Influence of curing conditions on the shrinkage behavior of three-dimensional printed concrete formwork

The use of three-dimensional(3D)printed concrete as formwork is becoming more widely applied within the ***,the technology is still not optimized and there are many reports of preliminary cracking during the curing of cast *** is believed to result from differential shrinkage between the printed and cast *** cracks(in the printed concrete or at the interface between the infill and printed concrete)form a preferential path for aggressive substances and can reduce the durability of the combined concrete *** ensure the desired service life of the structure,it is important that the differential shrinkage between cast and printed concrete is *** study investigated the effect of curing conditions on the differential shrinkage behavior of 3D and cast *** influence of prewetting of the dry-cured 3D printed formwork was also *** the experimental program,a vibrated and self-compacting concrete were used as cast *** 3D printed formwork was produced and combined with cast concrete to simulate a concrete *** formwork was cured for 1,7,or 28 d exposed to the air(relative humidity:60%or 95%)or submerged in *** length change of the combined elements was observed over 56 d after concrete casting and throughout the thickness of the *** show that increasing the curing period in dry conditions of the printed concrete leads to an expansion of the formwork on the first day after *** expansion leads to a non-uniform strain evolution throughout the curing period of the combined *** concrete formwork stored in wet conditions does not expand after the casting process but tends to show a decreasing linear deformation within the whole elements.

We report the first genetic linkage map of the catfish Lophiosilurus alexandri,a South American threatened and promising aquaculture catfish *** the progeny of three full-sib families,with 141,74,and 49 offspring,respectively,we could genotype 2351 SNP markers using the ddRAD technology,shared by the male and the female maps *** averaged,female and male maps spanned a total length of 2201.3 cm,2481.9 cm,and 1872.8 cm,respectively,and comprehended the expected 27 linkage groups according to the karyotype information of the species(2n=54).The recombination rate was nearly twice higher in the female than in the male *** average map was used to estimate the historical effective population size(Ne)of the species from linkage disequilibrium between pairs of SNPs using parental individuals and revealed a remarkable drop in Ne about 20-25 generations in the *** construction of the biggest artificial reservoir in Latin America and associated nutrient retention is pointed as a possible reason for such a reduction and suggests a reevaluation of the conservation status of the *** current map lays the groundwork for understanding the genetic basis of economically important traits in breeding programs and will be useful for the genome assembly of this important commercial species.

men with obesity often present with low testosterone(T)and sex hormone-binding globulin(SHBG)*** mechanisms for this have been proposed,but as SHBG is secreted by hepatocytes and sex steroids undergo hepatic metabolization,this study investigates whether severity and histological components of nonalcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD)are associated with sex steroid levels in obese *** cross-sectional study included 80 obese men(age:46±11 years;body mass index:42.2±5.5 kg m^-2).Serum levels of total T and estradiol(E.)were measured using liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectroscopy(LC/mS-mS)and SHBG and gonadotropins by *** biopsies were evaluated using ***,and Fibrosis *** with steatohepatitis had similar median(1st quartile-3rd quartile)total T levels(7.6[5.0-11.0]nmol l^-1 vs 8.2[7.2-10.9]nmol l^-1;P=0.147),lower calculated free T(cFT)levels(148.9[122.9-188.8]pmol 1-1 s 199.5[157.3-237.6] pmol l^-1;P=0.006),and higher free E.T ratios(10.0[6.4-13.9]×10^-3 vs 7.1[5.7-10.7]×10^-3;P=0.026)compared to men with only nonalcoholic fatty *** the histological components of *** steatosis was independently associated with total T(r=-0.331.P=0.003)and cFT levels(r=-0.255.P=0.025).Obese men *** have even lower cFT levels compared to those without,an association mainly driven by grade of *** this reflects a subgroup of men with a more severe obesity-related phenotype or results from direct relations between hepatic steatosis and sex steroid metabolism needs further investigation.
