Structural,dielectric and magnetic properties of terbium doped strontium spinel ferrite（SrFe2O4） synthesized by sol-gel method

in this research work,sol-gel technique was employed to prepare the strontium based spinel ferrite nanoparticles（SrFe2O4） with different ratios of terbium（Tb）.Different characterization techniques were used to investigate the structural,morphological,dielectric and magnetic properties of the prepared samples.X-ray diffraction（XRD） result suggests that face-centered cube spinel nanocrystalline structure is *** size of the SrFe2O4decreases with rising of Tb *** morphology,shape and size of the SrFe2O4were examined by scanning electron microscopy（SEm） analysis and results reveal inhomogeneous distributions of the nanostructures with high *** electrical resistivity of the SrFe2O4increases with rising of Tb ratio,which is confirmed from the cyclic *** is observed that dielectric constant of all the samples decreases with the increasing frequency *** is determined that the dielectric constants of the spinel ferrites are frequency dependent and decrease with increasing the frequency of applied electric *** magnetic behavior of SrFe2O4with different ratios of Tb was studied and it is found that the saturation magnetization values of samples decrease with increase in the substitution of Tb3+at octahedral sites for Fe3+.This decrease in the values of msis also attributed to spin at surface of nanoparticles.

Geoacoustic inversion Using Time Reversal of Ocean Noise

We present a passive geoacoustic inversion method using two hydrophones, which combines noise interferometry and time reversal mirror （TRm） techniques. Numerical simulations are firstly performed, in which strong fo- cusing occurs in the vicinity of one hydrophone when Green＇s function （GF） is back-propagated from the other hydrophone, with the position and strength of the focus being sensitive to sound speed and density in the bottom. We next extract the GF from the noise cross-correlation function measured by two hydrophones with 8025-m distance in the Shallow Water ＇06 experiment. After realizing the TRm process, sound speed and density in the bottom are inverted by optimizing focusing of the back-propagated GF. The passive inversion method is inherently environmentally friendly and low-cost.

Paleomapping:Creating testable visual hypotheses of ancient worlds

The story of the Earth's changing landscapes is often told through paleogeographic maps. These images are some of the most accessible and widely used illustrations in the Earth sciences. However, no formal procedure for the creation of photorealistic paleomaps(i.e., paleosatellite images) exists. Using an example from the Late Jurassic of the Rocky mountain region, we present a method for making paleoenvironmental and paleosatellite maps that is scalable, reproducible, testable, and incorporates peer review. The process includes a literature review followed by data-visualization, paleoenvironmental interpretation, peer-review,iterative revisions, and the creation of a false contour map and color gradient used to render a paleosatellite image. Paleosatellite images are photorealistic versions of paleoenvironmental maps that incorporate global climatic and tectonic information as well as principles of actualism; they can be made through comparison to analogous modern landscapes. An important component of this process is that the data maps that ground this paleomapping process allow evaluation of where paleoenvironmental interpretations are wellsupported by outcrop and subsurface data, and where such visualization is highly interpretive-often because of lack of available rocks or studies in a given area. As such, our paleoenvironmental maps and paleosatellite images are testable pictorial hypotheses. By outlining a procedure that produces referenced,data-rich, and visually realistic maps, we hope to demystify the paleoenvironmental map-making process and improve accessibility of paleomaps for the broader geoscience community. Where resources and complementary data are available, such maps also have potential for georeferencing and integration with larger continent-scale paleogeographic maps.

Dynamic modeling of a three-dimensional braided composite thin plate considering braiding directions

Currently, there are a limited number of dynamic models available for braided composite plates with large overall motions, despite the incorporation of three-dimensional(3D) braided composites into rotating blade components. in this paper, a dynamic model of 3D 4-directional braided composite thin plates considering braiding directions is established. Based on Kirchhoff's plate assumptions, the displacement variables of the plate are expressed. By incorporating the braiding directions into the constitutive equation of the braided composites, the dynamic model of the plate considering braiding directions is obtained. The effects of the speeds, braiding directions, and braided angles on the responses of the plate with fixed-axis rotation and translational motion, respectively, are investigated. This paper presents a dynamic theory for calculating the deformation of 3D braided composite structures undergoing both translational and rotational motions. it also provides a simulation method for investigating the dynamic behavior of non-isotropic material plates in various applications.

