Investigation of the transformation of organic matter of carbonate deposits of the semiluksky-mendymsky horizon under hydrothermal conditions

The paper presents the results of studies on the transformation of the organic matter of siliceous-clayey carbonate rocks of the semiluksko-mendymsky horizon of the Romashkino oil field in a hydrothermal fluid for an hour(with a water-to-rock ratio of 33)at 340℃and 380℃and pressu res of 17 and 20 *** a result of hydrothermal treatment,at 340℃and 17 mPa,based on nitrogen porosimetry and electron microscopy data,transformations of rock-forming minerals in the rock are *** lead to an increase in the volume and average diameter of mesopores in it and the formation of micropores,as well,which improve its filtration *** the same time,the amount of kerogen in the composition of the organic matter decreases and the yield of the petroleum hydrocarbon extract increases,in which,according to the sARA analysis,the content of asphaltenes increases and the content of resins,aromatic and saturated hydrocarbons *** the composition of aroatic hydrocarbons,the proportion of a lkyltri methyl benzenes and dibenzothiophenes increases,phenanthrene homologues appear,and in the composition of saturated hydrocarbons,the amount of iso-structure alkanes decreases relative to the content of linear *** the temperature and pressure of the hydrothermal fluid to 380℃and 20 mPa increases the degree of kerogen conversion from 12.4%to 23.6%.At the same time,changes occurring in the component composition of petroleum hydrocarbon extracts remains similar to the experiments carried out at 340℃and 17 mPa;the content of naphthalenes decreases,the content of dibenzothiophenes increases and C_(11)-C_(17),C_(19)-C_(22)alkyltrimethylbenzenes *** to IR spectroscopy,with increasing temperature and pressure of the hydrothermal fluid the intensity of the absorption bands of the aromatic ring,aliphatic fragments,and oxygen-containing groups increases in resins;the structural-group composition of asphaltenes changes little:aromaticity and the content of conde

The oceanic trace metals iron(Fe),nickel(Ni),copper(Cu),zinc(Zn),and cadmium(Cd)are crucial to marine phytoplankton growth and global carbon cycle,and the analysis of their stable isotopes can provide valuable insights into their biogeochemical cycles within the ***,the simultaneous isotopic analysis of multiple elements present in seawater is challenging because of their low concentrations,limited volumes of the test samples,and high salt *** this study,we present the novel method developed for the simultaneous analysis of five isotope systems by 1 l seawater *** the developed method,the NOBIAs Chelate-PA1 resin was used to extract metals from seawater,the Ag mP-1m anion-exchange resin to purify Cu,Fe,Zn,Cd,and the NOBIAs Chelate-PA1 resin to further extract Ni from the matrix ***,a multi-collector inductively coupled plasma mass spectroscope(mC-ICPms)was employed for the isotopic measurements using a doublespike technique or sample-standard bracketing combined with internal *** method exhibited low total procedural blanks(0.04 pg,0.04 pg,0.21 pg,0.15 pg,and 3 pg for Ni,Cu,Fe,Zn,and Cd,respectively)and high extraction efficiencies(100.5%±0.3%,100.2%±0.5%,97.8%±1.4%,99.9%±0.8%,and 100.1%±0.2%for Ni,Cu,Fe,Zn,and Cd,respectively).The external errors and external precisions of this method could be considered *** proposed method was further tested on the seawater samples obtained from the whole vertical profile of a water column during the Chinese geOTRACEs gP09 cruise in the Northwest Pacific,and the results showed good agreement with previous related *** innovative method will contribute to the advancement of isotope research and enhance our understanding of the marine biogeochemical cycling of Fe,Ni,Cu,Zn,and Cd.

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are promising materials for thermometers based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect the Nd^(3+)emission,which has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(samples doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 mol%,0.5 mol%,2.0 mol%,and 4.0 mol%)in fluorescence thermometers,in the temperature range from 299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of the FIR parameters on the Nd^(3+)concentration,due to changes in the emission band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)emissions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for samples doped with higher amounts of Nd^(3+).The maximum relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,which is the highest value among the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

lightweight,strong and High Heat-Resistant Poly(lactide acid)Foams via microcellular Injection molding with self-Assembly Nucleating Agent

