Photocatalysis is an ideal and promising green technology to drive numerous chemical reactions for valued chemicals production under very mild conditions,thereby providing solutions to global energy and environment issues related to burning fossil *** the past decade,layered double hydroxides(LDHs),as the members in two-dimensional materials family,have attracted much attention due to their many advantages in photocatalysis,such as facile synthesis,low cost and powerful tunability of *** this review,we provide a synthetic overview of recent research advances of LDH-based photocatalysts,with the main discussion of the design strategies to improve their photocatalytic performance,including component control,defect engineering,hybridization,and topological ***-performance correlations and tailor-made material synthesis strategies are elaborated to discuss how to realize high-performance LDH-based photocatalysts for three important reactions(i.e.,water splitting,cO_(2)conversion,and N2 reduction)to generate desirable solar ***,the remaining challenges and future perspectives of LDH-based photocatalysts are summed up,aiming to inspire brand new solutions for pushing forward the development of LDH-based photocatalysis.

Effect of Plastic Deformation and H_2S on Dynamic Fracture Toughness of High Strength casing Steel

The effects of plastic deformation and H2 S on fracture toughness of high strength casing steel（c110 steel） were investigated. The studied casing specimens are as follows： original casing, plastic deformation（PD） casing and PD casing after being immersed in NAcE A solution saturated with H2S（PD＋H2S）. Instrumented impact method was employed to evaluate the impact behaviors of the specimens, meanwhile, dynamic fracture toughness（JId） was calculated by using Rice model and Schindler model. The experimental results show that dynamic fracture toughness of the casing decreases after plastic deformation. compared with that of the original casing and PD casing, the dynamic fracture toughness decreases further when the PD casing immersed in H2 S, moreover, there are ridge-shaped feature and many secondary cracks present on the fracture surface of the specimens. Impact fracture mechanism of the casing is proposed as follows： the plastic deformation results in the increase of defect density of materials where the atomic hydrogen can accumulate in reversible or irreversible traps and even recombine to form molecular hydrogen, subsequently, the casing material toughness decreases greatly.

High-temperature energy storage performance of dielectric capacitors is cru-cial for the next generation of power electronic ***,conduction losses rise sharply at elevated temperature,limiting the application of energy storage ***,the mica films magnetron sputtered by different insulating layers are specifically investigated,which exhibit the excellent high-temperature energy storage *** experimental results revealed that the PbZrO3/Al2O3/PbZrO3(PZO/AO/PZO)interface insulating layers can effec-tively reduce the high-temperature leakage current and conduction loss of the composite ***,the ultrahigh energy storage density(Wrec)and charge‒discharge efficiency(η)can be achieved simultaneously in the flexi-ble mica-based composite ***,PZO/AO/PZO/mica/PZO/AO/PZO(PAPmPAP)films possess excellent Wrec of 27.5 J/cm3 andηof 87.8%at 200◦c,which are significantly better than currently reported high-temperature capaci-tive energy storage dielectric *** with outstanding power density and electrical cycling stability,the flexible films in this work have great appli-cation potential in high-temperature energy storage ***,the magnetron sputtering technology can deposit large-area nanoscale insulating layers on the surface of capacitor films,which can provide technical support for the industrial production of capacitors.

microstructure and mechanical properties of cast mg-15Al-xNd alloy by permanent mold

To improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of mg-15AI magnesium alloy, different amounts （from 0 to 4.0wt.%） of Nd were added to the alloy and six mg-15AI-xNd alloys were prepared by metal mould casting. The effect of Nd content on microstructure of the alloys was investigated by means of Om, SEm, EDS, TEm, and XRD. The tensile properties were tested at room temperature （RT） and high temperature （473 K）. The results indicate that the primary a-mg dendrite is significantly refined with the addition of Nd. The best refinement is reached at 1.0wt.% Nd content and the average dendrite arm spacing decreases from 80- 100 pm （without Nd addition） to -20 pm. A further increase in Nd content leads to the coarsening of the primary a-mg dendrite. The addition of Nd improves the tensile properties of mg-15AI both at RT and 473 K. The mg-15AI alloy containing 1.0wt.% Nd exhibits the best tensile properties. compared with the alloy without Nd, the yield and ultimate tensile strength of the mg-15AI-1.0Nd alloy at RT increase from 132.3 to 148.6 mPa and 152.3 to 189.6 mPa, increase by 12.3% and 24.5%, respectively; and the elongation at RT increases from 0.05 % to 1.24%. The yield and tensile strength of the alloy at 473 K increase from 97.9 to 115.3 mPa and 121.6 to 140.1 mPa, increase by 15.2% and 20%, respectively. Further increment of Nd content to 1.5wt.% degrades the tensile properties, which is ascribed to grain coarsening and growth of the AI-Nd phase.

