An inorganicDorganic hybrid crystalline material(Simo_(12)O_(40))[Cu(2,2'-bipy)_(2)]_(2)·2H_(2)O(Complex 1,2,2'-bipy=2,2'-bipyridine)was synthesized for the first time by using 2,2'-bipy and transition metal copper to convert Waugh-type polyoxometalate[mnmo_(9)O_(3)_(2)]_(6-)into a Keggin polyoxometalate structure[Simo_(12)O_(40)]^(4-)under hydrothermal conditions in glass *** crystal tests and a series of characterizations were carried out on Complex *** structure of Complex 1 is composed of[Simo_(12)O_(40)]^(4-)and[Cu^(Ⅱ)(2,2'-bipy)_(2)]^(2+).The five-coordinated Cu is connected to two 2,2'-bipy through CuDN bonds,forming an approximately square ***,Complex 1 exhibited good photocatalytic performance for methylene blue degradation and electrocatalytic nitrite reduction properties simultaneously.

multi-phase machines are so attractive for electrical machine designers because of their valuable advantages such as high reliability and fault tolerant ***,fractional slot concentrated windings(FSCW)are well known because of short end winding length,simple structure,field weakening sufficiency,fault tolerant capability and higher slot fill *** five-phase machines equipped with FSCW,are very good candidates for the purpose of designing motors for high reliable applications,like electric cars,major transporting buses,high speed trains and massive ***,in comparison to the general distributed windings,the FSCWs contain high magnetomotive force(mmF)space harmonic contents,which cause unwanted effects on the machine ability,such as localized iron saturation and core *** manuscript introduces several new five-phase fractional slot winding layouts,by the means of slot shifting concept in order to design the new types of synchronous reluctance motors(SynRels).In order to examine the proposed winding’s performances,three sample machines are designed as case studies,and analytical study and finite element analysis(FEA)is used for validation.

In this study, a series of Gd^(3+)-doped mixed ni-Cu-Zn ferrites with composition of Zn_(0.5)ni_(0.3)Cu_(0.2)Fe_(2-x)Gd_(x)O_(4)(x = 0, 0.025, 0.05, 0.075, 0.1) was prepared using self-ignition sol-gel method. The prepared nanoparticles with an average size ranging from 22 to 26 nm show a single-phase cubic structure belonging to the spinel matrix. A rise in the Gd^(3+)concentration leads to an increase in crystallite size and lattice parameter. In Fourier transform infrared spectra, two main absorption bands belonging to the spinel structure are observed. The high-frequency bands(v_(1)) represent the tetrahedral complex, while the lowfrequency bands(v_(2)) signify the octahedral complex. The optical bandgap of the nanoferrites is found within the range of 2.91 to 2.41 eV, depending on their size. The magnetic characteristics of the material,such as saturation magnetization and coercivity are significantly altered with the concentration of Gd^(3+)in the solution. Using Rhodamine b(Rhb) as a model organic pollutant, an in-depth investigation of the photocatalytic activity of the compounds was carried out. The present outcomes show that adding an adequate amount of Gd^(3+)significantly enhances the number of hydroxyl radicals produced by the ferrite,in turn, increasing the photocatalytic activity of the material. mechanism elucidated by scavenger studies reveals that ·OH and holes are the primary reactive radicals responsible for the degradation *** photocatalysts show an insignificant performance loss in five consecutive cycles. Thus, it is concluded that these photocatalysts are highly suitable for the remediation of dye-contaminated wastewater.

Oxidative therapies receive a limited antitumor efficiency due to the insufficient reactive oxygen species(ROS)levels at focal sites and the evolvement of antioxidant defense ***,we develop an albumin-based nanomedicine to co-deliver chlorin e6(Ce6)and COH-SR4(CS),which can simultaneously enhance the yield and lethality of intracellular ROS for amplified photodynamic therapy(PDT).In which,CS acts as both an activator of AmP-activated protein kinase(AmPK)and an inhibitor of glutathione S-transferases(GSTs).benefiting from it,the prepared HSA-Ce6@COH-SR4(HCCS)enables positive feed-back uptake by promoting AmPK phosphorylation,leading to rapid and extensive tumor accumulation of *** a result,HCCS obviously increases the ROS production to elevate intracellular oxidative ***,HCCS can inhibit GSTs to disturb the antioxidant defense system of tumor cells,intensifying the oxidative damage of ***,the PDT of HCCS is significantly strengthened by improving the ROS yield and lethality,which greatly declines the proliferation of breast cancer in *** study may open a window in the development of drug co-delivery system for enhanced oxidative therapy of tumors.