Updating the distribution of<i> Nothofagusi><i> alessandrii:i> impact of deforestation, fragmentation and connectivity

Nothofagus alessandrii forests in the mediterranean region of Chile face significant threats from deforestation, fragmentation, wildfires, and climate change. This study investigated the temporal and spatial dynamics of N. alessandrii populations and their implications for habitat fragmentation and connectivity. Using remote sensing data and geographic information system analysis, we assessed deforestation patterns, fragmentation metrics, and connectivity indices for different scenarios between 2009 and 2022. A reduction in the N. alessandrii forest area, extensive fragmentation, and decreased connectivity were observed over time, with wildfires exacerbating these trends. Reforestation simulations showed the potential of targeted restoration efforts to improve connectivity, especially when focusing on proximate patches. However, careful consideration of seed dispersal distances and wildfire risk is essential for effective reforestation planning. Overall, our findings underscore the urgent need for conservation interventions to preserve N. alessandrii forests and their biodiversity in Chile's coastal mountain ecosystems. A proactive and collaborative approach is essential to ensure the survival of these forests for future generations.

This work addresses challenges and opportunities in the evaluation of solar power plant impacts,with a particular focus on thermal effects of solar plants on the environment and ***-scale solar power plants are often sited in arid or desert habitats,which tend to include fauna and flora that are highly sensitive to changes in temperature and *** understanding of both shortwave(solar)and longwave(terrestrial)radiation processes in solar power plants is complete enough to render the modeling of radiation fluxes with high confidence for most *** contrast to radiation,the convective environment in large-scale solar power plants is much more difficult to *** direction,wind speed,turbulence intensity,dust concentration,ground condition,panel configuration density,orientation and distribution throughout the solar field,all affect the local environment,the balance between radiation and convection,and in turn,the performance and thermal impact of solar power *** the temperatures of the two sides of photovoltaic(PV)panels depend on detailed convection-radiation balances,the uncertainty associated with convection affects the heat and mass transfer balances as *** balances are critically important in estimating the thermal impact of large-scale solar farms on local *** we discuss outstanding issues related with these transfer processes for utility-scale solar generation and highlight potential pathways to gain useful knowledge about the convective environment directly from solar farms under operating conditions.

This study investigates the effect of aluminium oxide nanoparticlesaddition to biodiesel blends made from dairy milk scum on performance and combustion characteristics of the diesel *** dispersion of Al_(2)O_(3)nanoparticles in B20 blends at different concentrations was done with the help of *** number of blends were prepared for the *** machine learning algorithms(Random Forest(RF)and CatBoost)was used for the *** results show that in comparison to biodiesel blends without nanoparticles,the kinematic viscosity and density is higher for fuel blends with *** these Fuel blends have higher calorific *** blends exhibited reduced Brake Specific Fuel Consumption(BSFC)of 2.85% than the blends without nano particles(Dairy Scum methyl Ester Biodiesel 20%+Neat Diesel 80%(in volume),DSmEB20),57.14%less CO,40.8% less hydrocarbon,and increased NO_(x)emissions compared to conventional diesel,contributing to the development of environmentally friendly and renewable biofuel blends with *** B20NP30 is the optimal blend for performance and emission *** study concludes with findings on enhanced Brake Thermal Efficiency(BTE)of 26.29% in 3×10^(-5)(in volume)Al_(2)O_(3)nanoparticle-blended DSmE B20 and other DSmE B20 fuel blends,emphasizing the importance of optimal nanoparticle *** correlation matrix shows how engine load,efficiency measures(BTE,BSFC),and emissions(CO,CO_(2),NO_(x),Smoke)are connected in complex *** results help us understand the complicated dynamics of engine performance and emission characteristics ***'s diagram for BTE and BSFC shows that CatBoost-based BTE models perform superior to RF-based models during the training as well as testing *** results were obtained for CO and CO_(2)emission results.
