The high Si-bearing 15cr-9Ni-Nb metastable austenitic stainless steel weld metal was prepared via gas tungsten arc welding and then processed by stabilized heat treatment(SHT)at 850℃ for 3 *** effects of 550℃ aging on the α'-martensitic transformation of the as-welded and the SHT weld metals were *** results showed that the weld metal had poor thermal stability of *** precipitation of Nbc during the 850℃ SHT made the thermal stability of the local matrix decrease and led to the formation of a large amount of c-depleted α'-*** precipitation of coarse σ-phase at the δ-ferrite led to the cr-depleted zone and the formation of cr-depleted α'-martensite at the early stage of 550℃ *** homogenized diffusion of c and cr in the matrix during 550℃ aging led to the restoration of austenitic thermal stability and the decrease of α'-martensite *** c-depleted α'-martensite content in the SHT weld metal decreased rapidly at the early stage of aging due to the fast diffusion rate of the c atom in the matrix,while the cr-depleted α'-martensite decreased at the later stage of aging due to the decreased diffusion rate of the cr.

The non-ionizing and penetrative characteristics of terahertz(THz)radiation have recently led to its adoption across a variety of *** effectively utilize THz radiation,modulators with precise control are *** most recent THz modulators manipulate the amplitude,frequency,or phase of incident THz radiation,considerably less progress has been made toward THz polarization *** methods for polarization control suffer from high driving voltages,restricted modulation depth,and narrow band capabilities,which hinder device performance and broader ***,an ideal THz modulator that offers high modulation depth along with ease of processing and operation is *** this paper,we propose and realize a THz metamaterial comprised of microelectromechanical systems(mEmS)actuated by the phase-transition material vanadium dioxide(VO_(2)).Simulation and experimental results of the three-dimensional metamaterials show that by leveraging the unique phase-transition attributes of VO_(2),our THz polarization modulator offers notable advancements over existing designs,including broad operation spectrum,high modulation depth,ease of fabrication,ease of operation condition,and continuous modulation *** enhanced features make the system a viable candidate for a range of THz applications,including telecommunications,imaging,and radar systems.

methods for horizontal well spacing calculation in tight gas reservoirs are still adversely affected by the complexity of related control factors,such as strong reservoir heterogeneity and seepage *** this study,the stress sensitivity and threshold pressure gradient of various types of reservoirs are quantitatively evaluated through reservoir seepage *** the basis of these experiments,a numerical simulation model(based on the special seepage mechanism)and an inverse dynamic reserve algorithm(with different equivalent drainage areas)were *** well spacing ranges of classes I,II,and III wells in the Q gas field are determined to be 802–1,000,600–662,and 285–400 m,respectively,with their average ranges as 901,631,and 342.5 m,*** considering both the pairs of parallel well groups and series well groups as examples,the reliability of the calculation results is *** is shown that the combination of the two models can reduce errors and provide accurate results.

In this paper,we propose a doping approach to lower the error floor of Low-Density Parity-check(LDPc)*** doping component is a short block code in which the information bits are selected from the coded bits of the dominant trapping sets of the LDPc ***,an algorithm for selecting the information bits of the short code is proposed,and a specific two-stage decoding algorithm is *** results demonstrate that the proposed doped LDPc code achieves up to 2.0 dB gain compared with the original LDPc code at a frame error rate of 10^(-6)Furthermore,the proposed design can lower the error floor of original LDPc codes.

The aim of this work is to predict,for the first time,the high temperature flow stress dependency with the grain size and the underlaid deformation mechanism using two machine learning models,random forest(RF)and artificial neural network(ANN).With that purpose,a ZK30 magnesium alloy was friction stir processed(FSP)using three different severe conditions to obtain fine grain microstructures(with average grain sizes between 2 and 3μm)prone to extensive superplastic *** three friction stir processed samples clearly deformed by grain boundary sliding(GBS)deformation mechanism at high *** maximum elongations to failure,well over 400% at high strain rate of 10^(-2)s^(-1),were reached at 400℃ in the material with coarsest grain size of 2.8μm,and at 300℃ for the finest grain size of 2μ***,the superplastic response decreased at 350℃ and 400℃ due to thermal instabilities and grain coarsening,which makes it difficult to assess the operative deformation mechanism at such *** work highlights that the machine learning models considered,especially the ANN model with higher accuracy in predicting flow stress values,allow determining adequately the superplastic creep behavior including other possible grain size scenarios.

The commercialization of silicon-based anodes is affected by their low initial coulombic efficiency(IcE)and capacity decay,which are attributed to the formation of an unstable solid electrolyte interface(SEI)***,a feasible and cost-effective prelithiation method under a localized highconcentration electrolyte system(LHcE)for the silicon-silica/graphite(Si-SiO_(2)/c@G)anode is designed for stabilizing the SEI layer and enhancing the *** thin SiO_(2)/c layers with-NH_(2) groups covered on nano-Si surfaces are demonstrated to be beneficial to the prelithiation process by density functional theory calculations and electrochemical *** SEI formed under LHcE is proven to be rich in ionic conductivity,inorganic substances,and flexible organic ***,faster Li+transportation across the SEI further enhances the prelithiation effect and the rate performance of Si-SiO_(2)/c@G *** also leads to uniform decomposition and high stability of the SEI with abundant organic *** a result,the prepared anode shows a high reversible specific capacity of 937.5 mAh g^(-1)after 400 cycles at a current density of 1 *** 811‖Li-SSGLHcE full cell achieves a high-capacity retention of 126.15 mAh g^(-1)at 1 c over 750 cycles with 84.82%IcE,indicating the great value of this strategy for Si-based anodes in large-scale applications.

cerebral autosomal dominant arteriopathy with subcortical infarcts and leukoencephalopathy (cADASIL) is a monogenic small vessel disease caused by mutations in the NOTcH3 gene. However, the pathogenesis of cADASIL remains unclear, and patients have limited treatment options. Here, we use human induced pluripotent stem cells (hiPScs) generated from the peripheral blood mononuclear cells of a patient with cADASIL carrying a heterozygous NOTcH3 mutation (c.1261c>T, p.R421c) to develop a disease model. The correction efficiency of different adenine base editors (ABEs) is tested using the HEK293T-NOTcH3 reporter cell line. ABEmax is selected based on its higher efficiency and minimization of predicted off-target effects. Vascular smooth muscle cells (VSmcs) differentiated from cADASIL hiPScs show NOTcH3 deposition and abnormal actin cytoskeleton structure, and the abnormalities are recovered in corrected hiPSc-derived VSmcs. Furthermore, cADASIL blood vessel organoids generated for in vivo modeling show altered expression of genes related to disease phenotypes, including the downregulation of cell adhesion, extracellular matrix organization, and vessel development. The dual adeno-associated virus (AAV) split-ABEmax system is applied to the genome editing of vascular organoids with an average editing efficiency of 8.82%. collectively, we present potential genetic therapeutic strategies for patients with cADASIL using blood vessel organoids and the dual AAV split-ABEmax system.
