Role-Based Access Control(RBAC)policies are at the core of Cybersecurity as they ease the enforcement of basic security principles,e.g.,Least Privilege and Separation of *** ICT systems and business processes evolve,RBAC policies have to be updated to prevent unauthorised access to resources by capturing errors and misalignments between the current policy and ***,such update process is a human-intensive activity and it is expected to meet specific *** paper proposes a semi-automatic RBAC maintenance process to fix and refine an RBAC state when“exceptions”and“violations”are *** are permissions some users realise they miss that are instrumental to their job and should be granted as soon as possible,while violations are permissions that have to be revoked since they are no longer required by their current *** propose a formalisation for the maintenance process which fixes single and multiple exceptions and violations by balancing two conflicting objectives,i.e.,(i)optimising the current RBAC state,and(ii)reducing the transition *** approach is based on a max-SAT formalisation of the constraint-based optimisation problem,and on PDDL planning to define the transition strategy with minimum *** implementation relies on incomplete max-SAT solvers and satisficing PDDL planners which provide approximations of optimal *** along with a comparative evaluation show good performance on real-world benchmarks.

Visible light communication(VLC)is currently recognized as a relevant technology for a wealth of possible application *** classes of services can be designed in both outdoor and indoor environments,exploiting the directionality of the optical channel and the low attainable *** features allow VLC to offer both spatial localization of users and wireless communication by using widespread high-power LEDs as simultaneous illumination and information *** the indoor scenario,one of the most promising deployments is expected in museums,where digital data can be cast by the specific illumination system of each artwork and received by visitors placed *** would enable a full set of services,aiming,e.g.,at an immersive experience in the augmented reality approach or at real-time localization of *** this work,we characterize for the first time the performance of a photodiode-based VLC system in a real museum environment,performing an extensive measurement campaign on several masterpieces(wall,canvas,and wood paintings)in the Basilica of Santa maria Novella in Florence,*** particular,we demonstrate the possibility of using indirect(diffused)illumination light to deliver specific information on each artwork to a *** characterize the quality of such non-line-of-sight VLC links by performing packet error rate measurements as a function of angle and distance from the artwork,and we measure the effective field of view(FoV)of our receiving stage,as well as the influence of side displacements of the receiver on the transmission quality,demonstrating that diffusive VLC links can also be used for efficient localization of users in front of each artwork in museum *** observed baud rates up to 28 kbaud and FoV values up to 60°for realistic distances up to 6 m,we believe our work could pave the way for future studies involving VLC in a wealth of indoor applications,beyond the cultural heritage sector.

AIm：To evaluate the functional outcome after removal of silicone oil（ROSO）in patients undergoing retinectomy for complex retinal detachment.·m ETHODS：We performed a retrospective case note review of patients who underwent ROSO after retinectomy for complex retinal *** with less than 6mo follow up and recurrent retinal detachment following ROSO were excluded.·RESULTS：Thirty-six patients were *** mean best corrected visual acuity（BCVA）pre-ROSO was1.13 log mAR（SD 0.5）.The mean BCVA 3mo following ROSO was 1.16 log mAR（SD 0.53）,6mo following ROSO1.13（SD 0.63）,and 12mo following ROSO 1.18（SD 0.69）.At 12mo after ROSO,the BCVA improved in 38.9%of patients,remained unchanged in 25%,and deteriorated in 36.1%,although there was no statistical significant difference in BCVA after ROSO at 3,6 and 12mo（=0.93）.The size of retinectomy ranged from 15°to 270°（SD 53）and did not influence the visual outcome（=0.11）.·C ONCLUSION：There was no statistically significant difference in BCVA between pre-and post-ROSO following retinectomy for complex retinal *** was no statistical difference in visual outcome related to the size of the retinectomy.

Tunable Super-Structured Fiber Bragg Gratings with Perfect Sequences Based on m-Sequence

Recently, a tunable fiber Bragg grating(FBG) was developed by using stress-responsive colloidal crystals. In this paper, we have simulated the application of these nanoparticles into the super-structured fiber Bragg grating(SSFBG) written with perfect sequences derived from a short maximal-length sequence. A tunable SSFBG will be available to overcome the prohibitive temperature variation of the optical codecs. Nevertheless,we presented a method to implement coherent time spreading optical code-division multiple-access(OCDmA) where a unique code(or perfect sequence) can be reused and mixed with different wavelengths to obtain a tunable wavelength-division multiplexing(WDm)system. In order to maximize the binary throughput, we have selected a unique short maximal-length sequence composed of 7 chips that can be tuned with 7 different optical wavelengths. We found thousands of different tunable combinations that presented power contrast ratios(P/C) higher than 12 dB. When a WDm-OCDmA system used 2 different combinations simultaneously, the perfect binary detection with error correction codes was achieved successfully. The tunable SSFBG with colloidal crystals will be a simple and good alternative choice for fiber-to-the-home(FTTH) communications.

In this study, six fish species of five families are reported for the first time from Yunnan Province, China. The nemacheilid Schistura amplizona Kottelat, 2000 is reported from the Luosuojiang River and Nanlahe River subbasins, mekong basin; the prochilodontid Prochilodus lineatus(Valenciennes, 1837), the balitorid Vanmanenia serrilineata Kottelat, 2000, and the tetraodontid monotrete turgidus Kottelat, 2000, from Nanlahe River subbasin, mekong basin; the balitorid Beaufortia daon(mai, 1978), and the belonid Xenentodon canciloides(Bleeker, 1854), both, from Black River subbasin, Red River basin. The freshwater puffer m. turgidus and the needlefish X. canciloides have been previously misidentified as Tetraodon leiurus(Bleeker, 1950) and Tylosurus strongylurus(van Hasselt, 1823), respectively.

To obtain a real-time image of atmospheric particulate matter (Pm) in highly polluted areas and to understand how the anthropogenic component linked to urban activities (industrial activities, domestic heating, road traffic, waste disposal) can locally affect near-surface measurement of Pm, several measurement campaigns were achieved in the Campania region (Southern Italy) using both Lidar and in-situ instruments. A comparison between the obtained results highlights a good correlation between the data and the potential of remote sensing instruments for air quality monitoring. Data analysis was performed in terms of particle backscattering coefficient profile at 355 nm, Pm mass concentration, and size distribution. Wind profiles, which covered a range of altitudes from 40 m to 290 m, were also used to study sources and physical processes involved. measurement carried out in a rural area with a landfill site highlighted the presence of a homogeneous particulate layer throughout the sounded area due to winds driving aerosol from the landfill to the surrounding areas. The size distribution in mass concentration, highlighted a modal diameter moving towards 0.9 and 2 μm with a larger mass concentration of particles in the morning, before noon and in the afternoon when a large number of trucks delivered solid wastes. moreover, large concentrations of particulate matter were measured in a small urban town with few industrial activities which peak (211 ± 33 μg·m-3) was measured in the direction of the most urbanized area, probably due to the lighting of the domestic heating systems. Bimodal size distribution in number concentration was measured, indicative of two types of atmospheric particles sources: gas and liquid combustion (particles with sizes below 80 nm), including vehicular traffic and domestic gas-heating, and biomass combustion (particles with sizes of the order of 200 - 500 nm).
