This paper proposes a novel implementation of the level set method that achieves real-time level-set-based object tracking. In the proposed algorithm, the evolution of the curve is realized by simple operations such as switching values of the level set functions and there is no need to solve any partial differential equations (PDEs). The object contour could change due to the change in the location, orientation or due to the changeable nature of the object shape itself. Knowing the contour, the average color value for the pixels within the contour could be found. The estimated object color and contour in one frame are the bases for locating the object in the consecutive one. The color is used to segment the object pixels and the estimated contour is used to initialize the deformation process. Thus, the algorithm works in a closed cycle in which the color is used to segment the object pixels to get the object contour and the contour is used to get the typical-color of the object. With our fast algorithm, a real-time system has been implemented on a standard PC. Results from standard test sequences and our real time system are presented.

目的粘附肽(精氨酸-甘氨酸-天冬氨酸)是细胞外基质高度保守的氨基酸序列,可与整合素家族受体特异识别并结合,诱导细胞附着。本研究应用人工合成的粘附肽片段,观察其对小鼠mC3T3-E1亚克隆14前成骨细胞的转谷氨酰胺酶表达的调节。方法mC3T3-E1亚克隆14前成骨细胞在常规培养和诱导分化条件下,分别加入粘附肽(GRGDS)和对照肽(GRADS),24h后用ELISA法测定细胞中转谷氨酰胺酶的活性。结果在诱导分化条件下,粘附肽(GRGDS)可以使mC3T3-E1亚克隆14前成骨细胞的转谷氨酰胺酶活性明显高于对照组和加入对照肽组(P<0.05)。结论粘附肽对小鼠成骨细胞分化早期细胞转谷氨酰胺酶的表达有促进作用。

According to the chloride corrosion environment,service life prediction model of concrete structure of sea-crossing bridge was built using modified fick's second law and the whole probability calculation method,which was suitable for China. furthermore,a visual service life prediction program of concrete structure was developed by optimized monte Carlo method. meanwhile,Life 365 program was compared,indicating reliability of the prediction program. finally,the validity of prediction model was verified in JinTang Bridge of Zhoushan Island mainland Linkage Project.

The gold standard for curative treatment of locally advanced rectal cancer involves radical resection with a total mesorectal excision(TmE). TmE is the most effective treatment strategy to reduce local recurrence and improve survival outcomes regardless of the surgical platform used. however, there are associated morbidities, functional consequences, and quality of life(QoL) issues associated with TmE; these risks must be considered during the modern-day multidisciplinary treatment for rectal cancer. This has led to the development of new surgical techniques to improve patient, oncologic, and QoL outcomes. In this work, we review the evolution of TmE to the transanal total mesorectal excision(TaTmE) through more traditional minimally invasive platforms. The review the development, safety and feasibility, proposed benefits and risks of the procedure, implementation and education models, and future direction for research and implementation of the TaTmE in colorectal surgery. While satisfactory short-term results have been reported, the procedure is in its infancy, and long term outcomes and definitive results from controlled trials are *** evidence for safety and feasibility accumulates,structured training programs to standardize teaching,training, and safe expansion will aid the safe spread of the TaTmE.

Synthesis and Characterization of Bimetallic Gold-Silver Core-Shell Nanoparticles: A Green Approach

Bimetallic gold-silver core-shell nanoparticles were prepared by chemical reduction in aqueous solution, following a method that was friendly to the environment, allowing us to use this for medicinal purposes. Gold nanoparticles were synthesized, and silver cations were then reduced on the nanoparticles. Using the optical properties of metallic nanoparticles, surface plasmon resonance was determined by UV-Vis spectroscopy, and the values obtained for gold and silver were approximately 520 nm and 400 nm in wavelength, respectively. The absorption peaks of the surface plasmon band show a clear red-shift due to size effect in the case of the silver surface, and a plasmon coupling effect, in the case of gold. To obtain a better understanding of the coating conditions, high resolution transmission electron microscopy was used. The average hydrodynamic size and the size distribution of the synthesized nanoparticles were obtained by dynamic light scattering. The development of this process, which is benign for the environment, opens the possibility for many applications in the areas of renewable energy, medicine and biology.

The mathematical basis for the earlier reported spectrum of discrete electromagnetic field (Emf) frequencies that were shown to affect health and disease is substantiated and generalized in the present paper. The particular Emf pattern was revealed by a meta-analysis of, now, more than 500 biomedical publications that reported life-sustaining as well as life-decaying Emf frequencies. These discrete eigenfrequency values can be related to supposed bio-resonance of solitons or polaron quasi particles in life systems. Bio-solitons are conceived as self-reinforcing solitary waves that are constituting local fields, being involved in intracellular geometric ordering and patterning, as well as in intra- and inter-cellular signalling. Literature search, revealed very similar frequency patterns for wave resonances of nucleotides in aqueous solution, for a candidate RNA-catalyst, as well as for sound-induced vibrations evoked in thin vibrating membranes. This collective evidence points at a generalized biophysical algorithm underlying complexity in nature, evidently manifest in both animate and non-animate modalities. The detected Emf eigenfrequencies could be arithmetically scaled according to an adapted Pythagorean tuning. The mathematical analysis shows that the derived arithmetical scale exhibits a sequence of unique products of integer powers of 2, 3 and a factor .?This generalized semi-harmonic frequency spectrum may reflect a discrete pilot-wave structure that can be interpreted as a, so called, hidden variable in Bohm’s causal interpretation of quantum field theory.

Anaerobic digestion for waste water poultry manure by UBf reactor

In this experiment the performance of UBf process treatment for wastewater chicken manure was tested under the condition of constant temperature of 35℃ and the volume of UBf is 4 liters. The experiment covered two stages: the first was start up with phase I and phase II, the second was steady state. The following results average of operation period were obtained: (1) During the period of start up phase I operation the biogas production rate 0.39v/(***) at the volumetric COD loading rate of 2.97 kg COD/(m 3.d) with COD removal 76.85% and hydraulic retention time of 10.04 hours and phase II the biogas production rate 3.86 v/(***) at the volume loading rate 11.69 kg COD/(m 3.d) have been achieved with COD removal 82.47% and hRT 16.45 hours. UBf process had resistance to the quantitative shock load. (2) During the steady state operation, the biogas production rate 9.83v/(***) at loading rate of 28.85 kg COD/(m 3.d) and COD removal efficiency 80.03% and hydraulic retention time of 18.73 hours have been achieved for this reactor. The operation of UBf reactor was very stable.
