In this study, a new design of graded tubular scaffolds have been developed for the performance enhancement in vascular tissue *** graded poly-L-lactide(PLLA) and gelatin fibrous scaffolds produced by electrospining were then characterized. The morphology,degradability, porosity, pore size and mechanical properties of four tubular scaffolds(graded PLLA/gelatin, layered PLLA/gelatin, PLLA and gelatin scaffolds) have been investigated. The tensile tests demonstrated that the mechanical strength and also the estimated burst pressure of the graded scaffolds were significantly increased in comparison with the layered and gelatin scaffolds. This new design, resulting in an increase in the mechanical properties, suggested the widespread use of these scaffolds in vascular tissue engineering in order to prepare more strengthened vessels.

Array P systems were introduced by Paun Gh. which is linking the two areas of membrane computing and picture grammars. Puzzle grammars were introduced by us for generating connected picture arrays in the two-dimensional plane, motivated by the problem of tiling the plane. On the other hand, incorporating into arrays the developmental type of generation used in the well-known biologically motivated L systems, Siromoney and Siromoney proposed a very general rectangular array generating model, called extended controlled tabled L array system (ECTLAS). In this paper we introduce two variations of the array P system, called BPG array P system and parallel array P system. The former has in the regions array objects and basic puzzle grammar rules (BPG), which are a specific kind of puzzle grammar rules. In the latter, the regions have rectangular array objects and tables of context-free rules. We examine these two types of P systems for their array generative power.

A series of ternary perovskite type oxides LaNi1-xCuxO3(x = 0.2,0.4,0.6,0.8,and 1.0) were synthesized via the sol-gel method in propionic *** substitution of Ni by Cu showed higher activities and selectivities towards syngas ***0.8Cu0.2O3 was the most active toward the CH4 and CO2 conversions,and was selective for syngas ***-programmed reduction results showed that the addition of Cu facilitates the reduction of Ni3+ to Ni0,which is the main reason for the higher performance of this catalyst.

A Longi LGS 500 wet high intensity magnetic separator(WHImS) was used to concentrate a fine, low grade South African hematite ore. The ore was prepared into different size fractions and was subjected to changes in pulp density, magnetic field intensity and pulsation frequency which followed a 33 full factorial matrix. The concentrate mass yield and Fe grade were selected as the dependent responses to the changes. The analysis of variance(ANOVA) shows that the variables investigated are significant to the material's response to magnetic separation. This significance was in the order of magnetic field intensity followed by pulsation frequency and then pulp density. It was also noted that a single stage magnetic separation has a potential to upgrade a feed( 75 lm and 40% Fe) to a 55% Fe grade, as the pulsation frequency increases. In addition, the model predictions and actual data were in good agreement, reporting regression coefficients within acceptable ranges.

A low-diffusion Ni Re Pt Al coating((Ni,Pt)Al outer layer in addition to a Re-rich diffusion barrier layer)was prepared on a Ni_(3)Al-base single crystal(SC)superalloy via electroplating and gaseous aluminizing treatments,wherein the electroplating procedures consisted of the composite deposition of Ni-Re followed by electroplating of *** order to perform a comparison with conventional Ni Al and(Ni,Pt)Al coatings,the cyclic oxidation performance of the Ni Re Pt Al coating was evaluated at 1100 and 1150℃.We observed that the oxidation resistance of the Ni Re Pt Al coating was significantly improved by the greater presence of the residualβ-Ni Al phase in the outer layer and the lesser outward-diffusion of mo from the *** addition,the coating with the Re-rich diffusion barrier demonstrated a lower extent of interdiffusion into the substrate,where the thickness of the second reaction zone(SRZ)in the substrate alloy decreased by 25%.The mechanisms responsible for improving the oxidation resistance and decreasing the extent of SRZ formation are discussed,in which a particular attention is paid to the inhibition of the outward diffusion of mo by the Re-based diffusion barrier.

Focused ion beam(FIB)processing with low-energy ions has become a standard technique for the manipulation of *** underlying ion beam effects that deviate from conventional high-energy ion irradiation of bulk systems are considered today;however,ion channeling with its consequence of significant deeper penetration depth has been only theoretically investigated in this *** present here an experimental approach to determine the channeling of low-energy ions in crystalline nanoparticles by measuring the sputter yield derived from scanning electron microscopy(SEm)images taken after irradiation under various incident ion *** maps of 30 and 20 keV Ga+ions in Ag nanocubes have been identified and fit well with the ***,channeling has a significant impact on the transport of energetic ions in crystals due to the large critical angle at low ion energies,thus being relevant for any ***,the obtained sputter yield clearly differs from amorphous materials;therefore,it is recommended not to rely only on,e.g.,ion distribution depths predicted by standard monte-Carlo(mC)algorithms for amorphous materials.

ASIC or FPGA implementation of a finite word-length PID controller requires a double expertise： in control system and hardware design. In this paper, we only focus on the hardware side of the problem. We show how to design configurable fixed-point PIDs to satisfy applications requiring minimal power consumption, or high control-rate, or both together. As multiply operation is the engine of PID, we experienced three algorithms： Booth, modified Booth, and a new recursive multi-bit multiplication algorithm. This later enables the construction of finely grained PID structures with bit-level and unit-time precision. Such a feature permits to tailor the PID to the desired performance and power budget. All PIDs are implemented at register-transfer4evel （RTL） level as technology-independent reusable IP-cores. They are reconfigurable according to two compilemtime constants： set-point word-length and latency. To make PID design easily reproducible, all necessary implementation details are provided and discussed.

Rolling dynamic compaction(RDC),which involves the towing of a noncircular module,is now widespread and accepted among many other soil compaction ***,to date,there is no accurate method for reliable prediction of the densification of soil and the extent of ground improvement by means of *** study presents the application of artificial neural networks(ANNs) for a priori prediction of the effectiveness of *** models are trained with in situ dynamic cone penetration(DCP) test data obtained from previous civil projects associated with the 4-sided impact *** predictions from the ANN models are in good agreement with the measured field data,as indicated by the model correlation coefficient of approximately *** is concluded that the ANN models developed in this study can be successfully employed to provide more accurate prediction of the performance of the RDC on a range of soil types.

The main purpose of the present paper is to explore hypersurface homogenous space time in Brans Dicke theory of gravitation in terms of the dark energy source. To obtain solution of the field equation, we have taken into account the relation between φ and the average scale factor a. The volumetric expansions are considered to get deterministic solutions. Physical properties of the models are also discussed in detail.
