SEm.an. fluorescen.e spectroscopy. Data collected through these an.lysis revealed the form.tion.of the Eu（III） an. Th（III） com.lexes with the above m.n.ion.d ligan.s at a m.tal to ligan. （m.L） m.lar ratio of 1：3. In.erestin. con.lusion. regardin. the effi- cien. sen.itization.through the coordin.tion.site of the lan.han.de lum.n.scen. cen.ers were retain.d from.the photolum.n.scen. spectra in.es- tigation. Stron. lum.n.scen.e em.ssion.was observed in.case of Eu（III）-SI an. Tb（III）-n.SI com.lexes while the correspon.in. Eu（III）-n.SI an. Tb（III）-SI com.lexes exhibited n. photo lum.n.scen. properties. n.wly obtain.d lum.n.scen. lan.han.de com.lexes m.y be of particular in.erest for various application. in.optoelectron.cs.

Zn.Fe alloys have been.exten.ively in.estigated in.this study with a view to their application.as biodegradable bon. im.lan.s. Biogen.c elem.n. zin. is a very appropriate m.tal because of the ideal degradation.rate com.ared to those of m. an. Fe. Studied alloys were m.de by com.ressin. m.tallic powders in.a con.en. ratio of 100% Zn.Zn.1% Fe, Zn.2% Fe, Zn.5% Fe an. Zn.10% Fe an. sin.erin. at 350°C for 1 h. Prepared sam.les were exam.n.d by optical m.croscopy, SEm.an. XRD. Corrosion.behavior, m.chan.cal testin. an. hem.com.atibility were observed subsequen.ly. The electrochem.cal perform.n.e of such m.terials was studied in.the sim.lated body fluids. The en.an.ed corrosion.rate was observed for all sam.les after iron.addition.due to the m.cro-galvan.c effect between.the pure Zn.an. Zn.Fe in.erm.tallic phase. The corrosion.rate of the Zn.5% Fe alloyed sam.le was m.re than.20-tim.s higher（2.89 m.py） com.ared to the pure Zn. However, alloyin. with m.re than.5 wt %of iron.dim.n.shed the m.chan.cal perform.n.e of the m.terial. Therefore, the perform.d m.chan.cal an. hem.com.atibility tests showed acceptable biocom.atibility of zin. an. Zn.1% Fe an. Zn.2% Fe sam.les.
