This paper considers setting different dips for different sub-faults to fit the actual rupture situation based on the fault rupture of the 2013 Lushan m_(S)7.0 earthquake.meanwhile,combined with the coseismic GNSS data of the Lushan earthquake,the source parameters and sliding distribution of the Lushan earthquake fault are inversed.Firstly,we use the gradient based optimizer(GBO)in nonlinear inversion to obtain the source parameters of this seismic fault.The inversion results indicate that the strike of the fault is 206.52°,the dip is 44.10°,the length is 21.92 km,and the depth is 12.79 km.To refine the sliding distribution of the seismic fault,the seismic fault is divided into 3×3 sub-faults.Then,we fix the central sub-fault dip of 44.10°;the dip of other sub-faults is obtained by iteration.After that,the model is further divided into a fault layer model composed of 23×19 sub fault slices,and using the matlab fitting function is used to fit the dip of the 23×19 sub faults.Finally,the Lushan seismic fault plane is established as a shovel structure with steep upper and gentle lower,steep south and gentle north.The slip distribution inversion results indicate that the depth of the slip peak is 13 km,the corresponding maximum slip momentum is 0.67 m,the seismic moment is 1.10×10^(19)N·m and the corresponding moment magnitude is mW6.66.The results above are consistent with the research results of seismology.

Hundreds of vaccines have been developed worldwide for Severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2),the cause of Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19),since the beginning of the pandemic.These vaccines have saved innumerable lives and contributed to partial control of the COVID-19 pandemic.most of the vaccines approved for clinical use exhibit satisfactory initial protection rates against corresponding strains.However,vaccine protection declines over time,with almost all vaccines falling below 50%protection after 6 months[1].In the case of natural infections,protection lasts longer,but the incidence of reinfection is also quite high.

Developing stable electrodes for seawater splitting remains a great challenge due to the detachment of catalysts at a large operating current and severe anode corrosion caused by chlorine.Herein,divalent anion intercalation and etching-hydrolysis strategies are deployed to synthesize the ultra-stable anode,dendritic Fe(OH)_(3) grown on Ni(SO_4)_(0.3)(OH)_(1.4)–Ni(OH)_(2).Experimental results reveal that the anode exhibits good activity and excellent stability in alkaline simulated seawater.After 500 h,the current density operated at 1.72 V remains 99.5%,about 210 m A cm^(-2).The outstanding stability originates from the etchinghydrolysis strategy,which strengthens the interaction between the catalyst and the carrier and retards thus the detachment of catalysts at a large current density.Besides,theoretical simulations confirm that the intercalated divalent anions,such as SO_4^(2-) and CO_(3)^(2-),can weaken the adsorption strength of chlorine on the surface of catalysts and hinder the coupling and hybridization between chlorine and nickel,which slows down the anode corrosion and improves catalytic stability.Furthermore,the twoelectrode system shows the remarkable 95.1% energy efficiency at 2,000 A m-2and outstanding stability in 6 mol L^(-1) KOH +seawater at 80 ℃.

The existing indoor fusion positioning methods based on Pedestrian Dead Reckoning(PDR)and geomagnetic technology have the problems of large initial position error,low sensor accuracy,and geomagnetic mismatch.In this study,a novel indoor fusion positioning approach based on the improved particle filter algorithm by geomagnetic iterative matching is proposed,where Wi-Fi,PDR,and geomagnetic signals are integrated to improve indoor positioning performances.One important contribution is that geomagnetic iterative matching is firstly proposed based on the particle filter algorithm.During the positioning process,an iterative window and a constraint window are introduced to limit the particle generation range and the geomagnetic matching range respectively.The position is corrected several times based on geomagnetic iterative matching in the location correction stage when the pedestrian movement is detected,which made up for the shortage of only one time of geomagnetic correction in the existing particle filter algorithm.In addition,this study also proposes a real-time step detection algorithm based on multi-threshold constraints to judge whether pedestrians are moving,which satisfies the real-time requirement of our fusion positioning approach.Through experimental verification,the average positioning accuracy of the proposed approach reaches 1.59 m,which improves 33.2%compared with the existing particle filter fusion positioning algorithms.

Highly clinical and genetic heterogeneity of neurodevelopmental disorders presents a major challenge in clinical genetics and medicine.Panoramic variation analysis is imperative to analyze the disease phenotypes resulting from multilocus genomic variation.Here,a Pakistani family with parental consanguinity was presented,characterized with severe intellectual disability(ID),spastic paraplegia,and deafness.Homozygosity mapping,integrated single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP)array,whole-exome sequencing,and whole-genome sequencing were performed,and homozygous variants in TmEm141(c.270G>A,p.Trp90^(*)),DDHD2(c.411+767_c.1249-327del),and LHFPL5(c.250delC,p.Leu84^(*))were identified.A Tmem141^(p.Trp90^(*)/p.Trp90^(*))mouse model was generated.Behavioral studies showed impairments in learning ability and motor coordination.Brain slice electrophysiology and Golgi staining demonstrated deficient synaptic plasticity in hippocampal neurons and abnormal dendritic branching in cerebellar Purkinje cells.Transmission electron microscopy showed abnormal mitochondrial morphology.Furthermore,studies on a human in vitro neuronal model(SH-SY5Y cells)with stable shRNA-mediated knockdown of TmEm141 showed deleterious effect on bioenergetic function,possibly explaining the pathogenesis of replicated phenotypes in the cross-species mouse model.Conclusively,panoramic variation analysis revealed that multilocus genomic variations of TmEm141,DDHD2,and LHFPL5 together caused variable phenotypes in patient.Notably,the biallelic loss-of-function variants of TmEm141 were responsible for syndromic ID.

