In this paper,layered periodic foundations(LPFs)are numerically examined for their responses to longitudinal and transverse modes in the time and frequency *** different unit-cells,i.e.,2-layer,4-layer,and 6-layer unit-cells,comprising concrete/rubber,concrete/rubber/steel/rubber,and concrete/rubber/steel/rubber/lead/rubber materials,respectively,are taken into ***,the viscoelasticity behavior of the rubber is modeled with two factors,i.e.,a frequency-independent(FI)loss factor and a linear frequency-dependent(FD)loss *** the extraction of the complex dispersion curves and the identification of the band gaps(BGs),the simulations of wave transmission in the time and frequency domains are performed using the cOmSOL *** parametric studies evaluate the effects of the rubber viscoelasticity models on the dispersion curves and the wave transmission for the longitudinal and transverse *** results show that considering the rubber viscoelasticity enhances the wave attenuation ***,the transverse-mode damping is more sensitive to the viscoelasticity model than its longitudinal *** 6-layer unit-cell LPF exhibits the lowest BG,ranging from 4.8 Hz to 6.5 Hz.

Introduction: One in two cardiac patients fear having another heart event or their heart condition getting worse. Research in other chronic illnesses demonstrates that screening for fear of progression and recurrence is vital for adequately addressing such concerns in clinical care. The current project aims to develop and validate a measure for fear of progression and recurrence in cardiac ***: The Fear of cardiac Recurrence and Progression Scale (FcRP) will be developed through a multistep process. An initial item pool will be generated through a review of the literature and existing measures and consultation with and feedback from key informants. The item pool will be tested in a sample of over 250 adults who have ever had an acute coronary event, undergone cardiac surgery, or a chronic cardiac condition. Exploratory factor analysis will be used to identify the underlying factors, and Rasch analysis will be used to reduce the number of items. A short form version of the FcRP will be developed for use as a brief screening tool, informed by clinical relevance and Rasch psychometric ***: While many cardiac patients experience fears related to the progression or recurrence of their illness, there remains the need for a validated tool with which these concerns can be identified and measured. It is expected that the design and validation of the FcRP will aid identification of cardiac patients suffering from clinically significant levels of fear of progression and recurrence and facilitate the design of tailored psychological interventions to target these fears.

This article improves and advances the results achieved by Vishal and Naveen, leveraging the use of Lebesgue integrable functions. Going beyond, we investigate fixed point theorems associated with a concept introduced by Ovidiu Popescu. Our research not only bolsters the theoretical framework but also unveils practical applications in the domain of Lebesgue integrals as in Example 3.6. Furthermore, our contribution enhances the understanding of fixed point theorems in metric spaces and introduces novel perspectives in the study of generalized α-Geraghty contractive mappings on Lebesgue integrals.

A 63-year-old man with diabetes and asymptomatic coronary artery disease developed refractory ventricular arrhythmia at 20 hours at rest after his second cOVID-19 vaccine. Despite significant stenosis in the coronary arteries, there was no evidence of acute or old myocardial infarction, heart failure, myocarditis or structural abnormalities on post-mortem to account for the substrate for the fatal arrhythmia. The refractory and incessant nature of the ventricular fibrillation and post-mortem finding of a grossly elevated unexplained IgE level (in the absence of acute myocardial infarction) suggested the possibility of Kounis Syndrome or allergic acute coronary syndrome.

Due to the dynamic nature and node mobility,assuring the security of mobile Ad-hoc Networks(mANET)is one of the difficult and challenging tasks *** mANET,the Intrusion Detection System(IDS)is crucial because it aids in the identification and detection of malicious attacks that impair the network’s regular *** machine learning and deep learning methodologies are used for this purpose in the conventional works to ensure increased security of ***,it still has significant flaws,including increased algorithmic complexity,lower system performance,and a higher rate of ***,the goal of this paper is to create an intelligent IDS framework for significantly enhancing mANET security through the use of deep learning ***,the min-max normalization model is applied to preprocess the given cyber-attack datasets for normalizing the attributes or fields,which increases the overall intrusion detection performance of ***,a novel Adaptive marine Predator Optimization Algorithm(AOmA)is implemented to choose the optimal features for improving the speed and intrusion detection performance of ***,the Deep Supervise Learning classification(DSLc)mechanism is utilized to predict and categorize the type of intrusion based on proper learning and training *** evaluation,the performance and results of the proposed AOmA-DSLc based IDS methodology is validated and compared using various performance measures and benchmarking datasets.

In dye-photocatalysis, widening the wavelengths absorption range of catalysts as well as aborting the recombination of the photoexcited charge carriers(electrons-holes pairs) are of paramount *** the current study, we report the photocatalytic characteristics of four compositions composed of TiO_(2),Ti_(0.97)cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders for two harmful dyes(congo red and methylene blue). The X-ray diffraction technique verified the configuration of mixed anatase and rutile phases in pure TiO_(2)and Ti_(0.97)cu_(0.03)O_(2)powders while Ti_(0.965)cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders possess anatase phase only. The changes of the band gap structure and dimensions of the unit cell volume of TiO_(2)confirm the substitution of Ti^(4+)sites by cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions. Remarkable widening of wavelengths absorption with formation of long absorption tails were found in TiO_(2)(3.13 e V) through insertion of La^(3+)plus cu^(2+)ions. Ti_(0.965)cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)samples exhibit a visible light band gap of 2.3 and 2.7 e V, respectively. Based on SEm images, incorporation of cu^(2+)and La^(3+)ions influences the surface morphology of TiO_(2). The resulting Ti_(0.97)cu_(0.03)O_(2), Ti_(0.965)cu_(0.03)La_(0.005)O_(2)and Ti_(0.96)cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)powders present enhanced photocatalytic activity towards congo red dye degradation compared to pure one under natural solar spectrum. The best Ti_(0.96)cu_(0.03)La_(0.01)O_(2)catalyst exhibits superior photocatalytic activity of 96% for 10 ppm cR dye in 20 min as well as above average photocatalytic efficiency of 63% for 30 ppm cR dye in 120 min. As well, it showed acceptable photodegradation activity of 52% for 30 ppm mB solution in 140 min of sunlight irradiation. Effective calcium (ca) management is crucial for optimizing oil palm cultivation and enhancing crop yield. This study aimed to gain insights into the dynamics of ca concentration, accumulation, exportation, immobilization, and recycling in various oil palm organs relative to plant age. The experiment was conducted at the Agropalma enterprise site in the northeastern region of Pará State, Brazil, evaluating seven plant age treatments: 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 years old. Employing a completely randomized design with four replications. The results demonstrated an age-related increase in ca concentration in petioles, rachis, arrows, male inflorescences, peduncles, and fruits. Furthermore, ca accumulation exhibited an upward trend in all organs with progressing plant age. Notably, the study revealed an enhanced ca use efficiency across all plant organs in correlation with the age of oil palm cultivation. These findings underscore the dynamic nutritional demands of oil palm, influencing ca immobilization, cycling, and export throughout its developmental stages. © 2024 the Oil crop Research Institute, chinese Academy of Agriculture Sciences
