ASIC or FPGA implementation of a finite word-length PID controller requires a double expertise： in control system and hardware design. In this paper, we only focus on the hardware side of the problem. We show how to design configurable fixed-point PIDs to satisfy applications requiring minimal power consumption, or high control-rate, or both together. As multiply operation is the engine of PID, we experienced three algorithms： Booth, modified Booth, and a new recursive multi-bit multiplication algorithm. This later enables the construction of finely grained PID structures with bit-level and unit-time precision. Such a feature permits to tailor the PID to the desired performance and power budget. All PIDs are implemented at register-transfer4evel （RTL） level as technology-independent reusable IP-cores. They are reconfigurable according to two compilemtime constants： set-point word-length and latency. To make PID design easily reproducible, all necessary implementation details are provided and discussed.

The main purpose of the present paper is to explore hypersurface homogenous space time in Brans Dicke theory of gravitation in terms of the dark energy source. To obtain solution of the field equation, we have taken into account the relation between φ and the average scale factor a. The volumetric expansions are considered to get deterministic solutions. Physical properties of the models are also discussed in detail.

The last decade shows an explosion of using social media,which raises several challenges related to the security of personal files including *** challenges include modifying,illegal copying,identity fraud,copyright protection and ownership of *** digital watermarking techniques embed digital information inside another digital information without affecting the visual quality for security *** this paper,we propose a hybrid digital watermarking and image processing approach to improve the image security ***,variants of the widely used Least-Significant Bit(LSB)watermarking technique are merged with a blob detection algorithm to embed information into the boundary pixels of the largest blob of a digital *** proposed algorithms are tested using several experiments and techniques,which are followed by uploading the watermarked images into a social media site to evaluate the probability of extracting the embedding *** results show that the proposed approaches outperform the traditional LSB algorithm in terms of time,evaluation criteria and the percentage of pixels that have changed.

Background Presently, approaches for the early treatment of pathological anxiety in patients with chronic non-communicable diseases are lacking, thus delaying the initiation of symptom management at the early onset of the illness. Proactive psychological and psychiatric support, to alleviate subclinical symptoms of anxiety and to improve the quality of life in patients with chronic non-communicable diseases, is a promising candidate for the role of such *** To investigate and determine the effectiveness of proactive psychological and psychiatric support for alleviating subclinical symptoms of anxiety and improving quality of life, in patients with chronic non-communicable *** The study design was a monocentric randomised controlled trial with parallel groups. The study, involving 193 inpatients with chronic non-communicable diseases, complied with the ethical and deontological norms in accordance with the principles set out in the Declaration of Helsinki. Instruments used in the study included the Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAm-A) to assess subclinical symptoms, the Scale of Somatic Symptoms and the Chaban Quality of Life Scale. Block randomisation was used to randomise patients to a 2-month-long study group with a proactive counselling psychiatry model care or a control group with standard regulated treatment for chronic non-communicable diseases. The allocation ratio was 1.15:1 owing to the expectancy of a higher percentage of dropout in the intervention *** After 60 days of treatment (T2), there was a statistically significant difference in all clinical parameters between the study and control groups. AIm： To investigate ASCA production over time in CD and murine colitis in order to further our understanding of their etiology. mATERIALS AND mETHODS： Sixty-six CD patients were compared to ulcerative colitis （UC） and irritable bowel syndrome patients with respect to ASCA production as measured by ELISA. ASCA IgG or IgA positivity as well as change in titers over a period of up to 3 years （△tgG/A） was correlated with clinical parameters such as CD activity index （CDm） and C-reactive protein levels （CRP）. moreover, two murine models of colitis （DSS and IL-10 knock out） were compared to control animals with respect to ASCA titers after oral yeast exposure. RESULTS： ASCA IgG and IgA titers are stable over time in CD and non-CD patients. Fistular disease was associated with a higher rate of ASCA IgA positivity （P = 0.014）. Ileal disease was found to have a significant influence on the △tgG of ASCA （P = 0.032）. There was no correlation found between ASCA positivity or △tgG/A and clinical parameters of CD： CDAI and CRP. In mice, neither healthy animals nor animals with DSS-induced or spontaneous colitis exhibited a marked increase in ASCA titers after high-dose yeast exposure. On the other hand, mice immunized intraperitoneally with mannan plus adjuvant showed a marked and significant increase in ASCA titers compared to adjuvant-only immunized controls （P = 0.014）. CONCLUSION： The propensity to produce ASCA in a subgroup of CD patients is largely genetically predetermined as evidenced by their stability and lack of correlation with clinical disease activity parameters. Furthermore, in animal models of colitis, mere oral exposure of mice to yeast does not lead to the induction of marked ASCA titers irrespective of concomitant colonic inflammation. Hence, environment may play only a minor role in inducing ASCA.

AIm： To identify the bacterial flora in conditions such as Barrett＇s esophagus and reflux esophagitis to determine if they are similar to normal esophageal flora. mETHODS： Using broad-range 16S rDNA PCR, esophageal biopsies were examined from 24 patients [9 with normal esophageal mucosa, 12 with gastroesophageal reflux disease （GERD）, and 3 with Barrett＇s esophagus]. Two separate broad-range PCR reactions were performed for each patient, and the resulting products were cloned. In one patient with Barrett＇s esophagus, 99 PCR clones were analyzed. RESULTS： Two separate clones were recovered from each patient （total = 48）, representing 24 different species, with 14 species homologous to known bacteria, 5 homologous to unidentified bacteria, and 5 were not homologous （〈97% identity） to any known bacterial 16S rDNA sequences. Seventeen species were found in the reflux esophagitis patients, 5 in the Barrett＇s esophagus patients, and 10 in normal esophagus patients. Further analysis concentrating on a single biopsy from an individual with Barrett＇s esophagus revealed the presence of 21 distinct bacterial species. members of four phyla were represented, including Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes, Proteobacteria, and Actinobacteria. microscopic examination of each biopsy demonstrated bacteria in intimate association with the distal esophageal epithelium, suggesting that the presence of these bacteria is not transitory. CONCLUSION： These findings provide evidence for a complex, residential bacterial population in esophageal reflux-related disorders. While much of this biota is present in the normal esophagus, more detailed comparisons may help identify potential disease associations.

The nymphal biology of a population of Torleya major （Klapalek） in southem Iberian Peninsula was studied. An atypical life cycle pattern is described, with eggs hatching in August producing a fast-developing cohort with adults emerging in autumn and a second slow-developing cohort with adults emerging in spring of the following year. Nymphal growth occurred primarily in summer-autumn （in the first cohort） and in spring （in the second）. The origin of such a life history is discussed. Nymphs were collector-gatherers, consuming mainly detritus. Although ontogenetic shifts on the use of trophic resources were detected, similar food was utilized during the months when both cohorts cohabited, eliminating the possibility that the rapid growth of the first cohort could be related to the utilization of different food resources.
