Effect of rare earth(Nd^(3+))metal doping on structural,morphological,optical and magnetic traits of Zn-mg nano-ferrites

Herein,we report the synthesis of Zn_(0.7)mg_(0.3)Nd_(x)Fe_(2-x)O_(4)(where,x=0,0,0,01,0,02)ferrite nanoparticles by employing the sol-gel auto-combustion *** X-ray diffraction(XRD)pattern suggests the formation of a pure cubic structure,without any impurity phase,with an Fd3m space group at room *** increasing doping amount,the crystallite size is reported as 35-41 nm,while the lattice parameters rise from 0.8381 to 0.8395 *** emission scanning electron microscopy(FESEm)images show the formation of spherical grains with agglomerated morphology in all the samples,with grain sizes ranging from 49 to 103 *** dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)and elemental mapping investigation confirm the chemical purity of all the *** transform infrared(FTIR)analysis shows the presence of two prominent peaks around 440 and 560 cm^(-1)that correspond to the octahedral and tetrahedral *** addition,the existence of five Raman active vibratio nal modes in all produced specimens again confirms the structural purity of all the *** m-H curve shows that saturation magnetization(m_(s))first increases from 14.98 to 28.22 emu/g and then decreases to 18.98emu/g with increasing doping *** is due to the A-B type super-exchange interaction for the synthesized *** variation in coercivity(H_(c))and magnetic anisotropy(K_(1))suggest the thermal stability of all the samples and can be utilized in transformers and solenoids.

Annona squamosa *** is famous for its nutritional value with a long history of medicinal benefits due to the presence of many phytochemicals,including alkaloids,diterpenes,essential oil,phytopeptides,*** studies envisaged that Annona squamosa possesses cytotoxic,diuretic,antiurolithiatic,antitumor,anti-psoriatic,antioxidant,and hepatoprotective *** plant is traditionally used for the treatment of wound infection,dysentery,seizure,tumors,fever,vomiting,parasitic infections,hypertension,thyroid,toothache,acne,heart disease,inflammation,diabetes,hair loss,dandruff,hemorrhage,maggot-infected sores,abortifacient,and ***,some chemical constituents isolated from the plant have shown specific toxic effects in human and animal models,such as acute oral toxic effects,genotoxic,neurotoxic,and ocular *** plant has diverse pharmacological actions,the seeds of this plant possess a genotoxic effect but on the contrary,the bark of the plant shows genoprotective activity.A large number of ethnobotanical studies reported the seed of this plant is used to induce abortion in humans,but a scientific study carried out in pregnant rats reported aqueous seed extract of the plant did not interfere with reproductive *** presented review summarized the traditional uses,pharmacological,and toxicological activities of the isolated compounds from this ***,some patents and commercial products related to Annona squamosa are also brought up in this article to explore its application which would attract the scientific community to search out its hidden side.

Effectiveness of lukewarm water compress on reduction of breast pain and breast engorgement among post-cesarean section mothers

Objective:The study aimed to assess the effectiveness of lukewarm water compress on breast pain and breast engorgement among post-cesarean primiparous *** and methods:This quasi-experimental posttest-only design was conducted with 60 post-cesarean section primiparous mothers between October 2018 and January 2019.A simple random sampling technique was used to allocate 30 participants to both experimental and control *** experimental group received lukewarm water compress using a sponge cloth for 20 min twice a day on the second,third,and fourth postnatal *** control group received routine hospital *** pain and engorgement were assessed using the Visual Analog Pain Scale and Breast Engorgement Assessment Scale on the third,fourth,and fifth postnatal ***:Significant differences were observed between the experimental and control groups on day 1 and day 3 in terms of breast pain and engorgement scores among post-cesarean section mothers(Plly significant differences were found between sociodemographic and breastfeeding parameters and breast pain and engorgement(P>0.05).Conclusion:lukewarm water compress is effective in reducing breast pain and engorgement in post-cesarean primiparous *** research can include randomized controlled trials to evaluate the effectiveness of different therapies in treating breast pain and engorgement.

The present paper discusses the change in entropy of spinning black holes due to change in mass for AGN black holes on the basis of the model as proposed in the case of XRBs under condition that the black holes spin with unit spinning parameter and angular momentum and this model gives slightly some different nature of the super-massive spinning black holes in AGN as specified for XRBs.