Poly(lactide acid)(PlA)foams have shown considerable promise as eco-friendly alternatives to nondegradable plastic foams,such as polystyrene(Ps)***,PlA foam typically suffers from low heat-resistance and poor cellular structure stemming from its inherent slow crystallization rate and low melt *** this study,a high-performance PlA foam with well-defined cell morphology,exceptional strength and enhanced heat-resistance was successfully fabricated via a core-back microcellular injection molding(mIm)*** scanning calorimetry(DsC)results revealed that the added hydrazine-based nucleating agent(HNA)significantly increased the crystallization temperature and accelerated the crystallization process of ***,the addition of a 1.5 wt%of HNA led to a significant reduction in PlA’s cell size,from 43.5µm to 2.87µm,and a remarkable increase in cell density,from 1.08×10^(7)cells/cm^(3)to 2.15×10^(10)cells/cm^(3).This enhancement resulted in a final crystallinity of approximately 55.7%for the PlA blend foam,a marked improvement compared to the pure PlA ***,at 1.5 wt%HNA concentration,the tensile strength and tensile toughness of PlA blend foams demonstrated remarkable improvements of 136%and 463%,***,the Vicat softening temperature of PlA blend foam increased significantly to 134.8°C,whereas the pure PlA foam exhibited only about 59.7℃.These findings underscore the potential for the preparation of lightweight injection-molded PlA foam with enhanced toughness and heat-resistance,which offers a viable approach for the production of high-performance PlA foams suitable for large-scale applications.

green synthesis of Zsm-5 using silica fume and catalytic co-cracking of lignin and plastics for production of monocyclic aromatics

Zsm-5 with hierarchical pore structure was synthesized by a simple two-step hydrothermal crystallization from silica fume without using any organic ammonium *** synthesized Zsm-5 were oval shaped particles with a particle size about 2.0 μm and weak acid-dominated with proper Brønsted(B)and lewis(l)acid *** Zsm-5 was used for catalytic co-cracking of n-octane and guaiacol,lowdensity polyethylene(lDPE)and alkali lignin(Al)to enhance the production of benzene,toluene,ethylbenzene and xylene(BTEX).The most significant synergistic effect occurred at n-octane/guaiacol at 1:1 and lDPE/Al at 1:3,under the condition,the achieved BTEX selectivity were 24%and 33%(mass)higher than the calculated values(weighted average).The highest BTEX selectivity reached 88.5%,which was 3.7%and 54.2%higher than those from individual cracking lDPE and *** synthesized Zsm-5 exhibited superior catalytic performance compared to the commercial Zsm-5,indicating potential application prospect.

The mass Assembly History for galaxies with maNgA

How galaxies assemble masses through their own star formation or interaction with the external environment is still an important topic in the field of galaxy formation and *** use Value Added Catalogs with galaxy features that are spatially and temporally resolved from sloan Digital sky survey Data Release 17 to investigate the mass growth histories of early-type galaxies(ETgs)and late-type galaxies(lTgs).We find that the mass growth of ETgs is earlier than that of lTgs for massive galaxies(m_(*)>10^(10)m_⊙),while low-mass(m_(*)≤10^(10)m_⊙)ETgs have statistically similar mass assembly histories as low-mass *** stellar metallicity of all massive galaxies shows a negative gradient and basically does not change with ***,in low-mass galaxies,the stellar metallicity gradient of elliptical galaxies is negative,and the stellar metallicity gradient of lenticular and spiral galaxies evolves from positive to *** are not all in a high-density environment,but exhibit mass *** the tidal strength increases,the star formation rate of low-mass ETgs rapidly *** results support a picture where massive galaxies exhibit inside-out quenching mode,while low-mass galaxies show outside-in quenching *** effects play an important role in regulating the mass assembly histories of low-mass ETgs.

Control system design for a pressure-tube-type supercritical water-cooled nuclear reactor via a higher order sliding mode method

Prediction of the undrained shear strength of remolded soil with non-linear regression,fuzzy logic,and artificial neural network

This study aims to predict the undrained shear strength of remolded soil samples using non-linear regression analyses,fuzzy logic,and artificial neural network modeling.A total of 1306 undrained shear strength results from 230 different remolded soil test settings reported in 21 publications were collected,utilizing six different measurement *** water content,plastic limit,and liquid limit were used as input parameters for fuzzy logic and artificial neural network modeling,liquidity index or water content ratio was considered as an input parameter for non-linear regression *** non-linear regression analyses,12 different regression equations were derived for the prediction of undrained shear strength of remolded ***-Forward backpropagation and the TANsIg transfer function were used for artificial neural network modeling,while the mamdani inference system was preferred with trapezoidal and triangular membership functions for fuzzy logic *** experimental results of 914 tests were used for training of the artificial neural network models,196 for validation and 196 for *** was observed that the accuracy of the artificial neural network and fuzzy logic modeling was higher than that of the non-linear regression ***,a simple and reliable regression equation was proposed for assessments of undrained shear strength values with higher coefficients of determination.
