expression on regulatory T cells(p=0.014 for both).Increased CD8/Foxp3 ratio(ps also ***133,CD34 and CD44 were downregulated on BCCs(p=0.01,0.021,and 0.015,respectively).There was a signiﬁcant increase in interferon-γ(IFN-γ,pse(LDH,p=0.02),and a signiﬁcant decrease in vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF,pssion of FOXP3 and Programmed cell death ligand 1(PDL-1)were downregulated in BCCs(psimilarly cytotoxic T lymphocyte antigen-4(CTLA4,p=0.02),Programmed cell death 1(PD-1,psigniﬁcantly downregulated in T ***:Ex-vivo activation of immune cells(DCs,T cells,TIDCs,and TILs)with immune checkpoint inhibitors could produce a potent and effective BC ***,these data should be validated on an experimental animal model to be transferred to the clinical setting.

Remediation of amide pesticide-polluted soils by combined solarization and ozonation treatment

Agriculture has a close relationship with nature,but it can also be the source of negative and permanent environmental *** use of pesticides in modern agriculture is a common practice,but their side effects on the environment cannot be *** this study,we evaluated a combination of solarization and ozonation techniques for the elimination of six amide pesticides(boscalid,chlorantraniliprole,cyflufenamid,fluopyram,napropamide,and propyzamide)in *** experiments were performed with four different soils to assess the efficiency of this methodology at different soil temperatures and ozone dosages under laboratory conditions,and then a greenhouse pot experiment was conducted under controlled conditions during *** days after the onset of the experiments,higher degradation percentages of amide pesticides were observed in ozonized soils than in other treated soils,particularly when ozone was applied at 10 cm soil *** results show that the utilization of ozonation,along with solarization,represents a valid method for degrading residues of the studied pesticides and suggest that this combined technology may be a promising tool for remediating pesticide-polluted soils.

Gene editing particle system as a therapeutic approach for drug-resistant colorectal cancer

The epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)pathway plays an important role in the progression of colorectal cancer(CRC).Anti-EGFR drugs based on antibodies have been widely used for treating CRC through inducing the cell death ***,the majority of CRC patients will inevitably develop drug-resistance during anti-EGFR drug treatment,which is mainly caused by a point mutation in the KRAs *** developed a nanoliposomal(NL)particle containing the Cas9 protein and a single-guide RNA(sgRNA)complex(Cas9-RNP),for genomic editing of the KRAs *** NL particle is composed of bio-compatible lipid compounds that can effectively encapsulate *** modifying the NL particle to include the appropriate antibody,it can specifically recognize EGFR expressing CRC and effectively deliver the gene-editing *** conditions of NL treatment were optimized using a KRAs mutated CRC in vivo mouse *** with KRAs-mutated CRC showed drug resistance against cetuximab,a therapeutic antibody *** treating the mice with the KRAs gene-editing NL particles,the implanted tumors showed a dramatic decrease in *** results demonstrated that this genomic editing complex has great potential as a therapeutic carrier system for the treatment of drug-resistant cancer caused by a point mutation.

Quasi-in-situ observing the rare earth texture evolution in an extruded mg-Zn-Gd alloy with bimodal microstructure

The static recrystallization and associated texture evolution were investigated in an extruded mg-Zn-Gd alloy with bimodal microstructure based on a quasi-in-situ electron back-scatter diffraction(EBsD)*** typical rare earth(RE)texture formed during annealing,evolving from the bimodal microstructure with[1010]basal fiber texture that consisted of fine recrystallized(RXed)grains and coarse unrecrystallized(un RXed)grains elongated along the extrusion *** both RXed and un RXed regions,the RXed nucleation produced randomized orientations without preferred selection and the RXed grains with RE texture orientation had more intensive growth ability than those with basal fiber orientation,thereby leading to the preferred selection of RE texture orientation during grain *** relationships between stored strain energy,solute drag,grain growth and texture evolution are discussed in *** study provided direct evidence of the RE texture evolution in an extruded mg-RE alloy,which assists in understanding the formation mechanisms for RE texture during extrusion and better developing wrought mg alloys with improved formability.

This work reports the cost-effective growth of mg:PbI2 nanostructures with 0,1,2.5 and 5.0 wt.%mg doping ***,vibrational,morphological properties are analyzed using x-ray diffraction(XRD),Raman spectroscopy and scanning electron microscopy(sEm).XRD and Raman studies confirm the monophasic hexagonal system of mg:PbI2,and no additional impurity peaks are *** scherrer formula is used to determine sizes of crystallites to be in the range of 47-52 ***/sEm e-mapping analyses confirm the incorporation of mg in PbI2 matrix and its uniform distribution throughout the *** hexagonal nanosheet-and nanoplate-like morphologies are detected in sEm images for pure and mg-doped *** optical band gap of nanostructures is obtained from Tauc’s relation to be in the range 3.0-3.25 *** and electrical properties are found in significant enhancement as mg doping in PbI2 matrix,also the conduction mechanism is discussed.

Experimental study of the Temperature Distribution of solar Collector Pavement

Black asphalt road have excellent properties to collect the solar radiation and good use of asphalt absorb solar energy is a new energy technology. Asphalt is a sticky plastic material,its modulus and strength will change with temperature and the actual bearing capacity of pavement structure will change as well. A new method was used to evaluate the temperature change of asphalt pavement. By simulate solar radiation on asphalt sample to study the change of the temperature field. The temperature distribution of the asphalt concrete under the same light radiation and circulating water was also studied. The results indicate that this method can be a good simulation of solar collectors on the surface temperature field.

Towards high degree of c-axis orientation in mgB_(2) bulks

The paper presents fabrication and characterization of spark plasma sintered textured(001) mgB_(2)with a record degree of orientation of about 40% and 16% by high-energy ultra-sonication and slip casting in high magnetic field(12 T) and 0 T magnetic field, *** characterization was performed by X-ray diffraction, and electron microscopy. The analysis revealed unexpected preferred orientation also in the mgO secondary phase due to the epitaxial growth of(111) mgO on(001) mgB_(2). The influence of oriented microstructure on the superconducting characteristics expressed by critical current density(J_(c)), irreversibility field(H_(irr)), and on the pinning properties were assessed. High anisotropy versus sample orientation in applied magnetic field, H, was observed for J_(c), Hirr, pinning activation energy(U^(*))extracted from relaxation measurements. The zero-field critical current, J_(c0)and F_(p),maxare weakly or not dependent on the direction of H,while the other indicated parameters are significantly influenced. Results enable control of superconducting parameters by further optimization of microstructure through mgB_(2) texturing as a novel and viable strategy for development of bulk mgB2with enhanced properties when taking advantage of its anisotropy.