Experimental and numerical investigations were performed to reveal the effect of prestress on the fatigue properties of FGH4097 so as to quantitatively evaluate the overspeed benefit of the disc of aeroengine. A corresponding experiment was performed to examine the effect of prestress on the fatigue life of FGH97. A complete model describing the fatigue properties of the prestressed notch specimen was proposed. After the modification of mean stress, stress gradient and prestressing treatment, the model is finally verified by fatigue test of presstressed notch specimens machined from FGH4097 with satisfactory accuracy and good engineering applicability. The new model highlights that for the variable fatigue loads, the introduction of appropriate prestress is expected to benefit to the notch specimens and certainly to the disc of aeroengine regards of their fatigue properties. Both the calculation method of fatigue life parameters and the prestress correction model are proved to have good prediction accuracy.

BACKGROUND Circulating tumor cell(CTC)count and neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio(NLR)are both closely associated with the prognosis of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).AIm To investigate the prognostic value of combining these two indicators in HCC.mETHODS Clinical data were collected from patients with advanced HCC who received im-mune therapy combined with targeted therapy at the Department of Oncology,the Affiliated Hospital of Southwest medical University,Sichuan,China,from 2021 to 2023.The optimal cutoff values for CTC programmed death-ligand 1(PD-L1)(+)>1 or CTC PD-L1(+)≤1 and NLR>3.89 or NLR≤3.89 were evaluated using X-Tile software.Patients were categorized into three groups based on CTC PD-L1(+)counts and NLR:CTC-NLR(0),CTC-NLR(1),and CTC-NLR(2).The relationship between CTC-NLR and clinical variables as well as survival rates was assessed.RESULTS Patients with high CTC PD-L1(+)expression or NLR at baseline had shorter median progression-free survival(m-PFS)and median overall survival(mOS)than those with low levels of CTC PD-L1(+)or NLR(Pmean-while,patients in the CTC-NLR(2)group showed a significant decrease in mPFS and mOS.Cox regression analysis revealed that alpha-fetoprotein(AFP),CTC PD-L1(+),and CTC-NLR were independent predictors of OS.The time-dependent receiver operating characteristic curve showed that the area under the curve of CTC-NLR at 12 months(0.821)and 18 months(0.821)was superior to that of AFP and CTC PD-L1(+).CONCLUSION HCC patients with high CTC PD-L1(+)or NLR expression tend to exhibit poor prognosis,and a high baseline CTC-NLR score may indicate low survival.CTC-NLR may serve as an effective prognostic indicator for patients with advanced HCC receiving immunotherapy combined with targeted therapy.

Facile low-temperature supercritical carbonization method to prepare high-loading nickel single atom catalysts for efficient photodegradation of tetracycline

Environmental photocatalysis is a promising technology for treating antibiotics in wastewater.In this study,a supercritical carbonization method was developed to synthesize a single-atom photocatalyst with a high loading of Ni(above 5 wt.%)anchored on a carbonnitrogen-silicate substrate for the efficient photodegradation of a ubiquitous environmental contaminant of tetracycline(TC).The photocatalyst was prepared from an easily obtained metal-biopolymer-inorganic supramolecular hydrogel,followed by supercritical drying and carbonization treatment.The low-temperature(300℃)supercritical ethanol treatment prevents the excessive structural degradation of hydrogel and greatly reduces the metal clustering and aggregation,which contributed to the high Ni loading.Atomic characterizations confirmed that Ni was present at isolated sites and stabilized by Ni-N and Ni-O bonds in a Ni-(N/O)_(6)-C/SiC configuration.A 5%Ni-C-Si catalyst,which performed the best among the studied catalysts,exhibited a wide visible light response with a narrow bandgap of 1.45 eV that could efficiently and repeatedly catalyze the oxidation of TC with a conversion rate of almost 100% within 40 min.The reactive species trapping experiments and electron spin resonance(ESR)tests demonstrated that the h+,and·O_(2)-were mainly responsible for TC degradation.The TC degradation mechanism and possible reaction pathways were provided also.Overall,this study proposed a novel strategy to synthesize a high metal loading singleatom photocatalyst that can efficiently remove TC with high concentrations,and this strategy might be extended for synthesis of other carbon-based single-atom catalysts with valuable properties.