bolted joints play a more and more important role in the structure with lighter weight and heavier *** paper aims to provide an overview of different experimental approaches for the dynamic behavior of structures in the presence of bolted joints,especially the energy dissipation or damping at frictional *** comprehension of energy dissipation mechanisms due to friction is provided first,while the key parameters and the measurement techniques,such as the excitation force,the preload of the bolt,or the pressure at the interfaces,are briefly ***,the round-robin systems aim to measure the hysteresis parameters of the frictional joints under tangential loads are reviewed,summarizing the basic theory and the strategies to apply the excitation force or acquire the response in different testing *** by parameter identification strategies for bolted structures,the test rigs with one or more simplified bolted joints are summarized to give an insight into the understanding of typical characteristics of bolted structures,which are affected by the presence of *** complex test rigs hosting real-like or actual engineering structures with bolted lap or flange joints are also introduced to show the identification process of the dynamic characteristics of bolted connections employed in specific *** on the review paper,researchers can get the basic knowledge about the experimental systems of the bolted structures,especially several classical round robin systems,such as the Gaul resonator and widely used brake-Reußbeam *** can take advantage of this background for more creative and effective future studies,make more progress on the study of assembled structures and understand the influence of bolting frictional connections on the dynamic response better.

Tailoring Iron-Ion Release of Cellulose-based Aerogel-Coated Iron Foam for long-Term High-Power microbial Fuel Cells

The presence of iron（Fe） has been found to favor power generation in microbial fuel cells（mFCs）. To achieve long-term power production in mFCs, it is crucial to effectively tailor the release of Fe ions over extended operating periods. In this study, we developed a composite anode（A/IF） by coating iron foam with cellulose-based aerogel. The concentration of Fe ions in the anode solution of A/IF anode reaches 0.280 μg/ml(Fe2+vs. Fe3+= 61%:39%) after 720 h of aseptic primary cell operation. This value was significantly higher than that(0.198 μg/ml, Fe2+vs. Fe3+= 92%:8%) on uncoated iron foam（IF）, indicating a continuous release of Fe ions over long-term operation. Notably, the resulting mFCs hybrid cell exhibited a 23% reduction in Fe ion concentration（compared to a 47% reduction for the IF anode） during the sixth testing cycle（600–720 h）. It achieved a high-power density of 301 ± 55 mW/m2at 720 h, which was 2.62 times higher than that of the IF anode during the same period. Furthermore, a sedimentary microbial fuel cell（SmFCs） was constructed in a marine environment, and the A/IF anode demonstrated a power density of 103 ± 3 mW/m2at 3240 h, representing a 75% improvement over the IF anode. These findings elucidate the significant enhancement in long-term power production performance of mFCs achieved through effective tailoring of Fe ions release during operation.

The electrocatalytic oxidation of biomass-derived furfural(FF)feedstocks into 2-furoic acid(FA)holds immense industrial potential in optics,cosmetics,polymers,and ***,we fabricated Co O/ni O/nickel foam(NF)and Cu_(2)O/ni O/NF electrodes via in situ pulsed laser irradiation in liquids(PlIl)for the bifunctional electrocatalysis of oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and furfural oxidation reaction(FOR),*** oxidation of NF surface to niO and deposition of CoO and/or Cu_(2)O on NF during PlIl offer distinct advantages for enhancing both the OER and ***/niO/NF electrocatalyst provides a consistently low overpotential of~359 m V(OER)at 10 m A/cm^(2),achieving the maximum FA yield(~16.37 m m)with 61.5%selectivity,79.5%carbon balance,and a remarkable Faradaic efficiency of~90.1%during 2 h of FOR at 1.43 V(*** hydrogen electrode).mechanistic pathway via in situ electrochemical-Raman spectroscopy on CoO/niO/NF reveals the involvement of phase transition intermediates(niOOH and CoOOH)as surface-active centers during electrochemical *** carbonyl carbon in FF is attacked by hydroxyl groups to form unstable hydrates that subsequently undergo further oxidation to yield FA *** method holds promise for large-scale applications,enabling simultaneous production of renewable building materials and fuel.
