This study was conducted to investigate the properties of Pr3+-Dy3+doped Zn2Y-type hexaferrite for potential technological applications.X-ray diffraction（XRD）,Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy（FTIR） and field-emission scanning electron microscopy（FESEm） were used to analyze structural *** crystallite size in the synthesized samples varies between 57.54 and 68.57 *** vibrational bands at 400 and 600 cm-1,common to all hexaferrites,were confirmed through *** FESEm analysis reveals an agglomeration of magnetic grains and a decrease in the average grain size from 1.24 to1.06 μ*** m-H loops show that,with x values of 0.0,0.1,and 0.2,the saturation magnetization is determined to be 34.76,34.23,and 32.52 emu/g,*** corresponding coercivity values are21.24,30.39,and 33.99 ***-visible spectroscopy using Tauc theory reveals an increase in the optical band gap from 2.32 to 2.50 eV,indicating a tunable energy band structure by incorporating Pr3+-Dy3+*** dielectric constant increases,whereas AC conductivity decreases with increased Pr3+-Dy3+*** obtained results suggest the potential suitability of these materials for various technological applications.

Causality,the science of cause and effect,has made it possible to create a new family of *** models are often referred to as causal *** those of mathematical,numerical,empirical,or machine learning(mL)nature,causal models hope to tie the cause(s)to the effect(s)pertaining to a phenomenon(i.e.,data generating process)through causal *** paper presents one of the first works at creating causal models in the area of structural and construction *** this end,this paper starts with a brief review of the principles of causality and then adopts four causal discovery algorithms,namely,PC(Peter-Clark),FCI(fast causal inference),GES(greedy equivalence search),and GRa SP(greedy relaxation of the sparsest permutation),have been used to examine four phenomena,including predicting the load-bearing capacity of axially loaded members,fire resistance of structural members,shear strength of beams,and resistance of walls against impulsive(blast)*** from this study reveal the possibility and merit of discovering complete and partial causal ***,this study also proposes two simple metrics that can help assess the performance of causal discovery algorithms.

The NEutron Detector Array(NEDA)is designed to be coupled to gamma-ray spectrometers to enhance the sensitivity of the setup by enabling reaction channel selection through counting of the evaporated *** article presents the implementation of a double trigger condition system for NEDA,which improves the acquisition of neutrons and reduces the number of gamma rays *** independent triggers are generated in the double trigger condition system:one based on charge comparison(CC)and the other on time-of-flight(TOF).These triggers can be combined using OR and AND logic,offering four distinct trigger *** developed firmware is added to the previous one in the Virtex 6 field programmable gate array(FPGA)present in the system,which also includes signal processing,baseline correction,and various trigger logic *** performance of the trigger system is evaluated using data from the E703 experiment performed at *** four trigger modes are applied to the same data,and a subsequent offline analysis is *** is shown that most of the detected neutrons are preserved with the AND mode,and the total number of gamma rays is significantly *** with the CC trigger mode,the OR trigger mode allows increasing the selection of *** addition,it is demonstrated that if the OR mode is selected,the online CC trigger threshold can be raised without losing neutrons.

Assessment of the heartwood contribution to carbon accumulation in Pinus sylvestris L. trees under different forest site conditions

Background: The heartwood (HW) proportion in the trunk of mature trees is an important characteristic not only for wood quality but also for assessing the role of forests in carbon sequestration. We have for the first time studied the proportion of HW in the trunk and the distribution of carbon and extractives in sapwood (SW) and HW of 70-80 year old Pinus sylvestris L. trees under different growing conditions in the pine forests of North-West Russia. method: We have examined the influence of conditions and tree position in stand (dominant, intermediate and suppressed trees) in the ecological series: blueberry pine forest (Blu) - lingonberry pine forest (Lin) - lichen pine forest (Lic). We have analyzed the influence of climate conditions in the biogeographical series of Lin: the middle taiga subzone - the northern taiga subzone - the transition area of the northern taiga subzone and tundra. Results: We found that the carbon concentration in HW was 1.6%-3.4% higher than in SW, and the difference depended on growing conditions. Carbon concentration in HW increased with a decrease in stand productivity (Blu-Lin-Lic). In medium-productive stands, the carbon concentration in SW was higher in intermediate and supressed trees compared to dominant trees. In the series from south to north, carbon concentration in HW increased by up to 2%, while in SW, it rose by 2.7%-3.8%. Conclusions: Our results once again emphasized the need for an empirical assessment of the accurate carbon content in aboveground wood biomass, including various forest growing conditions, to better understand the role of boreal forests in carbon storage.

In this research work,sol-gel technique was employed to prepare the strontium based spinel ferrite nanoparticles（SrFe2O4） with different ratios of terbium（Tb）.Different characterization techniques were used to investigate the structural,morphological,dielectric and magnetic properties of the prepared samples.X-ray diffraction（XRD） result suggests that face-centered cube spinel nanocrystalline structure is *** size of the SrFe2O4decreases with rising of Tb *** morphology,shape and size of the SrFe2O4were examined by scanning electron microscopy（SEm） analysis and results reveal inhomogeneous distributions of the nanostructures with high *** electrical resistivity of the SrFe2O4increases with rising of Tb ratio,which is confirmed from the cyclic *** is observed that dielectric constant of all the samples decreases with the increasing frequency *** is determined that the dielectric constants of the spinel ferrites are frequency dependent and decrease with increasing the frequency of applied electric *** magnetic behavior of SrFe2O4with different ratios of Tb was studied and it is found that the saturation magnetization values of samples decrease with increase in the substitution of Tb3+at octahedral sites for Fe3+.This decrease in the values of msis also attributed to spin at surface of nanoparticles.

Dynamically generated resonances from the vector octet-baryon decuplet interaction and their radiative decays into γ-baryon decuplet

The dynarnically generated resonances from vector meson-baryon decuplet are studied using La- grangians of the hidden gauge theory for vector interactions. One shows that some of the generated states can be associated with some known baryon resonances in the PDG data, while others are predictions for new states. Furthermore, we calculate the radiative decay widths of these resonances into a photon and a baryon decuplet.
