This paper is intended to source literature, identifying the adverse impacts on human health, from the pollutants released from residential burning from both fossil fuel and biomass sources. The literature sourced was ascertained through the conduction of a systematic literature review. The author assessed peer-reviewed English language articles, which had been published within the last five years. The studies reviewed indicated a clear increase in the burning of residential solid fuels. The findings suggest that residential solid fuel combustion is occurring in developed countries, primarily as a secondary source of heating during the winter months. The study concluded that similarly to bituminous coal, the domestic burning of wood also had adverse effects on human health. The intentions of Uk Climate Change Act 2008 are to achieve an 80% reduction by the year 2050 in the net carbon account from the 1990 baseline. It is recommended for countries to meet the European 2050 targets, long-term measures need to be adopted. This includes switching from residential solid fuel burning to heating methods such as oil and gas, which are necessary in improving overall air quality and public health.

对来自世界11个国家的15个小麦品种(系)( Triticum aestivum L. AABBDD, 2n = 42) 472个RFLP位点的遗传多样性进行了检测, 并进行了逐条染色体分析, 结果发现: (ⅰ) 15个品种在各条染色体上的聚类各不相同. 根据472个遗传位点遗传多样性数据, 15个品种可聚类为4类, Synthetic, Hope, Timgalen 各为一类, 其余品种为一类, 遗传距离远近恰与其所携带的小麦亲缘种染色体数目有关. (ⅱ) 普通小麦遗传多样性非常贫乏, 不同国家来源的品种相似系数高达0.8以上, 多数品种间的大多数位点无遗传多样性, 有53%的位点在供试的栽培品种中完全无多样性. (ⅲ) 以四倍体小麦(AABB)和粗山羊草(DD)为亲本的品种(系)中, 其对应的染色体上有较高的遗传多样性, 其中有49.4%的等位变异在供试栽培种中没有发现, 说明小麦的原始供体种是丰富现代栽培小麦遗传多样性的重要资源. (ⅳ) 根据遗传多样性位点及其作图位置, 可以检测到小麦栽培品种与其亲缘种杂交后代中亲缘种的染色体(片段). (ⅴ) 在小麦的A, B, D 3个基因组中, B基因组的遗传多样性最高, D基因组最差(尤以1D最甚), A基因组居中. (ⅵ) 中国古老栽培品种中国春(CS)与国外栽培品种主要差异表现在染色体1B, 3B和5A上, 并发现了12个中国春的特异等位变异. 认为现代栽培小?

A high-density, low-temperature plasma can be obtained during the compression phase in inertial confinement fusion. When high density and low temperature are reached in the plasma in the fast ignition approach, the plasma electrons can be degenerate. The electronic stopping of a slow ion is smaller than that given by the classical formula, because some transitions between the electron states are forbidden. In this case, bremsstrahlung emission is strongly sup- pressed and the ignition temperature becomes lower than that in classical plasma. The equations that predict the behavior of these plasmas are different from the classical ones, and this is the main factor in the process of decreasing the ignition temperature of the plasma. In this work, physical conditions of ignition are studied by calculating the effect of radiation loss on the ignition temperature for a simulated fuel pellet, （D/Tx/3Hey）, in degenerate plasma. In fast ignition, the energy needed for obtaining high densities is minimized and the gain can be increased considerably.

At Shanghai Jiao Tong University（SJTU） we have established a research laboratory for advanced acceleration research based on high-power lasers and plasma technologies. In a primary experiment based on the laser wakefield acceleration（LWFA） scheme, multi-hundred me V electron beams of reasonable quality are generated using 20–40 TW, 30 femtosecond laser pulses interacting independently with helium, neon, nitrogen and argon gas jet targets. The laser-plasma interaction conditions are optimized for stabilizing the electron beam generation from each type of gas. The electron beam pointing angle stability and divergence angle as well as the energy spectra from each gas jet are measured and compared.

The flow and mixing behavior of two miscible liquids has been studied in an innovative static mixer by using CFD,with Reynolds numbers ranging from 20 to *** performance of the new mixer is compared with those of kenics,SmX,and komax static *** pressure drop ratio(Z-factor),coefficient of variation(CoV),and extensional efficiency(α)features have been used to evaluate power consumption,distributive mixing,and dispersive mixing performances,respectively,in all *** model is firstly validated based on experimental data measured for the pressure drop ratio and the coefficient of *** results are consistent with measured data and those obtained by available correlations in the *** new mixer shows a superior mixing performance compared to the other mixers.

