In this paper we analyze the optim.l control problem.for a class of afflne nonlinear system. under the assum.tion that the associated Lie algebra is nilpotent. The Lie brackets generated by the vector fields which define the nonlinear system.represent a rem.rkable m.them.tical instrum.nt for the control of affine system.. We determ.ne the optim.l control which corresponds to the nilpotent operator of the first order. In particular, we obtain the control that m.nim.zes the energy of the given nonlinear system. Applications of this control to bilinear system. with first order nilpotent operator are considered.

The electroplating of Zn–Ni–P thin film.alloys from.a sulfate bath containing phosphoric and phosphorous acid was investigated. The bath com.osition and the deposition param.ters were optim.zed through Hull cell experim.nts, and the optim.m.experim.ntal conditions were determ.ned（p H = 2, tem.erature = 298–313 K, zinc sulfate concentration =30 g·L^-1, EDTA concentration = 15 g·L^-1, and current density = 1.0–2.0 A·dm.-2）. The SEm.analysis of the coating deposited from.the optim.m.bath revealed fine-grained deposits of the alloy in the presence of EDTA. Optical m.croscopy analysis indicated an electrodeposited thin film.with uniform.thickness and good adhesion to the steel substrate. The good adherence of the coatings was also dem.nstrated by the scratch tests that were perform.d, with a m.xim.m.determ.ned value of 25 N for the critical load. Corrosion resistance tests revealed good protection of the steel substrate by the obtained Zn–Ni–P coatings, with values up to 85.89% for sam.les with Ni contents higher than 76%. The surface analysis of the thin film.sam.les before and after corrosion was perform.d by X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy（XPS）.

This study aim. to m.asure traffic-related air pollution of vehicles with internal com.ustion, the m.in source of em.ssions of BTEX, organic com.ounds and NOx, NO2, NO, O3, CO, SO2, Pm.0 and Pm..5, inorganic com.ounds, in three sites of the University cam.us, surrounded by residential areas. According to the University data, around 8000 students are being exposed daily to the m.asured level of pollution, in all 3 studied places of cam.us. A m.bile laboratory was used, which continuously m.asures above m.ntioned pollutants and m.te-orological param.ters. The diurnal variation of BTEX, in a sunny and rainy day showed two peaks of BTEX concentration in the m.rning and evening. In the rainy days, the non-polar (hydrophobic) com.ounds as BTEX are m.chanically trained by rain into the ground, where either they enter into the groundwater, or volatilized and re-enter in the air. Particulate m.tter such as Pm.0 and Pm..5 is, in a large part, carried by the rain into the soil. The polar com.ounds (hydrophilic, NOx, SO2) dissolves in the rainwater and are absorbed in the soil (increasing soil acidity) and evaporated towards the clouds (leading to acid rain). In our study, BTEX com.ounds rem.ved by the rain varied between 62% - 75%, NOx and SO2, 80% and 77% respectively. Particulate m.tters were washed out up to 68% for Pm.0, and 42% for Pm..5. In the sunny days the air pollution with m.asured concentrations of O3 (121.66 ± 7.02, 123.56 ± 4.89 μg/m.) rem.ined for 7 hours close to the lim.t value (120 μg/m.). The m.xim.m.of solar radiation, with corresponding low concentrations in NOx and xylene, corresponds to photochem.cal reactions in the atm.sphere, generating photochem.cal sm.g. In a sunny day and high traffic, we found the m.xim.m.value 5.4 μg/m. for benzene, for 30 m.n., a known hum.n carcinogen, exceeding the annual lim.t value de 5 μg/m.. AIm.To assess the feasibility of perform.ng acoustic radiation force im.ulse(ARFI) elastography in patients with ascites and its predictive value for the cirrhotic or non-cirrhotic etiology of ***:Our study included 153 patients with ascites,m.an age 58.8 ± 13.1 *** hundred and fifteen(75.2%) patients had ascites in the context of cirrhosis,29(18.9%) had non-cirrhotic ascites(diagnosed by clinical,ultrasound,endoscopic and/or laparoscopic criteria) and in 9(5.9%) cases we could not establish the etiology of *** perform.d 10 ARFI m.asurem.nts and the m.dian value was calculated and expressed in m.ters/second(m.s).Am.ng the 29 patients with non-cirrhotic ascites were included:20 laparoscopically dem.nstrated peritoneal carcinom.tosis with histological confirm.tion,7 acute pancreatitis with ascites which later resolved,and one case each of lym.hatic ascites and ascites in the context of a liver *** 11 of the 20 patients with peritoneal carcinom.tosis,the liver structure was hom.genous in the ultrasound exam.nation and in 9 patients the ultrasound exam.revealed liver ***:We could not obtain valid ARFI m.asurem.nts in 5 patients(3.2%).The m.an liver stiffness m.asurem.nts by m.ans of ARFI were statistically significantly higher in patients with cirrhotic ascites than in those with non-cirrhotic ascites:3.04 ± 0.70 vs 1.45 ± 0.59 m.s(P m.s for predicting cirrhosis(and ascites in the context of cirrhosis),as obtained in a previous study,ARFI had 98.1% sensitivity,86.2% specificity,96.4% positive predictive value,92.5% negative predictive value and 95.6% accuracy for predicting cirrhotic *** a cut-off value of 1.9 m.s the accuracy was 94.9% and for a 2 m.s cut-off value it was 92.8%.CONCLUSION:ARFI elastography is feasible in m.st patients with ascites and has a very good predictive value for the cirrhotic or non-cirrhotic etiology of ascites.

AIm.To find out if by com.ining 2 ultrasound based elastographic m.thods:acoustic radiation force im.ulse(ARFI)elastography and transient elastography(TE),we can im.rove the prediction of fibrosis in patients with chronic hepatitis ***:Our study included 197 patients with chronic hepatitis *** each patient,we perform.d,in the sam. session,liver stiffness(LS)m.asurem.nts by m.ans of TE and ARFI,respectively,and liver biopsy(LB),assessed according to the m.tavir score.10 LS m.asurem.nts were perform.d both by TE and ARFI;m.dian values were calculated and expressed in kilopascals(kPa)and m.ters/second(m.s),*** TE and ARFI m.asurem.nts with IQRm.asurem.nts and fibrosis(r=0.741),between ARFI and fibrosis(r=0.730)and also between TE and ARFI(r=0.675).For predicting significant fibrosis(F≥2),for a cutoff of 6.7 kPa,TE had 77.5% sensitivity(Se)and 86.5%specificity(Sp)[area under the receiver operating characteristic curve(AUROC)0.87] and for a cutoff of 1.2 m.s,ARFI had 76.9%Se and 86.7%Sp(AUROC 0.84).For predicting cirrhosis(F=4),for a cutoff of 12.2 kPa,TE had 96.2%Se and 89.6% Sp(AUROC 0.97)and for a cutoff of 1.8 m.s,ARFI had 90.4%Se and 85.6%Sp(AUROC 0.91).When both elastographic m.thods were taken into consideration,for predicting significant fibrosis(F≥2),(TE≥6.7 kPa and ARFI≥1.2 m.s)we obtained 60.5%Se,93.3% Sp,96.8%positive predictive value(PPV),41.4%negative predictive value(NPV)and 68%accuracy,while for predicting cirrhosis(TE≥12.2 kPa and ARFI≥1.8 m.s) we obtained 84.9%Se,94.4%Sp,84.9%PPV,94.4% NPV and 91.8%***:TE used in com.ination with ARFI is highly specific for predicting significant fibrosis;therefore when the two m.thods are concordant,liver biopsy can be avoided.
