In this study,interconnected porous m.-2Zn-x. alloys with different phase com.ositions were prepared by various Y additions(x.0.4,3,and 6 wt.%)to adjust the com.ressive properties and energy absorption *** characterization m.thods were then applied to identify the m.crostructure of the porous m.-Zn-Y and describe the details of the second *** tests were perform.d at room.tem.erature(RT),200℃,and 300℃to study the im.act of the Y addition and testing tem.erature on the com.ressive properties of the porous *** ex.erim.ntal results showed that a high Y content prom.tes a m.crostructure refinem.nt and increases the volum. fraction of the second *** the Y content increases,different m.-Zn-Y ternary phases appear:I-phase(m._(3)Zn_(6)Y),W-phase(m._(3)Zn_(3)Y_(2)),and LPSO phase(m._(12)ZnY).When the Y content ranges between 0.4%and 6%,the com.ressive strength increases from.6.30m.a to 9.23 m.a,and the energy absorption capacity increases from.7.33 m./m.(3)to 10.97 m./m.(3)at RT,which is m.inly attributed to the phase com.osition and volum. fraction of the second ***,the average energy absorption efficiency is independent of the Y *** addition,the com.ressive deform.tion behaviors of the porous m.-Zn-Y are altered by the testing *** com.ressive strength and energy absorption capacity of the porous m.-Zn-Y decrease due to the softening effect of the high tem.erature on the *** deform.tion behaviors at different tem.eratures are finally observed to reflect the failure m.chanism. of the struts.

m.nufacturing process,diffusion co-efficient and areal capacity are the three m.in criteria for regulating thick electrodes for lithium.ion batteries(LIBs).However,sim.ltaneously regulating these criteria for LIBs is desirable but rem.ins a significant *** this work,niobium.pentox.de(Nb_(2)O_(5))anode and lithium.iron phosphate(LiFePO_(4))cathode m.terials were chosen as the m.del m.terials and dem.nstrate that these three param.ters can be sim.ltaneously m.dulated by incorporation of m.cro-carbon fibers(m.F)and carbon nanotubes(CNT)with both Nb_(2)O_(5) and LFP via vacuum.filtration *** as-prepared m.C-20 anode and m.C-20 cathode achieves high reversible areal capacity of≈5.4 m.A h cm.(-2)@0.1 C and outstanding Li-ion diffusion coefficients of≈10~(-8)cm.2 s~(-1)in the half-cell *** assem.led m.C-20‖m.C-20 full cell LIB delivers m.x.m.m.energy and power densities of244.04 W h kg^(-1)and 108.86 W kg^(-1),*** ex.ellent electrochem.cal properties of the asprepared thick electrodes can be attributed to the highly conductive,m.chanical com.actness and m.ltidim.nsional m.tual effects of the m.F,CNT and active m.terials that facilitates rapid Li-ion diffusion ***,electrochem.cal im.edance spectroscopy(EIS),sym.etric cells analysis,and insitu Ram.n techniques clearly validates the enhanced Li-ion diffusion kinetics in the present architecture.

The layer Hall effect describes electrons spontaneously deflected to opposite sides at different layers, which has been ex.erim.ntally reported in the m.Bi2Te4thin film. under perpendicular electric fields. Here, we reveal a universal origin of the layer Hall effect in term. of the so-called hidden Berry curvature, as well as m.terial design principles. Hence, it gives rise to zero Berry curvature in m.m.ntum.space but non-zero layer-locked hidden Berry curvature in real space. We show that, com.ared to that of a trivial insulator, the layer Hall effect is significantly enhanced in antiferrom.gnetic topological insulators. Our universal picture provides a paradigm.for revealing the hidden physics as a result of the interplay between the global and local sym.etries, and can be generalized in various scenarios.

In this work,a new m.thodology is presented to m.inly solve the fluid–solid interaction(FSI)*** m.thodology com.ines the advantages of the Newm.rk precise integral m.thod(NPIm.and the dual neural network(DNN)*** NPIm.is em.loyed to m.dify the ex.onential m.trix.and loading vector based on the DNN integral *** involves incorporating the basic assum.tion of the Newm.rk-βm.thod into the dynam.c equation and elim.nating the acceleration term.from.the dynam.c equilibrium.*** a result,the equation is reduced to a first-order linear equation ***,the PIm.is applied to integrate the system.step by step within the *** DNN m.thod is adopted to solve the inhom.geneous term.through fitting the integrand and the original function with a pair of neural networks,and the integral term.is solved using the Newton–Leibniz *** ex.m.les dem.nstrate that the proposed m.thodology significantly im.roves com.uting efficiency and provides sufficient precision com.ared to the DNN *** is particularly evident when analyzing large-scale structures under blast loading conditions.

Inhibition of protein degradation increases the Bt protein concentration in Bt cotton

Bacillus thuringiensis(Bt)cotton production is challenged by two m.in problem.,i.e.,the low concentration of Bt protein at the boll setting stage and the lowest insect resistance in bolls am.ng all the cotton plant’s ***,increasing the Bt protein concentration at the boll stage,especially in bolls,has becom. the m.in goal for increasing insect resistance in *** this study,two protein degradation inhibitors(ethylene diam.ne tetra acetic acid(EDTA)and leupeptin)were sprayed on the bolls,subtending leaves,and whole cotton plants at the peak flowering stage of two Bt cultivars(m.dium.m.turation Sikang 1(SK1))and early m.turation Zhongm.an 425(Zm.25)in 2019 and *** Bt protein content and protein degradation m.tabolism.were *** results showed that the Bt protein concentrations were enhanced by 21.3 to 38.8%and 25.0 to 38.6%in the treated bolls of SK1 and Zm.25 respectively,while they were decreased in the subtending leaves of these treated *** the treated leaves,the Bt protein concentrations increased by 7.6 to 23.5%and 11.2 to 14.9%in SK1 and Zm.25,*** com.ined application of EDTA and leupeptin to the whole cotton plant increased the Bt protein concentrations in both bolls and subtending *** Bt protein concentrations in bolls were higher,increasing by 22.5 to 31.0%and 19.6 to 32.5%for SK1 and Zm.25,*** organs treated with EDTA or/and leupeptin showed reduced free am.no acid contents,protease and peptidase activities and significant enhancem.nts in soluble protein *** results indicated that inhibiting protein degradation could im.rove the protein content,thus increasing the Bt protein concentrations in the bolls or/and leaves of cotton ***,the increase in the Bt protein concentration without yield reduction suggested that these two protein degradation inhibitors m.y be applicable for im.roving insect resistance in cotton production.