Two theoretical criteria represented by katgerman, and Clyne and Davies for prognosticating hot tearing sensitivity were compared. Both unrefined and grain-refined samples of Al2024 alloy were solidified at various cooling rates ranging from 0.4 to 17.5 °C/s. Thermal analysis was used to detect dendrite coherency point and temperature of eutectic reaction. Curves of solid and liquid fractions were plotted based on Newtonian method to determine hot tearing susceptible areas. The experimental results show that the most susceptible zone in which hot tearing can occur in Al2024 is where Al_2Cumg intermetallic compound forms as a eutectic phase at last stage of mushy-state interval. Also, both criteria are in a good agreement with each other at high cooling rates used in direct-chill casting process while Clyne and Davies＇ model is more acceptable to determine hot tearing tendency from low to medium cooling rates.

Entropy generation is one of the key features in analysis as it exhibits irreversibility of the system. Therefore, the present study investigates the entropy generation rate in a mixed convective peristaltic motion of a reactive nanofluid through an asymmetrical divergent channel with heat and mass transfer characteristics. The endorsed nanofluid model holds thermophoresis and Brownian diffusions. mathematical modeling is configured under the effects of mixed convection, heat generation/absorption and viscous dissipation. A chemical reaction is also introduced for the description of mass transportation. The resulting system of differential equations is numerically tackled by employing the Shooting method. The findings reveal that entropy generation rises by improving the Brownian motion and thermophoresis parameters. The temperature of the nanofluid decreases due to rising buoyancy forces caused by the concentration gradient. The concentration profile increases by increasing the chemical reaction parameter. The velocity increases by enhancing the Brownian motion parameter.

Currently,the growth of micro and nano(very large scale integration-ultra large-scale integration)electronics technology has greatly impacted biomedical signal processing *** high-speed micro and nano technology devices are very reliable despite their capacity to operate at tremendous speed,and can be designed to consume less power in minimum response time,which is particularly useful in biomedical *** rapid technological scaling of the metal-oxide-semi-conductor(mOS)devices aids in mapping multiple applications for a specific purpose on a single chip which motivates us to design a sophisticated,small and reliable application specific integrated circuit(ASIC)chip for future real time medical signal separation and processing(digital stetho-scopes and digital microelectromechanical systems(mEmS)microphone).In this paper,ASIC level implementation of the adaptive line enhancer design using adaptive filtering algorithms(least mean square(LmS)and normalized least mean square(NLmS))integrated design is used to separate the real-time auscultation sound signals *** line enhancer(ALE)design is imple-mented in Verilog hardware description language(HDL)language to obtain both the network and adaptive algorithm in cadence Taiwan Semiconductor manufacturing Company(TSmC)90 nm standard cell library environment for ASIC level *** compiled simulator(NC)sim and RC lab were used for functional verification and design constraints and the physical design is implemented in Encounter to obtain the Geometric Data Stream(GDS II).In this architecture,the area occupied is 0.08 mm,the total power consumed is 5.05 mW and the computation time of the proposed system is 0.82μs for LmS design and the area occupied is 0.14 mm,the total power consumed is 4.54 mW and the computation time of the proposed system is 0.03μs for NLmS design that will pave a better way in future electronic stethoscope design.

The impact of climate change on groundwater vulnerability has been assessed in the Pannonian basin over 1961–***-resolution climatemodels,aquifers composition,land cover,and digital elevation model were the main factors which served to perform the spatial analysis using Geographical Information *** analysis reported here is focused on the long-term period,including three temporal time sets:the past period of 1961–1990(1990s),the present period of 2011–2040(2020s),and the future period of 2041–2070(2050s).During the 1990s,the high and very high areas of groundwater vulnerability were identified in all the central,western,eastern,southeastern,and northern sides of the Pannonian *** these areas,the water availability is lower and the pollution load index is high,due to the agricultural *** low and very low vulnerability classwas depicted in the South-West part of the basin and in few locations from the peripheral areas,mainly in the North and *** medium groundwater vulnerability spreads over the Pannonian basin,but it ismore concentrated in the central,South,and *** most affected territory is Hungary,while the territories of Slovenia,Croatia,and Bosnia and Herzegovina are less *** the present and future periods,the very high groundwater vulnerability increased in areas by 0.74%and 0.87%,*** low class area decreased between the 1990s and the 2020s by 2.33%and it is expected to decrease up to 2.97%in the *** on this analysis and the groundwater vulnerabilitymaps,the Pannonian basin appears more vulnerable to climate change in the present and *** findings demonstrate that the aquifers from Pannonian basin experience high negative effect under climate *** addition,the land cover contributes to this negative status of groundwater *** original maps of groundwater vulnerability represent an instrument for water management planning and for research.
