The present study is concerned with the computational fluid dynamics(CFD)simulation of turbulent dispersion of immiscible liquids,namely,water–silicone oil and water–benzene through Kenics static mixers using the Eulerian–Eulerian and Eulerian–Lagrangian approaches of the ANSYS Fluent 16.0 *** study the droplet size distribution(DSD),the Eulerian formulation incorporating a population balance model(PBm)was *** the Eulerian–Lagrangian approach,a discrete phase model(DPm)in conjunction with the Eulerian approach for continuous phase simulation was used to predict the residence time distribution(RTD)of *** both approaches,a shear stress transport(SST)k-ωturbulence model was *** validation purposes,the simulated results were compared with the experimental data and theoretical values for the Fanning friction factor,Sauter mean diameter and the mean residence *** reliability of the computational model was further assessed by comparing the results with the available empirical correlations for Fanning friction factor and Sauter mean *** addition,the influence of important geometrical and operational parameters,including the number of mixing elements and Weber number,was *** was found that the proposed models are capable of predicting the performance of the Kenics static mixer reasonably well.

Due to its mechanical properties and ease of use, vinyl ester resin is enjoying increasing consideration. This resin normally is produced by reaction between epoxy resin and unsaturated carboxylic acid. In the present study, bis-phenol A based epoxy resin and methacrylic acid was used to produce vinyl ester resin. The reaction was conducted under both stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric conditions in the presence of triphenylphosphine as catalyst. The stoichiometric and non-stoichiometric experiments were conducted at 95, 100, 105 and 110℃ and at 90 and 95℃, respectively. The first order rate equation and mechanism based rate equation were examined. Parameters are evaluated by least square method. A comparison of mechanism based rate equation and experimental data show an excellent agreement. Finally, Arrhenius equation and activation energy were presented.

Surgah Formation at male-kuh well section with 82 meters thickness has been studied at Pol-e-Dokhtar area. Surgah Formation at mentioned section was composed of limestone and shaly limestone. The lower and upper contacts of studied formation with Sarvak and Ilam formations are conformed. Based planktonic foraminifera study 37 species belonging to 10 genera in frame of two planktonic foraminiferal biozones were identified respectively as below: 1) Dicarinella concavata Interval Zone;2) Dicarinella asymetrica Total Range Zone. Finally, based on recent investigation have been detected middle Turonian-Late Santonian age for studied section. According to (Robaszynski and Caron 1979), the first occurrence of Dicarinella primitiva has been shown base of the Coniacian stage. The first occurrence of Di. primitiva was placed under the Turonian-Coniacian boundary. Robaszynski and Caron 1995 recorded the first occurrence of Dicarinella primitiva and Dicarinella concavata were simultaneous and assigned to late Turonian which correlated with ammonite’s species Subprionocyclus neptuni. In the correlation between ammonite and Dicarinella primitiva at Tethyan realm first occurrence of Di. primitiva was close to the middle-Late Turonian sub stage. The base of Coniacian stage was identified based on the FODs of Archaeoglobigerina cretacea and Dicarinella concavata from planktonic foraminifera with FOD of Cremnoceramus walterdorfensis walterdorfensis from inoceramid group, while the base of Santonian stage recorded using LOD of Dicarinella primitiva, Whiteinellids group with FODs of Dicarinella asymetrica and Inoceramus aff. vistulensis (inoceramid species).

Biodegradable polymeric materials are the most common carriers for use in drug delivery systems. With this trend, newer drug delivery systems using targeted and controlled release polymeric nanoparticles (NPs) are being developed to manipulate their navigation in complex in vivo environment. However, a clear understanding of the interactions between biological systems and these nanoparticulates is still unexplored. Different studies have been performed to correlate the physicochemical properties of polymeric NPs with the biological responses. Size and surface charge are the two fundamental physicochemical properties that provide a key direction to design an effective NP formulation. In this critical review, our goal is to provide a brief overview on the influences of size and surface charge of different polymeric NPs in vitro and to highlight the challenges involved with in vivo trials.
