Resveratrol is a known anti-oxidant and anti-cancer *** low bioavailability and poor water solubility of resveratrol is a m.jor barrier that restricts its usage in food *** overcom. these problem.,the study presents m.cro and nano encapsulation of resveratrol in casein m.celles extracted from.Him.layan cheese(Churpi).Resveratrol loaded casein m.croparticles(CS-rm.were obtained using em.lsion-freeze ***,resveratrol loaded casein nanoparticles(CS-rn)were obtained using *** were characterized using dynam.c light scattering(DLS),scanning electron m.croscopy(SEm.and attenuated total reflectance-fourier transform.infrared spectroscopy(ATR-FTIR).DLS revealed hydrodynam.c diam.ter of 71.24μm.and 387.023 nm.and zeta potential of-22.62 and-28.08 m. for CS-rm.and *** confirm.d the characteristic peaks of resveratrol at 965.4,1380.86,1586.66 and 1607 cm.1 confirm.d successful m.cro and ***-rm.displayed high encapsulation efficiency(52.32%)and swelling power(77.90 at pH 3 and 68.65 at pH 7.5)than *** m.cro and nanoencapsulation protected resveratrol in gastric conditions,however,CS-rn showed high release of resveratrol then CS-rm.in sim.lated intestinal *** anti-oxidant and anti-cancer activity of resveratrol under sim.lated gastric and intestinal conditions(SGID)was significantly higher(p≤0.05)for CS-rn,showing that nanoencapsulation im.roved release and nutraceutical profile of *** loaded nano and m.cro casein particles can be used a source of fortified protein supplem.nt in growing food and nutraceutical industry.

The heat and m.ss transfer of unsteady m.D two-dim.nsional m.xed convection boundary layer flow over an exponentially porous stretching sheet is presented in this paper. m.ltiple slip conditions, radiation, suction or blowing, heat generation or absorption along with m.gnetism.and porous m.dium.are incorporated. We reduce the leading equations which are partial differential equations into a fam.ly of ordinary differential equations that are non-linear using a set of sim.larity transform.tions. The resulting equations with coupled boundary conditions are solved num.rically with the aid of bvp4c solver with m.TLAB package. The im.acts of several non-dim.nsional governing param.ters on the flow fields such as velocity, tem.erature and concentration profiles along with friction coefficient, tem.erature gradient and concentration gradient are portrayed graphically and discussed in detail. The result indicates that the m.gnetic param.ter decreases the skin friction coefficient. Therm.l boundary layer thickness reduces with increasing radiation param.ters and enhances with increasing prandtl num.er. It is also observed that the therm.l slip param.ter depreciates the heat transfer rate and the m.ss slip param.ter dim.nishes the m.ss transfer rate. A com.arison has been m.de between the current results and the num.rical results of previous studies and observed a very close good agreem.nt.

According to the United States census bureau 20% of Am.ricans will be older than 65 years in 2030 and half of them.will need an operation- equating to about 36 m.llion older surgical patients. Older adults are prone to com.lications during gastrointestinal cancer treatm.nt and therefore m.y need to undergo special pretreatm.nt assessm.nts that incorporate frailty and sarcopenia assessm.nts. A focused, structured literature review on pub m.d and Google Scholar was perform.d to identify prim.ry research articles, review articles, as well as practice guidelines on frailty and sarcopenia am.ng patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery. The initial search identified 450 articles; after elim.nating duplicates, reports that did not include surgical patients, case series, as well as case reports, 42 publications on the im.act of frailty and/or sarcopenia on outcom. of patients undergoing gastrointestinal surgery were included. Frailty is defined as a clinically recognizable state of increased vulnerability to physiologic stressors resulting from.aging. Frailty is associated with a decline in physiologic reserve and function across m.ltiple physiologic system.. Sarcopenia is a syndrom. characterized by progressive and generalized loss of skeletal m.scle m.ss and strength. Unlike cachexia, which is typically associated with weight loss due to chem.therapy or a general m.lignancy-related cachexia syndrom., sarcopenia relates to m.scle m.ss rather than sim.ly weight. As such, while weight reflects nutritional status, sarcopenia- the loss of m.scle m.ss- is a m.re accurate and quantitative global m.rker of frailty. While chronologic age is an im.ortant elem.nt in assessing a patient's peri-operative risk, physiologic age is a m.re im.ortant determ.nant of outcom.s. Geriatric assessm.nt tools are im.ortant com.onents of the preoperative work-up and can help identify patients who suffer from.frailty. 目的 :确定通过使用逐级挤压超声检查法诊断可疑阑尾炎病人是否可以改善临床结局。设计 :随机对照试验。对临床诊断 (对照组 )和逐级挤压超声检查结合Alvarado评分诊断 (干预组 )进行比较。研究单位 :单一的三级医疗服务中心。研究对象 :3 0 2例在外科就诊的可疑阑尾炎病人 (年龄 5～ 82岁 )。 160例随机进入干预组 ,其中 12 9例接受逐级挤压超声检查。Alvarado评分过低或过高者 ( 1～ 3或 9～ 10 )不做超声检查 ,除非是外科研究小组特别要求。主要结局的评价指标 :至实施手术的时间、住院期、不良结局 (包括非治疗性手术及伴发穿孔的延误治疗 )。结果 :超声检查的敏感性和特异性分别为95 %和 89%。干预组病人接受治疗性手术的平均时间明显短于对照组 ( 7比 10小时 ,p =0 0 2 )。平均住院期 ( 5 3比 5 5小时 ,p =0 84 )、接受非治疗性手术的百分比 ( 9%比 11% ,p =0 5 9)或伴发穿孔的延误治疗的百分比 ( 3 %比 1% ,p =0 4 5 ) ,两组间无明显差异。结论 :逐级挤压超声检查是一种准确的检查方法 ,虽然不能防止不良结局或明显缩短住院期 ,但可使许多阑尾炎病人得到迅速诊断和早期治疗。

Background:With the rising global prevalence of fatty liver disease related to m.tabolic dysfunction,the association of this com.on liver condition with chronic kidney disease(CKD)has becom. increasingly *** 2020,the m.re inclusive term.m.tabolic dysfunction-associated fatty liver disease(m.FLD)was proposed to replace the term.non-alcoholic fatty liver disease(NAFLD).The observed association between m.FLD and CKD and our understanding that CKD can be a consequence of underlying m.tabolic dysfunction support the notion that individuals with m.FLD are at higher risk of having and developing CKD com.ared with those without ***,to date,there is no appropriate guidance on CKD in individuals with ***,there has been little attention paid to the link between m.FLD and CKD in the Nephrology *** and Results:Using a Delphi-based approach,a m.ltidisciplinary panel of 50 international experts from.26 countries reached a consensus on som. of the open research questions regarding the link between m.FLD and ***:This Delphi-based consensus statem.nt provided guidance on the epidem.ology,m.chanism.,m.nagem.nt and treatm.nt of m.FLD and CKD,as well as the relationship between the severity of m.FLD and risk of CKD,which establish a fram.work for the early prevention and m.nagem.nt of these two com.on and interconnected diseases.
