Fuel cell stack design and modelling with a double-stage boost converter coupled to a single-phase inverter

A comprehensive proton-exchange membrane fuel cell stack model was developed and integrated with a two-stage DC/DC boost converter. It was directly coupled to a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter without a transformer. The pulse-width modulation signal was used to independently regulate every converter phase. The converter was modelled using a mATLAB (R)/Simulink (R) environment and an appropriate voltage control method. The analysis features of the suggested circuit were created and, through established experiments, the simulation results were verified. A single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter control circuit was tested and it produced a pure sinusoidal waveform with voltage control. It matches the voltage of the network in terms of amplitude and frequency. A sinusoidal pulse-width modulation approach was performed using a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) pulse-width modulation inverter. The results demonstrated an enhancement in the standard of the output wave and tuned the dead time with a reduction of 63 mu s compared with 180 mu s in conventional techniques. A comprehensive model of a proton-exchange membrane fuel cell stack is integrated with a single-phase (two levels-four pulses) inverter without a transformer. Pulse-width modulation is used to independently regulate every converter phase. As a result, the dead time is reduced compared to conventional techniques. Graphical Abstract

In this study,we investigated the optical properties of charged black holes within the einstein-maxwellscalar(emS)*** evaluated the shadow cast by these black holes and obtained analytical solutions for both the radius of the photon sphere and that of the *** observed that black hole parametersγandβboth influence the shadow of black *** also found that the photon sphere and shadow radius increase as a consequence of the presence of the parameterγ.Interestingly,the shadow radius decreases first and then remains unchanged owing to the impact of the parameterβ.Finally,we analyzed the weak gravitational lensing and total magnification of lensed images around black *** found that the charge of the black holes and the parameterβboth have a significant impact,reducing the deflection ***,the same behavior for the total magnification was observed,also as a result of the effect of the charge of the black holes and the parameterβ.

The growing prevalence of fake images on the Internet and social media makes image integrity verification a crucial research *** of the most popular methods for manipulating digital images is image splicing,which involves copying a specific area from one image and pasting it into *** were made to mitigate the effects of image splicing,which continues to be a significant research *** study proposes a new splicing detectionmodel,combining Sonine functions-derived convex-based features and deep *** stages make up the proposed *** first step entails feature extraction,then classification using the“support vector machine”(SVm)to differentiate authentic and spliced *** proposed Sonine functions-based feature extraction model reveals the spliced texture details by extracting some clues about the probability of image *** proposed model achieved an accuracy of 98.93% when tested with the CASIA V2.0 dataset“Chinese Academy of Sciences,Institute of Automation”which is a publicly available dataset for forgery *** experimental results show that,for image splicing forgery detection,the proposed Sonine functions-derived convex-based features and deep features outperform state-of-the-art techniques in terms of accuracy,precision,and ***,the obtained detection accuracy attests to the benefit of using the Sonine functions alongside deep feature *** the regions or locations where image tampering has taken place is limited by the *** research will need to look into advanced image analysis techniques that can offer a higher degree of accuracy in identifying and localizing tampering regions.

Asphaltene precipitation can result in several production, operational, and transportation problems during oil recovery. If asphaltene precipitates and deposits, it can reduce reservoir permeability, damage wellbore equipment, and plug the pipelines. It is therefore extremely important to evaluate the conditions at which asphaltene precipitation occurs; this is referred to as the asphaltene onset *** onset pressure has been measured using many different experimental techniques. There have also been many attempts along the years to predict asphaltene onset pressure using mathematical correlations and models. This research provides an up-to-date comprehensive review of the methods by which asphaltene onset pressure can be measured using laboratory experiments and mathematical models. The research explains the main mechanisms of all the laboratory experiments to measure asphaltene onset pressure under static conditions and how to conduct them and highlights the advantages and limitations of each method. The research also provides a summary of the commonly used mathematical models to quantify asphaltene onset pressure directly and indirectly.

The motivation for this study is that the quality of deep fakes is constantly improving,which leads to the need to develop new methods for their *** proposed Customized Convolutional Neural Network method involves extracting structured data from video frames using facial landmark detection,which is then used as input to the *** customized Convolutional Neural Network method is the date augmented-based CNN model to generate‘fake data’or‘fake images’.This study was carried out using Python and its *** used 242 films from the dataset gathered by the Deep Fake Detection Challenge,of which 199 were made up and the remaining 53 were *** seconds were allotted for each *** were 318 videos used in all,199 of which were fake and 119 of which were *** proposedmethod achieved a testing accuracy of 91.47%,loss of 0.342,and AUC score of 0.92,outperforming two alternative approaches,CNN and ***,our method succeeded in greater accuracy than contemporary models such as XceptionNet,meso-4,efficientNet-BO,mesoInception-4,VGG-16,and *** novelty of this investigation is the development of a new Convolutional Neural Network(CNN)learning model that can accurately detect deep fake face photos.

We investigate the impact of the modified gravity(mOG)field and the quintessence scalar field on horizon evolution,black hole(BH)shadow and the weak gravitational lensing around a static spherically symmetric *** first begin to write the BH metric associated with the mOG parameter and quintessence scalar *** then determine the BH shadow and obtain numerical solutions for the photon sphere and shadow *** show that the mOG(α)and the quintessence(c)parameters have a significant impact on the BH shadow and photon *** on the analysis,we further show that the combined effects of the mOG parameter and quintessence field can increase the values of BH shadow and photon sphere *** also obtain constraints on the BH parameters by applying the observational data of Sgr A^(★)and m87^(★).Finally,we consider the weak deflection angle of BH within the context of the Gauss-Bonnet theorem(GBT)and show that the combined effects of the mOG and quintessence parameters do make the value of the deflection angle increase,and find this remarkable property is in good agreement with the physical meaning of both parameters that can maintain the strong gravitational field in the surrounding environment of a BH.

Dodecyl alcohol(DDA) is a promising solid-liquid phase change material(PCm) due to its favorable latent heat storage(LHS) ***,the leakage issue of PCm in a melted state during the heating period and low thermal conductivity restricts its utilization potential in thermal energy storage(TeS) *** the same context,the present work aims to overcome the leakage issue and improve the thermal conductivity of the *** this in mind,a novel leak-proof layered double hydroxide(LDH)/DDA composite PCm is proposed through a solution-based impregnation *** leak-proof impregnation ratio of the DDA impregnated within the cavities of the synthesized al/Fe-LDH was determined to be 60%.Detailed morphological,physicochemical,and thermal properties of the fabricated composite were studied by scanning electron microscopy(Sem),Fourier transforms infrared(FTIR) spectroscopy,X-ray diffraction(XRD)spectroscopy,differential scanning calorimetry(DSC),thermalgravimetric analysis(TGA),and thermal cycling *** results show that the LDH/DDA composite has a suitable phase change temperature(about 20℃) for passive solar thermal management of building *** composite PCm showed high LHS enthalpy(about136 J/g),good thermal stability,and cycling LHS *** also showed nearly 152% higher thermal conductivity compared to that of pure DDA,ultimately reducing the melting and solidification time of the pure DDA by 44.9% and 45.5%,respectively.
