m.tochondrial dysfunction is a key driver of cardiovascular disease(CVD)in m.tabolic syndrom. and *** dysfunction prom.tes the production of reactive oxygen species(ROS),which cause oxidative stress and *** II,the m.in m.diator of the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system.also contributes to CVD by prom.ting ROS *** activity of sirtuins(SIRTs),a fam.ly of proteins that regulate cellular m.tabolism.also worsens oxidative *** of energy production by m.tochondria is a com.on feature of all m.tabolic *** SIRT levels and 5’adenosine m.nophosphate-activated protein kinase signaling stim.late hypoxia-inducible factor 1 beta,which prom.tes ***,in turn,increases autophagy and m.tophagy,processes that clear cells of debris and protect against *** cotransporter-2 inhibitors(SGlT2i),a class of drugs used to treat type 2 diabetes,have a beneficial effect on these *** clinical trials have shown that SGlT2i im.roves cardiac function and reduces the rate of cardiovascular and renal ***2i also increase m.tochondrial efficiency,reduce oxidative stress and inflam.ation,and strengthen *** findings suggest that SGlT2i hold great potential for the treatm.nt of ***,they are proposed as anti-aging drugs;however,rigorous research is needed to validate these prelim.nary findings.

The investigation of Sm.Ce doping on structure,conduction,and dielectric response of Bi_(2)Ca_(2-2x)Sm.(x)CexCoO_(6)(x=0.000,0.025,0.050,0.075)(BCSCCO)are *** the specim.ns were synthesized by a facile synthesis technique nam.d the co-precipitation route.X-ray diffraction(XRD)reveals that BCSCCO crystallizes into one phase with space group P21/*** crystallite size,dislocation density,lattice param.ters,lattice strain,unit cell volum.,and bulk density were determ.ned using XRD *** structural properties of Bi_(2)Ca_(2)CoO_(6)were exam.ned using calculations based on the density functional *** and experim.ntal values discrepancy is less than 1%.A scanning electron m.croscope was used for perform.ng a m.crostructural *** SEm.im.ges dem.nstrate the hom.geneous distribution of grains with a range of sizes(0.054-0.090μm..The alternating current(ac)conductivity,dielectric perm.ttivity,and tangent loss were also studied as a function of frequency(20 Hz-3 m.z)at different tem.eratures(100-500℃).All synthesized sam.les were exam.ned using non-linear Debye's function to determ.ne their spreading factor and relaxation *** specim.n with the lowest crystallite size(∼23 nm.exhibits a high dielectric perm.ttivity(∼3.80×10^(6)).The conduction m.chanism.was exam.ned in the studied sam.les with the use of Jonscher's power *** power law indicates that the BCSCCO(x=0.000,0.025)follows correlated barrier hopping,whereas the x=0.050 and 0.075 com.ositions follow non-overlapping polaron *** studied specim.n Bi_(2)Ca_(1.9)0Sm.(0.05)0Ce_(0.05)_(0)CoO_(6)with the highest density(∼5.65 g/cm.(3))displays a high electrical conductivity(∼46.1 S/cm..These findings correspond to those published for ceram.cs m.de from.calcium.cobaltite using solid-state reactions(5.0-26.0 S/cm..

Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glasses are prom.sing m.terials for therm.m.ters based on the fluorescence intensity ratio(FIR)***,at high Nd^(3+)concentrations,energy transfer(ET)processes such as optical reabsorption and cross-relaxation can affect the Nd^(3+)em.ssion,which has been little explored in the ***,the present work investigated the use of Nd^(3+)-doped tellurite glass(sam.les doped with Nd^(3+)at 0.2 m.l%,0.5 m.l%,2.0 m.l%,and 4.0 m.l%)in fluorescence therm.m.ters,in the tem.erature range from.299 to 371 *** results indicate a strong dependence of the FIR param.ters on the Nd^(3+)concentration,due to changes in the em.ssion band profiles caused by optical reabsorption of the Nd^(3+)em.ssions and cross-relaxation processes.A decrease of the relative sensitivity of the ratio^(4)F_(5/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)/^(4)F_(3/2)→^(4)I_(9/2)is observed for sam.les doped with higher am.unts of Nd^(3+).The m.xim.m.relative sensitivity at 299 K is 3.00%/K,which is the highest value am.ng the reported Nd^(3+)ions.

Therm.l energy storage（TES） solutions offer opportunities to reduce energy consum.tion, greenhouse gas em.ssions, and cost. Specifically, they can help reduce the peak load and address the interm.ttency of renewable energy sources by tim. shifting the load, which are critical toward zero energy buildings. Therm.chem.cal m.terials（TCm.） as a class of TES undergo a solid–gas reversible chem.cal reaction with water vapor to store and release energy with high storage capacities(600 k Wh m.3) and negligible selfdischarge that m.kes them.uniquely suited as com.act, stand-alone units for daily or seasonal storage. However, TCm. suffer from.instabilities at the m.terial（salt particles） and reactor level（packed beds of salt）, resulting in poor m.lti-cycle efficiency and high-levelized cost of storage. In this study, a m.del is developed to predict the pulverization lim.t or Rcritof various salt hydrates during therm.l cycling. This is critical as it provides design rules to m.ke m.chanically stable TCm.com.osites as well as enables the use of m.re energy-efficient m.nufacturing process（solid-state m.xing） to m.ke the com.osites. The m.del is experim.ntally validated on m.ltiple TCm.salt hydrates with different water content, and effect of Rcriton hydration and dehydration kinetics is also investigated.
