Central nucleus-nucleus collisions at relativistic energies with a new method based on Random matrix Theory

Using the method based on Random matrix Theory （RmT）, the results for the nearest-neighbor distributions obtained from the experimental data on ^12C-C collisions at 4.2 AGeV/c have been discussed and compared with the simulated data on ^12C-C collisions at 4.2 AGeV/c produced with the aid of the Dubna Cascade model. The results show that the correlation of secondary particles decreases with an increasing number of charged particles Nch. These observed changes in the nearest-neighbor distributions of charged particles could be associated with the centrality variation of the collisions.

The pseudorapidity spectra of fast particles （with β 〉 0.7） produced in Au （at 11.6 A GeV） and Pb （at 158 A GeV） induced collisions with emulsion （Em） nuclei contain some visual plateaus and shoulders. The plateau is wider for Pb＋Em reactions compared with the Au＋Em ones. The existence of a plateau is expected for parton models. The Fourier transformation and maximum entropy methods were used to get additional information about the plateaus. The dependence of the plateaus on the centrality of the collisions was also studied using the number of g-particles to fix centrality. It shows that the maximum entropy method could confirm the existence of the plateau and the shoulder on distributions.

This article presents a mathematical model addressing a scenario involving a hybrid nanofluid flow between two infinite parallel plates. One plate remains stationary, while the other moves downward at a squeezing velocity. The space between these plates contains a Darcy-Forchheimer porous medium. A mixture of water-based fluid with gold(Au) and silicon dioxide(Si O2) nanoparticles is formulated. In contrast to the conventional Fourier's heat flux equation, this study employs the Cattaneo-Christov heat flux equation. A uniform magnetic field is applied perpendicular to the flow direction, invoking magnetohydrodynamic(mHD) effects. Further, the model accounts for Joule heating, which is the heat generated when an electric current passes through the fluid. The problem is solved via NDSolve in mATHEmATICA. Numerical and statistical analyses are conducted to provide insights into the behavior of the nanomaterials between the parallel plates with respect to the flow, energy transport, and skin *** findings of this study have potential applications in enhancing cooling systems and optimizing thermal management strategies. It is observed that the squeezing motion generates additional pressure gradients within the fluid, which enhances the flow rate but reduces the frictional drag. Consequently, the fluid is pushed more vigorously between the plates, increasing the flow velocity. As the fluid experiences higher flow rates due to the increased squeezing effect, it spends less time in the region between the plates. The thermal relaxation, however, abruptly changes the temperature, leading to a decrease in the temperature fluctuations.

In this paper,we describe a study of charged particle yield as a function of pT for k^(*)(892)0 and phgr(1020)mesons in proton–proton(pp)and Pb–Pb collisions at√S_(NN)=2.76 TeV in the central rapidity region of|y|mportant ratio,the nuclear modification factor,to study the effects of the medium in the most central region,i.e.0%–5%*** data simulation,we used the EPOS-LHC and EPOS-1.99 *** check the validity of these models'simulations,we compared the data obtained from these monte Carlo simulation programs with ALICE experimental data for√S_(NN)=2.76 *** was concluded that the models'predictions for the phgr-meson in pp and for the most central Pb-Pb collisions disagreed with the ALICE data,and that the difference increased with *** may be connected with the essential role of collective parton behaviors which could not have been taken into account by the *** k^(*)0 mesons,both programs gave almost the same predictions,and with pT in the interval pT>3 GeV c^(−1),the predictions were very close to the experimental *** models gave higher predictions for the soft pT interval and lower predictions for the hard *** values of the RAA distributions were lower than unity and both models were very close to the ALICE *** is very interesting that the models were not able to describe the pT distributions,but they gave good predictions for their *** may possibly be due to parton collective *** observed some additional suppression of k^(*)0 at low values of pT with respect to phgr-mesons,which may be related to the role of the masses of the particles in soft *** rising trend for R_(AA)in the region from pT=10 GeV c^(−1)to 20 GeV c^(−1) observed by the ALICE experiment was absent for theФ-mesons.

