The objective of the this study is to investigate the effects of cutting parameters on thermal characteristics, including practical cutting regions, the formation of the kerfwidth and the heat transfer phenomenon, in the cutting of Inconel 718 super-alloy sheets using a cW Nd：YAG laser. From the results of the experiments, the influence of process parameters on both the practical cutting region and the kerfwidth has been examined. In addition, it has been shown that the kerfwidth of the specimen lies in the range of 0.53-0.61 mm. In order to examine characteristics of the heat transfer during the laser cutting process, a three-dimensional quasi-steady heat transfer analysis has been performed using the commercial code SYSWELD V9.0. From the results of the analysis, the influence of cutting parameters on the temperature distribution in the vicinity of the cut section has been quantitatively evaluated. Based on these results, optimal cutting conditions have been estimated.

激光焊接工艺参数不仅影响铝合金结构件的残余应力,而且影响其服役性能,探究参数与应力场的关系对提高焊接结构件的质量具有重要的意义。采用圆锥热源模型对厚度为5 mm的7075-T7351铝合金板材进行激光焊接数值模拟,分析焊接速度和激光能量两个关键参数对焊接残余应力场的影响规律,并借助实验验证模拟结果的准确性,揭示7075铝合金激光焊接工艺参数与应力场的关系。研究结果表明:残余应力会随着焊接速度的增加而不断增大,但当焊速超过一定值后焊核区应力不再增加,最大应力逐渐向两侧扩展;激光能量越大,导致残余应力降低且最大残余应力分布区域逐渐扩大;获得7075铝合金激光焊的最佳工艺窗口,焊接速度5~7 mm/s,激光焊接能量70~100 J/mm。所得研究成果在7075铝合金激光焊接工艺优化的周期缩短和成本降低方面具有一定的价值和意义。

The joint European Space Agency and chinese Academy of Sciences Solar wind magnetosphere Ionosphere Link Explorer(SmILE)mission will explore global dynam.c. of the magnetosphere under varying solar wind and interplanetary magnetic field conditions,and simultaneously monitor the auroral response of the Northern Hemisphere *** these large-scale responses with medium and fine-scale measurements at a variety of cadences by additional ground-based and space-based instruments will enable a m.c. greater scientific impact beyond the original goals of the SmILE ***,we describe current community efforts to prepare for SmILE,and the benefits and context various experiments that have explicitly expressed support for SmILE can offer.A dedicated group of international scientists representing many different experiment types and geographical locations,the Ground-based and Additional Science Working Group,is facilitating these *** include constructing an online SmILE Data Fusion Facility,the discussion of particular or special modes for experiments such as coherent and incoherent scatter radar,and the consideration of particular observing strategies and spacecraft *** anticipate growing interest and community engagement with the SmILE mission,and we welcome novel ideas and insights from the solar-terrestrial community.

Bird plumage color has been assessed as a possible trait driving the presence of bird species in urban *** some species can see the ultraviolet(UV) spectrum,the mentioned studies did not take into account UV reflectance when characterizing bird *** study aimed to use a recent database of the colorfulness in passerines that incorporated the UV spectrum to compare bird colorfulness and other traits between urban parks and rural areas in central-East *** in urban parks were surveyed in 51 parks in 6 cities during breeding and non-breeding seasons.A list of Passeriformes species from parks was created,and a list of urban avoider species was created from the *** traits were body mass,clutch size,migratory status,nesting site,diet and habitat breadth,and plumage colorfulness.A total of 85 species were detected in the regional pool,of which 30 species were detected in urban *** species present in urban parks were more colorful than bird species only present in rural *** addition,bird presence in urban parks was positively related to their regional frequency and diet ***,urban presence was related to nesting on trees and buildings,whereas species not present in urban parks nested on the *** results obtained showed that bird color is significantly associated with presence of bird species in urban parks.

We revisit the problem of adsorption of a single^(4)He layer on graphene,focusing on the commensurate(c_(1/3))crystalline phase,specifically on whether it may possess a nonzero superfluid response,and on the existence of superfluid phases,either(metastable)liquid or vacancy-doped *** make use of canonical quantum monte carlo simulations at zero and finite temperature,based on a realistic m.c.oscopic model of the *** results confirm the absence of any superfluid response in the commensurate crystal,and that no thermodynam.c.lly stable uniform phase exists at lower *** evidence of a possibly long-lived,metastable superfluid phase at c_(1/3)coverage is ***,the results of ground-state projection methods and finite-temperature simulations are entirely consistent.

For more than six decades, chrom.c.acid anodizing （cAA） has been the central process in the surface pre-treatment of aluminum for adhesively bonded aircraft structures. Unfortunately, this electrolyte contains hexavalent chromium （cr（VI））, a compound known for its toxicity and carcinogenic properties. To comply with the new strict international regulations, the cr（VI）-era will soon have to come to an end. Anodizing aluminum in acid electrolytes produces a self-ordered porous oxide layer. Although different acids can be used to create this type of structure, the excellent adhesion and corrosion resistance that is currently achieved by the complete cr（VI）-based process is not easily matched. This paper provides a critical overview and appraisal of proposed alternatives to cAA, including combinations of multiple anodizing steps, pre- and post anodizing treatments. The work is presented in terms of the modifications to the oxide properties, such as morphological features （e.g., pore size, barrier layer thickness） and surface chemistry, in order to evaluate the link between fundamental principles of adhesion and bond performance.
