This study explores the effects of electro-magneto-hydrodynamics,Hall currents,and convective and slip boundary conditions on the peristaltic propulsion of nanofluids(considered as couple stress nanofluids)through porous symmetric *** phenomena of energy and mass transfer are considered under thermal radiation and heat source/*** governing equations are modeled and non-dimensionalized under appropriate dimensionless *** resulting system is solved numerically with mATHEmATICA(with an in-built function,namely the Runge-Kutta scheme).Graphical results are presented for various fluid flow quantities,such as the velocity,the nanoparticle temperature,the nanoparticle concentration,the skin friction,the nanoparticle heat transfer coefficient,the nanoparticle concentration coefficient,and the trapping *** results indicate that the nanoparticle heat transfer coefficient is enhanced for the larger values of thermophoresis ***,an intriguing phenomenon is observed in trapping:the trapped bolus is expanded with an increase in the Hartmann ***,the bolus size decreases with the increasing values of both the Darcy number and the electroosmotic parameter.

The deep learning models are identified as having a significant impact on various *** same can be adapted to the problem of brain tumor ***,several deep learning models are presented earlier,but they need better classification *** efficient multi-Feature Approximation Based Convolution Neural Network(CNN)model(mFACNN)is proposed to handle this *** method reads the input 3D magnetic Resonance Imaging(mRI)images and applies Gabor filters at multiple *** noise-removed image has been equalized for its quality by using histogram ***,the features like white mass,grey mass,texture,and shape are extracted from the *** features are trained with deep learning Convolution Neural Network(CNN).The network has been designed with a single convolution layer towards dimensionality *** texture features obtained from the brain image have been transformed into a multi-dimensional feature matrix,which has been transformed into a single-dimensional feature vector at the convolution *** neurons of the intermediate layer are designed to measure White mass Texture Support(WmTS),Graymass Texture Support(GmTS),Whitemass Covariance Support(WmCS),Graymass Covariance Support(GmCS),and Class Texture Adhesive Support(CTAS).In the test phase,the neurons at the intermediate layer compute the support as mentioned above values towards various classes of *** on that,the method adds a multi-Variate Feature Similarity measure(mVFSm).Based on the importance ofmVFSm,the process finds the class of brain image given and produces an efficient result.

Sodium-ion batteries(NIBs)are a front-runner among the alternative battery technologies suggested for substituting the state-ofthe-art lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).The specific energy of Na-ion batteries is significantly lower than that of LIBs,which is mainly due to the lower operating potentials and higher molecular weight of sodium insertion cathode *** compete with the high energy density of LIBs,high voltage cathode materials are required for *** we report a theoretical investigation on weberitetype sodium metal fluorides(SmFs),a new class of high voltage and high energy density materials which are so far unexplored as cathode materials for *** weberite structure type is highly favorable for sodium-containing transition metal fluorides,with a large variety of transition metal combinations(m,m’)adopting the corresponding Na_(2)mm’F_(7) structure.A series of known and hypothetical compounds with weberite-type structure were computationally investigated to evaluate their potential as cathode materials for ***-type SmFs show two-dimensional pathways for Na^(+)diffusion with surprisingly low activation *** high energy density combined with low diffusion barriers for Na+makes this type of compounds promising candidates for cathode materials in NIBs.

Conventional power grids across the globe are reforming to smart power grids with cutting edge technologies in real time monitoring and control methods. Advanced real time monitoring is facilitated by incorpor- ating synchrophasor measurement units such as phasor measurement units （PmUs） to the power grid monitoring system. Several physical and economic constraints limit the deployment of PmUs in smart power grids. This paper proposes a pragmatic multi-stage simulated annealing （PmSSA） methodology for finding the optimal locations in the smart power grid for installing PmUs in conjunction with existing conventional measurement units （CmUs） to achieve a complete observability of the grid. The proposed PmSSA is much faster than the conventional simulated annealing （SA） approach as it utilizes controlled uphill and downhill movements during various stages of optimiza- tion. moreover, the method of integrating practical phasor measurement unit （PmU） placement conditions like PmU channel limits and redundant placement can be easily handled. The efficacy of the proposed methodology has been validated through simulation studies in IEEE standard bus systems and practical regional Indian power grids.

