Educational innovation is a field that has been greatly enriched by using technology in its processes, resulting in a learning m.del where inform.tion com.s from.num.rous sources and collaboration takes place am.ng m.ltiple students. One attractive challenge within educational innovation is the design of collaborative learning activities from.the social com.uting point of view, where collaboration is not lim.ted to student-to-student relationships, but includes student-to-m.chine interactions. At the sam. tim., there is a great lack of tools that give support to the whole learning process and are not restricted to specific aspects of the educational task. In this paper, we present and evaluate context-aware fram.work for collaborative learning applications(CAFCLA) as a solution to these problem.. CAFCLA is a flexible fram.work that covers the entire process of developing collaborative learning activities, taking advantage of contextual inform.tion and social interactions. Its application in the experim.ntal case study of a collaborative WebQuest within a m.seum.has shown that, am.ng other benefits, the use of social com.uting im.roves the learning process, fosters collaboration, enhances relationships, and increases engagem.nt.

During the late m.nths of last year,a novel coronavirus was detected in Hubei,*** virus,since then,has spread all across the globe forcing Word Health Organization(WHO)to declare COVID-19 outbreak a *** Spain,the virus started infecting the country slowly until rapid growth of infected people occurred in m.drid,Barcelona and other m.jor *** governm.nt in an attem.t to stop the rapssid spread of the virus and ensure that health system.will not reach its capacity,im.lem.nt strict m.asures by putting the entire country in *** duration of these m.asures,depends on the evolution of the virus in *** this study,a Deep Neural Network approach using m.nte Carlo is proposed for generating a database to train networks for estim.ting the optim.l param.ters of a SIR epidem.ology *** num.er of total infected people as of April 7 in Spain is considered as input to the Deep Neural *** adaptability of the m.del was evaluated using the latest data upon com.letion of this paper,i.e.,April *** date range for the peak of infected people(i.e.,active cases)based on the new inform.tion is estim.ted to be within 74 to 109 days after the first recorded case of COVID-19 in *** addition,a curve fitting m.asure based on the squared Euclidean distance indicates that according to the current data the peak m.ght occur before the 86th ***,Deep Neural Networks have proven accurate and useful tools in handling big epidem.ological data and for peak prediction estim.tes.

Im.roving the network interface perform.nce is needed by the dem.nd of applications with high com.unication requirem.nts （for exam.le, som. m.ltim.dia, real-tim., and high-perform.nce com.uting applications）, and the availability of network links providing m.ltiple gigabits per second bandwidths that could require m.ny processor cycles for com.unication tasks. m.lticore architectures, the current trend in the m.croprocessor developm.nt to cope with the difficulties to further increase clock frequencies and m.croarchitecture efficiencies, provide new opportunities to exploit the parallelism.available in the nodes for designing efficient com.unication architectures. Nevertheless, although present OS network stacks include m.ltiple threads that m.ke it possible to execute network tasks concurrently in the kernel, the im.lem.ntations of packet-based or connection-based parallelism.are not trivial as they have to take into account issues related with the cost of synchronization in the access to shared resources and the efficient use of caches. Therefore, a com.on trend in m.ny recent researches on this topic is to assign network interrupts and the corresponding protocol and network application processing to the sam. core, as with this affinity scheduling it would be possible to reduce the contention for shared resources and the cache m.sses. In this paper we propose and analyze several configurations to distribute the network interface am.ng the different cores available in the server. These alternatives have been devised according to the affinity of the corresponding com.unication tasks with the location （proxim.ty to the m.m.ries where the different data structures are stored） and characteristics of the processing core. As this approach uses several cores to accelerate the com.unication path of a given connection, it can be seen as com.lem.ntary to those that consider several cores to sim.ltaneously process packets belonging to either the sam. or different connections.

The addition of Au3. to spherical am.ne-capped CdSe@ZnS nanoparticles in toluene at room.tem.erature and under darkness can lead to ternary CdSe@ZnS/Au nanohybrids. We dem.nstrate that this happens only when the nanoparticles possess a relatively thin ZnS shell, thus showing that thickness plays a key role in gold deposition on the CdSe@ZnS nanoparticle surface. Our hypothesis is that the am.ne ligand acts as the reductant of Au3＋ ions into Au＋ ions, whose affinity for sulfur would keep them.at the CdSe@ZnS surface. This interaction stabilizes the Au＋ ion, m.king it less prone to reduction than a non-coordinated Au＋ ion. In CdSe@ZnS with a thin shell, Au＋ ions at the surface of, or m.st probably within, the ZnS shell cause the transfer of Cd2＋ ions into the solution. Subsequently, the core Se2- anion, which is a better reductant than the shell S2- reduces Au＋ ions to Au（0）, and large gold nanoparticles （AuNPs） are quickly deposited on the CdSe@ZnS surface in room.tem.erature process, leading to ternary CdSe@ZnS/Au nanohybrids. In solution, these ternary nanohybrids progressively transform.into quaternary CdSe@ZnS/Au2S/Au nanohybrids due to the reaction of the shell S2- anion with the rem.ining Au＋ at the CdSe@ZnS surface, thus leading to the growth of Au2S nanoparticles on the CdSe@ZnS surface while Zn concom.tantly leaches from.the nanohybrid into the solution. Photoirradiation of the heterostructures with visible light enhances their em.ssion efficiency. Com.aratively, irradiation of the precursors, i.e., CdSe@ZnS nanoparticles, causes a drastic decrease in their em.ssion accom.anied by a blue shift of their em.ssion m.xim.m. The optical properties of these nanohybrids were analyzed by absorption and fluorescence （steady-state and tim.-resolved） spectroscopy, and the com.osition of the sam.les and the chem.cal states were determ.ned by energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy （EDX） and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy （XPS）, respectively. Nowadays, the needs and requirem.nts to avoid infections during surgical operations, require to be m.re im.ginative than ever. The one-use textiles substrates that are used in hospitals can be, also, a way to transport the antibacterial effect around the own building. This is the m.in objective of this work;to use clothes and textiles surfaces as antibacterial system. using natural com.onents. m.croencapsulation has shown in several occasions the effectivity to protect and vehiculize active principles that can be used for m.dical treatm.nts. In this case, essential oils have been used as antim.crobial agent, that when com.ined with shell polym.rs based on Chitosan of different m.lecular weight distribution and Arabic gum. allows them.to act against Gram.(+) and Gram.(−) bacteria. The study of the efficiency of all the sam.les m.de gave a high value due to its character sim.lar to hydrogels, while the determ.nation of solids was higher when it was a question of sam.les m.de with a low m.lecular weight. The essential oil used has a very volatile character form.d by m.re than 40 com.onents and with the help of FT-IR and TGA it has been possible to corroborate that all its com.onents were encapsulated. The im.regnation of the different sam.les to the tissue was successful and allowed the antibacterial study to be carried out, which was carried out in duplicate on each sam.le and dem.nstrated that they have bacterial activity.