This study examines the nonlinear behaviors of a clamped-clamped porous pipe made of a functionally graded material(FGm) that conveys fluids and is equipped with a retaining clip, focusing on primary resonance and subcritical dynamics. The nonlinear governing equations for the FGm pipe are derived by the extended Hamilton's principle, and subsequently discretized through the application of the Galerkin *** direct method of multi-scales is then used to solve the derived equations. A thorough analysis of various parameters, including the clip stiffness, the power-law index, the porosity, and the clip location, is conducted to gain a comprehensive understanding of the system's nonlinear dynamics. Through the analysis of the first natural frequency, the study highlights the influence of the flow velocity and the clip stiffness, while the comparisons with metallic pipes emphasize the role of FGm composition. The examination of the forced response curves reveals saddle-node bifurcations and their dependence on parameters such as the detuning parameter and the power-law index, offering valuable insights into the system's nonlinear resonant behavior. Furthermore, the frequency-response curves illustrate the hardening nonlinearities influenced by factors such as the porosity and the clip stiffness, revealing nuanced effects on the system response and resonance characteristics. This comprehensive analysis enhances the understanding of nonlinear behaviors in FGm porous pipes with a retaining clip, providing key insights for practical engineering applications in system design and optimization.

For data simulation, we used the EPOS-LHC and EPOS-1.99 models. To check the validity of these models' simulations, we compared the data obtained from these monte Carlo simulation programs with ALICE experimental data for ■=?2.76 Te V. It was concluded that the models' predictions for the ?-meson in pp and for the most central Pb-Pb collisions disagreed with the ALICE data, and that the difference increased with pT. This may be connected with the essential role of collective parton behaviors which could not have been taken into account by the models. For k*0mesons, both programs gave almost the same predictions,and with pTin the interval pT?>?3 Ge V c-1, the predictions were very close to the experimental data. Both models gave higher predictions for the soft pTinterval and lower predictions for the hard interactions. The values of the RAAdistributions were lower than unity and both models were very close to the ALICE data. It is very interesting that the models were not able to describe the pTdistributions, but they gave good predictions for their ratios. This may possibly be due to parton collective behaviors. We observed some additional suppression of k*0at low values of pT with respect to f-mesons, which may be related to the role of the masses of the particles in soft interactions. The rising trend for RAAin the region from pT=?10 Ge V c-1to 20 Ge V c-1observed by the ALICE experiment was absent for the f-mesons.

Adult neurogenesis persists after birth in the subventricular zone, with new neurons migrating to the granule cell layer and glomerular layers of the olfactory bulb, where they integrate into existing circuitry as inhibitory interneurons. The generation of these new neurons in the olfactory bulb supports both structural and functional plasticity, aiding in circuit remodeling triggered by memory and learning processes. However, the presence of these neurons, coupled with the cellular diversity within the olfactory bulb, presents an ongoing challenge in understanding its network organization and function. moreover,the continuous integration of new neurons in the olfactory bulb plays a pivotal role in regulating olfactory information processing. This adaptive process responds to changes in epithelial composition and contributes to the formation of olfactory memories by modulating cellular connectivity within the olfactory bulb and interacting intricately with higher-order brain regions. The role of adult neurogenesis in olfactory bulb functions remains a topic of debate. Nevertheless, the functionality of the olfactory bulb is intricately linked to the organization of granule cells around mitral and tufted cells. This organizational pattern significantly impacts output, network behavior, and synaptic plasticity, which are crucial for olfactory perception and memory. Additionally, this organization is further shaped by axon terminals originating from cortical and subcortical regions. Despite the crucial role of olfactory bulb in brain functions and behaviors related to olfaction, these complex and highly interconnected processes have not been comprehensively studied as a whole. Therefore, this manuscript aims to discuss our current understanding and explore how neural plasticity and olfactory neurogenesis contribute to enhancing the adaptability of the olfactory system.