This article deals with boundary layer analysis of magnetohydrodynamics on an unsteady chemically reactive micropolar rotating fluid flow past a semi-infinite vertical plate with been developed under Boussinesq *** governing partial differential equations are transformed into a set of coupled partial differential equations using suitable dimensionless *** resultant equations are solved numerically using variational finite element method.A parametric study illustrating the influence of different pertinent parameters is performed and the numerical results for translational velocity,microrotation velocity,temperature and concentration distributions near the boundary layers are discussed and presented graphically for the parametric ***,the skin-friction,wall couple stress,surface heat transfer and mass transfer rate dependency on the emerging thermo-physical parameters are also *** finite element code is benchmarked with the results reported in the literature to check the validity and accuracy under some limiting cases and excellent agreement with published solutions is achieved.

Prevention of hepatotoxicity due to anti tuberculosis treatment: A novel integrative approach

AIm： To evaluate the ability of Curcuma Ionga （CL） and Tinospora cordifolia （TC） formulation to prevent anti-tuberculosis （TB） treatment （ATT） induced hepatotoxicity. mETHODS： Patients with active TB diagnosis were randomized to a drug control group and a trial group on drugs plus an herbal formulation. Isoniazid, rifampicin, pyrazinamide and ethambutol for first 2 mo followed by continuation phase therapy excluding Pyrazinamide for 4 mo comprised the anti-tuberculous treatment. Curcumin enriched （25%） CL and a hydro-ethanolic extract enriched （50%） TC 1 g each divided in two doses comprised the herbal adjuvant. Hemogram, bilirubin and liver enzymes were tested initially and monthly till the end of study to evaluate the result. RESULTS： Incidence and severity of hepatotoxicity was significantly lower in trial group （incidence： 27/192 vs 2/316, P 〈 0.0001）. mean aspartate transaminase （AST）（195.93 ± 108.74 vs 85 ± 4.24, P 〈 0.0001）, alanine transaminase （ALT）（75.74 ± 26.54 vs 41 ± 1.41, P 〈 0.0001） and serum bilirubin （5.4 ±3.38 vs 1.5 ±0.42, P 〈 0.0001）. A lesser sputum positivity ratio at the end of 4 wk （10/67 vs 4/137, P = 0.0068） and decreased incidence of poorly resolved parenchymal lesion at the end of the treatment （9/152 vs 2/278, P = 0.0037） was observed. Improved patient compliance was indicated by nil drop-out in trial vs 10/192 in control group （P 〈 0.0001）. CONCLUSION： The herbal formulation prevented hepatotoxicity significantly and improved the disease outcome as well as patient compliance without any toxicity or side effects.

The bacterium Rhodococcus erythropolis mI2 uses 4,4´-dithiodibutyric acid(DTDB)as carbon source to synthesize polythioesters(PTE).The first step for the production of PTE using DTDB is catalyzed by an NADH:flavin oxidoreductase(nox)as it was previously shown in our laboratory,and the second step is catabolized by a putative luciferase-like monooxygenase(Llm).In the current study,experiments were carried out to identify the function of ***,the llm gene,which encodes for the Llm protein,was amplified from the genomic DNA of mI2 using polymerase chain reaction and expressed in Escherichia coli BL21 *** purification was done using His Spin Trap affinity *** assay was carried out using the purified protein and p-coumaric acid as substrate giving a specific activity of 1.6 U/mg protein for the purified *** responsible gene(llm)was deleted in the genome of mI2,and a single deletion mutant was subsequently ***,growth of the wild-type strain(mI2)and the mutant strain(mI2Δllm)were compared using DTDB or succinate as carbon *** the wild type was successfully grown with DTDB or succinate,the llm-negative mutant exhibited low grow with DTDB although it grows very well with succinate.
