With an excellent power conversion efficiency of 25.7%,closer to the Shockley–Queisser limit,perovskite solar cells(PSCs)have become a strong candidate for a next-generation energy ***,the lack of stability and reliability in PSCs remained challenging for ***,such as interfacial and structural engineering,have a more critical influence on enhanced ***,two-dimensional materials,have emerged as promising materials in solar cell applications due to their metallic electrical conductivity,high carrier mobility,excellent optical transparency,wide tunable work function,and superior mechanical *** to different choices of transition elements and surface-terminating functional groups,mXenes possess the feature of tuning the work function,which is an essential metric for band energy alignment between the absorber layer and the charge transport layers for charge carrier extraction and collection in ***,adopting mXenes to their respective components helps reduce the interfacial recombination resistance and provides smooth charge transfer paths,leading to enhanced conductivity and operational stability of *** review paper aims to provide an overview of the applications of mXenes as components,classified according to their roles as additives(into the perovskite absorber layer,charge transport layers,and electrodes)and themselves alone or as interfacial layers,and their significant importance in PSCs in terms of device performance and ***,we discuss the present research status and future directions toward its use in PSCs.

Epoxy-based nano-composites can be ideal electromagnetic interference(EmI)-shielding materials owing to their lightness,chemical inertness,and mechanical ***,poor conductivity and brittleness of the epoxy resin are challenges for fast-growing portable and flexible EmI-shielding applications,such as smart wristband,medical cloth,aerospace,and military *** this study,we explored hybrid nanofillers of single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWCNT)/reduced graphene oxide(rGO)as conductive inks and polyester fabrics(PFs)as a substrate for flexible EmI-shielding *** highest electrical conductivity and fracture toughness of the SWCNT/rGO/PF/epoxy composites were 30.2 S m^(−1)and 38.5 mPa m^(1/2),which are~270 and 65%enhancement over those of the composites without SWCNTs,*** mechanical durability was demonstrated by stable electrical conductivity retention during 1000 cycles of bending *** EmI-shielding effectiveness of~41 dB in the X-band frequency of 8.2-12.4 GHz with a thickness of 0.6 mm was obtained with an Em absorption-dominant behavior over a 0.7 absorption *** results are attributed to the hierarchical architecture of the macroscale PF skeleton and nanoscale SWCNT/rGO networks,leading to superior EmI-shielding *** believe that this approach provides highly flexible and robust EmI-shielding composites for next-generation wearable electronic devices.

The conversion efficiency of energy-harvesting devices can be increased by utilizing hot-carriers(HCs).However,due to ultrafast carrier-carrier scattering and the lack of carrier injection dynamics,HC-based devices have low *** the present work,we report the effective utilization of HCs at the nanoscale and their transfer dynamics from a non-noble metal to a metal oxide interface by means of real-space photocurrent mapping by using local probe techniques and conducting femtosecond transient absorption(TA)*** photocurrent maps obtained under white light unambiguously show that the HCs are injected into the metal oxide layer from the TiN layer,as also confirmed by conductive atomic force *** addition,the increased photocurrent in the bilayer structure indicates the injection of HCs from both layers due to the broadband absorption efficiency of TiN layer,passivation of the surface states by the top TiN layer,and smaller barrier height of the ***,electrostatic force microscopy and Kelvin probe force microscopy provide direct evidence of charge injection from TiN to the moO_(x)film at the *** TA absorption spectra show a strong photo-bleaching signal over wide spectral range and ultrafast decaying behavior at the picosecond time scale,which indicate efficient electron transfer from TiN to moO_(x).Thus,our simple and effective approach can facilitate HC collection under white light,thereby achieving high conversion efficiency for optoelectronic devices.

In this study the partially divorced eutectic microstructure ofα-mg andβ-mg17Al12was investigated by electron backscatter diffraction,transmission electron microscopy,and phase-field modeling in hypoeutectic mg-Al *** orientation relationships between the individual eutecticαgrains,eutecticβphase,and primaryαgrains were *** the amount of eutectic morphology is primarily determined by the Al content,the in-depth microstructure analyses and the phase-field simulation suggest non-interactive nucleation and growth of eutecticαphase in theβphase grown on the interdendritic primaryα***,phase-field simulations showed a preferred nucleation sequence where theβphase nucleates first and subsequently triggers the nucleation of eutecticαphase at the movingβphase solidification front,which supports the microstructural analysis results.