A Numerical Investigation of the Stress Relief Zones Around a Longwall Face in the Lower Seam for Gas Drainage considerations

Extraction of a protective coal seam (PVcS)-below or above a coal seam to be mined with the potential of coal andgas outburst risk-plays an important role not only in decreasing the stress field in the surrounding rock mass but alsoin increasing the gas desorption capacity and gas flow permeability in the protected coal seam (PTcS). The PVcSis mined to guarantee the safe mining of the PTcS. This study has numerically evaluated the stress redistributioneffects using FLAc3D model for a longwall face in Shanxi Province. The effects of mining depth, mining height andinter-burden rock mass properties were evaluated using the stress relief angle and stress relief coefficient. Verticalstress distribution, stress relief angle and stress relief coefficient in the PTcS were analyzed as the face advancedin the PVcS. The results showed that the stress relief achieved in different locations of the PTcS varied as the faceadvanced. Sensitivity analyses on the pertinent variables indicate that the stress relief in the PTcS is affected mostby the mining depth followed by the inter-burden lithology and the mining height. Furthermore, the elastic moduliof different layers within the inter-burden rock mass are more important than their uniaxial compressive strength(UcS) and Poisson’s ratio. These observations can guide gas drainage borehole design to minimize the accidentsof coal and gas outbursts.

First scanning Fabry–Perot interferometer developed in china

A scanning Fabry–Perot interferometer(SFPI)was first developed and deployed at the Langfang near Space Environment Field Scientific Observation Station(39.38°N,116.65°E)of the National Space Science center,*** instrument is designed to measure the mesospheric and thermospheric wind velocities using the atomic oxygen 557.7-nm and 630.0-nm *** from February 28 to march 3and February 28 to march 15 in 2011 were chosen for case study and mean value study,*** errors of the meridional and zonal winds are 6.5 and 7.5 m/s at 557.7-nm and at 630.0-nm,they are 7.1 and 6.6 m/s,*** the whole experiment,the instrument has performed in good condition and provided high-quality *** mean neutral wind data were consistent with that predicted by *** agreement has been found in between the SFPI and a neighbor meridian Project Fabry–Perot interferometer(mP FPI),with a corresponding coefficient(r2)larger than 80%.In general,the scanning FPI meets the design goal,and it is a useful ground-based instrument for measuring mesospheric and thermospheric winds at middle latitudes and is able to provide high-quality data for future scientific studies.

comparison of visual effects of FS-LASIK for myopia centered on the coaxially sighted corneal light reflex or the line of sight

AIm：To compare visual quality after femtosecond laser in situ keratomileusis（FS-LASIK）,between the coaxially sighted corneal light reflex（cScLR） group and conventional ablation line of sight（LOS） ***：In total,243 eyes（122 patients） were treated with centration on the cScLR（visual axis） and 238 eyes（119 patients） treated with centration on the pupil center（LOS）.Postoperative outcomes [uncorrected visual acuity（UcVA）,best spectacle-corrected visual acuity（BScVA）],safety index,efficacy index,refractive outcome,ablation center distance from the visual axis,corneal high-order aberrations,subjective discomfort glare and shadowing incidence rate,and contrast sensitivity at 1,3,and 6mo were measured and ***：The mean age was 27.77±7.1y in the cScLR group and 26.03±7.70 y in the LOS ***,the manifest refraction spherical equivalent（mRSE） was-6.68±2.60 D in the cScLR group and-6.65±2.68 D in the LOS *** postoperative UcVA,BScVA,mRSE（-0.03±0.263 D in the cScLR group,-0.05±0.265 D in the LOS group）,efficacy index（1.04,1.03）,and safety index（1.09,1.08） were not significantly different between the groups（all P〉0.05）.In total,3% lost one line and more of BScVA in the cScLR group,as 9% in the LOS group postoperatively（P〈0.05）.The ablation center deviation was 0.20±0.15 mm from the visual axis（Pentacam system default setting;range,0-0.75 mm） in the cScLR group,and 0.43±0.22 mm（range,0-1.32 mm） in the LOS group（P〈0.0001）.Statistically significant greater augmentationof total corneal higher-order aberrations（0.15±0.10 μm and 0.20±0.12 μm respectively,P=0.03） and vertical and horizontal coma（P〈0.0001） were noted in the LOS *** discomfort glare and shadowing incidence rates were 8.59% and 17.5% in the cScLR and LOS groups,respectively（P〈0.05）.The 1-month postoperative contrast sensitivity visual acuity in the cScLR group was significantly higher than that in the LOS group on contrast（100%,25%,10%） with a dark background,but there
