Spatiotemporal characteristics of water exchange between the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal

A high-resolution customized numerical model is used to analyze the water transport in the three major water passages between the Andaman Sea(AS)and the Bay of Bengal,i.e.,the Preparis Channel(PC),the Ten Degree Channel(TDC),and the Great Channel(GC),based on the daily averaged simulation results ranging from 2010 to *** analysis and Empirical Orthogonal Function(EOF)methods are employed to investigate the spatiotemporal variability of the water exchange and controlling *** results of model simulation indicate that the net average transports of the PC and GC,as well as their linear trend,are opposite to that of the *** indicates that the PC and the GC are the main inflow channels of the AS,while the TDC is the main outflow channel of the *** transport variability is most pronounced at surface levels and between 100 m and 200 m depth,likely affected by monsoons and circulation.A 182.4-d semiannual variability is consistently seen in all three channels,which is also evident in their second principal *** on sea level anomalies and EOF analysis results,this is primarily due to equatorial winds during the monsoon transition period,causing eastward movement of Kelvin waves along the AS coast,thereby affecting the spatiotemporal characteristics of the flow in the *** first EOF of the PC flow field section shows a split at 100 m deep,likely due to *** first EOF of the TDC flow field section is steady but has potent seasonal oscillations in its time ***,the first EOF of the GC flow field section indicates a stable surface inflow,probably influenced by the equatorial Indian Ocean’s eastward current.

Crystal structure and luminescence dynamics of highly pure Lim(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(m=Sr,Ca) red phosphors for white light emitting diodes

highly pure red phosphors Lim(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)(m=Sr,Ca) doped with Eu^(3+)(1 mol%) were synthesized via solution combustion method and their crystal structure and luminescence dynamics were studied to explore its suitability in white light emitting *** Rietveld refinement analysis of the powder Xray diffraction patterns reveals that the phosphors belong to the pure triclinic phase of LiSr(PO_(3))_(3) and LiCa(PO_(3)) with space group P-1(2).The scanning electron microscopy images showed the agglomerated *** photoluminescence emission spectra under 393 nm show an orange band at 594 nm and a red band at 613 nm ascribed to ^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(1).^(5)D_(0)→^(7)F_(2) transitions of Eu^(3+)ion in both the ***,the spectroscopic properties such as luminescence behaviour,and Stark splitting were used to examine the symmetry of Eu^(3+)ions in Lim(PO_(3))_(3):Es^(3+)(m=Sr,Ca) phosphors in terms of distortion induced upon *** Stark splitting shows that the actual site symmetry for Eu^(3+)ion was estimated to be D_(2) type for both *** photometric properties of LiCa(PO_(3))_(3):Eu^(3+)such as Commission International de l'Eclairage coordinates(x=0.64,y=0.36) near to the standard one(red),high color purity(95%) and higher brightness reveal that the phosphor has the capability of acting as a red component in n-UV white light emitting diodes.

Low-temperature processed electron transport layer(ETL)of TiO_(2)that is widely used in planar perovskite solar cells(PSCs)has inherent low carrier mobility,resulting in insufficient photogenerated elec-tron transport and thus recombination loss at buried ***,we demonstrate an effective strategy of laser embedding of p-n homojunctions in the TiO_(2)ETL to accelerate electron transport in PSCs,through localized build-in electric fields that enables boosted electron mobility by two orders of *** embedding is found significantly helpful for not only the enhanced crystallization quality of TiO_(2)ETL,but the fabrication of perovskite films with larger-grain and the *** embedded p-n homojunction enables also the modulation of interfacial energy level between perovskite layers and ETLs,favoring for the reduced voltage deficit of *** from these merits,the formamidinium lead iodide(FAPbI_(3))PSCs employing such ETLs deliver a champion efficiency of 25.50%,along with much-improved device stability under harsh conditions,i.e.,maintain over 95%of their initial efficiency after operation at maximum power point under continuous heat and illumination for 500 h,as well as mixed-cation PSCs with a champion efficiency of 22.02%and over 3000 h of ambient storage under humidity stability of 40%.Present study offers new possibilities of regulating charge transport layers via p-n homojunction embedding for high performance optoelectronics.