The extrudability,microstructural characteristics,and tensile properties of the mg–5Bi–3Al(BA53)alloy are investigated herein by comparing them with those of a commercial mg–8Al–0.5 Zn(AZ80)*** AZ80 is extruded at 400℃,severe hot cracking occurs at exit speeds of 4.5 m/min or *** contrast,BA53 is successfully extruded without any surface cracking at 400℃ and at high exit speeds of 21–40 m/*** extruded at 3 m/min(AZ80–3)and 40 m/min(BA53–40),both AZ80 and BA53 exhibited completely recrystallized microstructures with abasal ***,BA53–40 has a coarser grain structure owing to grain growth promoted by the high temperature in the deformation ***80–3 contains a continuous network of mg_(17)Al_(12) particles along the grain boundaries,which form via static precipitation during natural air-cooling after the material exits the extrusion ***53–40 contains coarse mg_(3)Bi_(2) particles aligned parallel to the extrusion direction along with numerous uniformly distributed fine mg_(3)Bi_(2) ***80–3 has higher tensile strength than BA53–40 because the relatively finer grains and larger number of solute atoms in AZ80–3 result in stronger grain-boundary and solid-solution hardening effects,*** BA53 is extruded at a high temperature and extrusion speed of 400℃ and 40 m/min,respectively,the extruded material has a high tensile yield strength of 188 *** can be primarily attributed to the large particle hardening effect resulting from the numerous fine mg_(3)Bi_(2) particles.

Recently,a number of studies reported that casein was composed of various multifunctional bioactive peptides such as casein phosphopeptide andβ-casochemotide-1 that bind calcium ions and induce macrophage chemotaxis,which is crucial for bone homeostasis and bone fracture repair by cytokines secreted in the *** hypothesized that the effects of the multifunctional biopeptides in casein would contribute to improving bone ***,we designed a tissue engineering platform that consisted of casein and polyvinyl alcohol,which was a physical-crosslinked scaffold(milk-derived protein;mDP),via simple freeze-thaw cycles and performed surface modification using 3,4-dihydroxy-L-phenylalanine(DOPA),a mussel adhesive protein,for immobilizing adhesive proteins and cytokines for recruiting cells in vivo(mDP-DOPA).Both the mDP and mDP-DOPA groups proved indirectly contribution of macrophages migration as RAW 264.7 cells were highly migrated toward materials by contained bioactive *** implanted mDP and mDP-DOPA in a mouse calvarial defect orthotopic model and evaluated whether mDP-DOPA showed much faster mineral deposition and higher bone density than that of the no-treatment and mDP *** mDP-DOPA group showed the accumulation of host m2 macrophages and mesenchymal stem cells(mSCs)around the scaffold,whereas mDP presented mostly m1 macrophages in the early stage.

Fluoxetine(Prozac^(Tm))is the only antidepressant approved by the US Food and Drug Administration(FDA)for the treatment of major depressive disorder(mDD)in *** its considerable efficacy as a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor,the possible long-term effects of fluoxetine on brain development in children are poorly *** the current study,we aimed to delineate molecular mechanisms and protein biomarkers in the brains of juvenile rhesus macaques(macaca mulatta)one year after the discontinuation of fluoxetine treatment using proteomic and phosphoproteomic *** identified several differences in protein expression and phosphorylation in the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPFC)and cingulate cortex(CC)that correlated with impulsivity in animals,suggesting that the GABAergic synapse pathway may be affected by fluoxetine *** in combination with the identified pathways contribute to a better understanding of the mechanisms underlying the chronic effects of fluoxetine after discontinuation in children.

A stochastic approach for integrating market and technical uncertainties in economic evaluations of petroleum development

The paper presents a stochastic and economic analysis for petroleum development under uncertain market and technical environments. mean-reversion with jumps for price forecasting is used to consider market uncertainty, while various scenarios for the reservoir properties and cost are employed to consider technical uncertainty. monte Carlo simulation is carried out to obtain the feasible range of net present values and internal rates of return. The influence of stochastic parameters is examined through correlation coefficients. The stochastic approach yields more reliable evaluation and effectively investigates the characteristics of development. The integration of uncertainties and contractual terms results in an irregular tendency in the future cash flow and reveals that a larger reserve does not guarantee a greater profit. The reserve and the well rate affect the economic values whereas the parameters for price prediction don＇t. The research confirms the necessity of qualifying uncertainties for realistic decision-making at the initial stage of development.