Comparative analysis of current diagnostic PCR assays in detecting pathogenic leptospira isolates from environmental samples

life style modification improves insulin resistance and liver histology in patients with non-alcoholic fatty liver disease

AIm: To study the effect of regular aerobic exercise on insulin resistance, serum aminotransferase and liver histology in nonalcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFlD) patients. mETHODS: Sixty (mean age 40.0 ± 8.5 years, 75% male) NAFlD patients were included in the study. After baseline anthropometric measurement i.e., body mass index (BmI), waist circumference (WC); all patients were advised regular aerobic exercise for 30 min/d, for at least 5 d/wk and trained to achieve around 70% of his maximal heart rate. In addition, moderately energy restricted diet was advised to patients with high BmI (> 25 kg/m 2 ). monthly follow up was done by measuring BmI, WC, aspartate aminotransferase, and alanine aminotransferase (AlT). Insulin resistance was calculated using homeostasis model assessment (HOmA) of insulin resistance (HOmA-IR) model, at baseline and after 6mo. Insulin resistance was arbitrarily considered altered when it was ≥ 2. liver biopsy was done in a section of patients at baseline and after 6 mo. RESUlTS: Seventy percent (42/60) patients were overweight or obese; 95% (57/60) had central obesity (WC > 90 cm in men, > 80 cm in women). In the 45 exercise compliant patients insulin resistance decreased from 6.4 ± 6.1 to 1.3 ± 1.0, BmI from 26.7 ± 3.3 kg/m 2 to 25.0 ± 3.3 kg/m 2 , WC from 95.7 ± 8.9 cm to 90.8 ± 7.3 cm and AlT from 84.8 ± 43.5 U/l to 41.3 ± 18.2 U/l (P mpliant patient's insulin resistance, BmI, WC and AlT did not show significant change at 6 mo follow up. Six of 8 patients in compliant group on repeat liver biopsy showed significant change in steatosis and necroinflammation. Nonalcoholic steatohepatitis scores improved form 5.3 ± 1.5 to 3.35 ± 1.5. The decline in insulin resistance correlated with decline in AlT (P = 0.01, r s = 0.90) and liver histology (P = 0.03, r s = 0.73). CONClUSION: life style modification improves insulin resistance resulting in improvement in AlT and liver histology in NAFlD patients.

Expression of SAmDC Gene for Enhancing the Shelf life for Improvement of Fruit Quality Using Biotechnological Approaches into litchi (litchi chinensis Sonn.) Cultivars

Polyamines play an important role in plant response to abiotic stress. S-adenosyl-1-methionine decarboxylase (SAmDC) is one of the key regulatory enzymes in the biosynthesis of polyamines. In order to better understand the effect of regulation of polyamine biosynthesis on the shelf life improvement of litchi fruit, SAmDC cDNA isolated from Datura stramonium cloned in pBI121 was introduced into litchi genome by means of Agrobacterium tumefaciens through zygote disc transformation. Transgene and its expression are confirmed by Southern and Northern blot analyses, respectively. Transgenic plants expressing Datura SAmDC produced 1.7- to 2.4-fold higher levels of spermidine and spermine than wildtype plants under normal environmental condition, which indicated that the transgenic litchi presented an enhanced polyamines synthesis compared to wildtype plants. Our results demonstrated clearly that increasing polyamine biosynthesis in plants may be a means of creating improved fruit shelf life germplasm.

Change in mass of Spinning Black Holes w.r.t. the Angular momentum

mahto et al. have shown δS≥0 and m2=a*J by using the first law of the black hole mechanics in the vacuum and Einstein mass-energy equivalence relation specially for spinning black holes. In the present paper, this work is extended to propose a model for the change in mass of the spinning black holes due to corresponding change in the angular momentum for maximum & half spin parameter of black holes (a* = 1 & 1/2) and calculated their values for different test black holes in XRBs and AGN. We have also shown that the change in mass of the spinning black holes due to corresponding change in the angular momentum for maximum spinning rate of black holes (a* = 1) is double to that of the spinning black holes having spinning parameter (a* = 1/2).

Synthetic Seed Preparation, Germination and Plantlet Regeneration of litchi (litchi chinensis Sonn.)

litchi chinensis sonn.) ranks second after mango amongst the most important fruit crops cultivated worldwide. litchi is a very valuable crop throughout the world because it is a table fruit and wines are also produced from it. The existing cultivars are highly polyploidy and heterozygous in nature. It is propagated through air layering and marcottage methods and storability is very low. Synthetic seeds can be stored for a long time and its genetic constitution could remain the same. For germplasm maintenance and clonal propagation, synthetic seeds can be used. Somatic embryogenesis has been reported from anther or embryogenic suspension culture in various species of litchi. Regeneration via organogenesis and somatic embryogenesis from zygotic embryos has also been reported in certain species. Developing a methodology for getting somatic embryogenesis with a high frequency from zygotic embryos which is available once in a year, would be particularly useful for genetic improvement of litchi. Cotyledonary stage somatic embryos developed from zygotic embryos were encapsulated in 2% alginate gel. The encapsulated somatic embryos (ESEs) germinated successfully on 0.7% agar medium containing 3% sucrose concentration in NN basal medium (half strength of major and minor salts) with 1 mg·l-1 of gibbrellic acid. Percentage germination and plantlet development for ESEs was higher than that of non encapsulated embryos (NSEs). In comparison to different hormones, gibberellic acid has a significant influence on the germination rate of ESEs after one week of dehydration was seen maximum at 9% sucrose and abscisic acid (1 mg·l-1) in half strength of major and minor salts in Nitsch and Nitsch medium resulting in extended storage up to 90 days without loss in germination potential and capability to regenerate into plantlets. Normally developed plantlets regenerated from ESEs were successfully adapted to soil to obtain a full grown plant.