Nanosize-effect on the distribution of heavy metals in copper smelting dust:Based on sophisticated dust sorting approach

Dust particles emitted from smelters can be hazardous to ecosystems and humans,as they are often enriched in metallic ***,we combined multi-method mineralogical analysis with a sophisticated size sorting approach for copper smelting dust to study the nanosize-effect on heavy metal distribution,which has hitherto been *** types of dust were collected from a copper flash smelter and then size-sorted using a Dekati low-pressure *** showed that all three samples could easily sort out nanoscale dust particles(m,grades 10–2)and even those smaller than 100 nm(grades 5–2).Especially for electrostatic precipitators dust,the mass fraction of nanoscale dust(m)could reach 10.71%.The presence of heavy metals(Pb,Zn,Cu,and As)and their mineral species in dust was examined at various particle *** was discovered that different heavy metals are enriched on nanoparticles in specific *** micron-sized particles,heavy metals are generally found in discrete phases(e.g.,CuSO_(4),PbSO_(4),and As_(2)O_(3)).In nanoscale particles,the dominant phase is Fe_(3)O_(4),while heavy metals are mostly found in lattice substitution(e.g.,CuFe_(2)O_(4)and ZnFe_(2)O_(4)).Two distinct nano-dust morphologies were found:One with irregular mesh or chain structures consisting of particles of a few nanometers,and the other with polygonal crystals in larger sizes of hundreds of *** enrichment of heavy metals in the latter morphology is more pronounced,possibly because lattice substitution of heavy metals is more likely to occur when polycrystalline particles are formed.

Electrocatalytic nitrate reduction reaction has attracted increasing attention due to its goal of low carbon emission and environmental ***,we report an efficient NitRR catalyst composed of single mn sites with atomically dispersed oxygen(O)coordination on bacterial cellulose-converted graphitic carbon(mn-O-C).Evidence of the atomically dispersed mn-(O-C_(2))_(4)moieties embedding in the exposed basal plane of carbon surface is confirmed by X-ray absorption *** a result,the as-synthesized mn-O-C catalyst exhibits superior NitRR activity with an Nh_(3)yield rate(RNh_(3))of 1476.9±62.6μg h^(−1)cm^(−2)at−0.7 V(*** hydrogen electrode,RhE)and a faradaic efficiency(FE)of 89.0±3.8%at−0.5 V(***)under ambient ***,when evaluated with a practical flow cell,mn-O-C shows a high RNh_(3)of 3706.7±552.0μg h^(−1)cm^(−2)at a current density of 100 mA cm−2,2.5 times of that in the h *** in situ FT-IR and Raman spectroscopic studies combined with theoretical calculations indicate that the mn-(O-C_(2))_(4)sites not only effectively inhibit the competitive hydrogen evolution reaction,but also greatly promote the adsorption and activation of nitrate(NO_(3)^(−)),thus boosting both the FE and selectivity of Nh_(3)over mn-(O-C_(2))_(4)sites.

There are stillchallenges in applying drug nanocarriers for in situ sustained macrophage targeting and regulation,due to the rapid clearance of nanocarriers and burst drug release ***,a nanomicellehydrogel microsphere,characterized by its macrophage-targeted nanosized secondary structure that allows it to accurately bind to m1 macrophages through active endocytosis,is employed for in situ sustained macrophage targeting and regulation,and addresses the insufficient osteoarthritis therapeutic efficacy caused by rapid clearance of drug *** 3-dimensional structure of a microsphere can prevent the rapid escape and clearance of a nanomicelle,thus keeping it in joints,while the ligand-guided secondary structure can carry drugs to accurately target and enter m1 macrophages,and release drugs via the transition from hydrophobicity to hydrophilicity of nanomicelles under inflammatory stimulation inside the macrophages.

980 nm Near-Infrared Light-Emitting Diode Using All-Inorganic Perovskite Nanocrystals Doped with Ytterbium Ions

All-inorganic perovskite(CsPbX3)nanocrystals(NCs)have recently been widely investigated as versatile solution-processable light-emitting *** to its wide-bandgap nature,the all-inorganic perovskite NC Light-Emitting Diode(LED)is limited to the visible region(400-700 nm).A particularly difficult challenge lies in the practical application of perovskite NCs in the infrared-spectrum *** this work,a 980 nm NIR all-inorganic perovskite NC LED is demonstrated,which is based on an efficient energy transfer from wide-bandgap materials(CsPbCl3 NCs)to ytterbium ions(Yb3+)as an NIR emitter doped in perovskite *** optimized CsPbCl3 NC with 15 mol%Yb3+doping concentration has the strongest 980 nm photoluminescence(PL)peak,with a PL quantum yield of 63%.An inverted perovskite NC LED is fabricated with the structure of ITO/PEDOT:PSS/poly-TPD/CsPbCl3:15 mol%Yb3+NCs/TPBi/LiF/*** LED has an External Quantum Efficiency(EQE)of 0.2%,a Full Width at half maximum(FWhm)of 47 nm,and a maximum luminescence of 182 cd/m?.The introduction of Yb3+doping in perovskite NCs makes it possible to expand its working wavelength to near-infrared band for next-generation light sources and shows potential applications for optoelectronic integration.

Luminescence regulation of Sb^(3+)in 0D hybrid metal halides by hydrogen bond network for optical anti-counterfeiting

The Sb^(3+) doping strategy has been proven to be an effective way to regulate the band gap and improve the photophysical properties of organic-inorganic hybrid metal halides(OIhmhs).however,the emission of Sb^(3+) ions in OIhmhs is primarily confined to the low energy region,resulting in yellow or red *** date,there are few reports about green emission of Sb^(3+)-doped ***,we present a novel approach for regulating the luminescence of Sb^(3+) ions in 0D C_(10)h_(2)_(2)N_(6)InCl_(7)·h_(2)O via hydrogen bond network,in which water molecules act as agents for hydrogen ***^(3+)-doped C_(10)h_(2)2N_(6)InCl_(7)·h_(2)O shows a broadband green emission peaking at 540 nm and a high photoluminescence quantum yield(PLQY)of 80%.It is found that the intense green emission stems from the radiative recombination of the self-trapped excitons(STEs).Upon removal of water molecules with heat,C_(10)h_(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7) generates yellow emis-sion,attributed to the breaking of the hydrogen bond network and large structural distortions of excited *** water molecules are adsorbed by C_(10)h_(2)_(2)N_(6)In_(1-x)Sb_(x)Cl_(7),it can subsequently emit green *** water-induced reversible emission switching is successfully used for optical security and information *** findings expand the under-standing of how the local coordination structure influences the photophysical mechanism in Sb^(3+)-doped metal halides and provide a novel method to control the STEs emission.

high-voltage battery systems bring significant increases in energy density but are also accompanied by fast degradation of electrochemical performance and serious safety ***,Li^(+)coordination structure regulation was conducted to formulate a non-flammable electrolyte,which consists of 1.5 m lithium bis(fluor sulfonyl)imide(LiFSI)in triethyl phosphate and methyl 2,2,2-trifluoromethyl carbonate(FEmC).The renamed TEP-FEmC-FEC(TFF)electrolyte exhibits an FSI−-dominated solvation structure contributed by the weakly-solvating ability of *** generated inorganic-rich interfacial layers are conducive to stabilizing the phase transition of high-voltage cathodes while suppressing the dendritic growth on lithium metal or co-intercalation behavior in graphite *** TFF electrolyte enables LiCoO_(2)||Li batteries to achieve capacity maintenance over 79%after 400 cycles with high-rate of 5 C at an ultra-high voltage of 4.6 V,and an outstanding capacity exceeding 100 mA h g^(−1)even at a super-high current density of 20 ***,the Ah-level LiCoO_(2)||graphite pouch cells also exhibit high capacity retention and satisfactory safety performance even under fast *** work provides a novel research direction for the pursuit of high energy density non-flammable electrolytes.
