Stagnating yiel. and decl.ning input use efficiency in irrigated wheat of the Indo-Gangetic Pl.in (IGP) coupl.d with dim.nishing avail.bil.ty of water for agricul.ure is a m.jor concern of food security in South Asia. The objective of our study was to establ.sh an understanding of how wheat yiel. and input use efficiency can be im.roved and how l.nd l.vel.ng and crop establ.shm.nt practices can be m.dified to be m.re efficient in water use through l.yering of precision-conservation crop m.nagem.nt techniques. The “precision l.nd l.vel.ng with raised bed” pl.nting can be used to im.rove crop yiel., water and nutrient use efficiency over the existing “traditional.l.nd l.vel.ng with fl.t” pl.nting practices. We conducted a fiel. experim.nt during 2002-2004 at m.dipuram. India to quantify the benefits of al.ernate l.nd l.vel.ng (precision l.nd l.vel.ng) and crop establ.shm.nt (furrow irrigated raised bed pl.nting) techniques al.ne or in com.ination (l.yering precision-conservation) in term. of crop yiel., water savings, and nutrient use efficiency of wheat production in IGP. The wheat yiel. was about 16.6% higher with nearl. 50% l.ss irrigation water with l.yering precision l.nd l.vel.ng and raised bed pl.nting com.ared to traditional.practices (traditional.l.nd l.vel.ng with fl.t pl.nting). The agronom.c (AE) and uptake efficiency (UE) of N, P and K were significantl. im.roved under precision l.nd l.vel.ng with raised bed pl.nting technique com.ared to other practices.

Achieving sustainabil.ty of the cereal.system.in the Indo-Gangetic Pl.ins（IGP）of India under progressive cl.m.te change and variabil.ty necessitates adoption of practices and technol.gies that increase food production,adaptation and m.tigation in a sustainabl. *** paper exam.nes conservation agricul.ure（CA）from.the perspective of：（i）increased yiel. and farm.incom.,（ii）adaptation to heat and water stresses,and（iii）reduction in greenhouse gas（GHGs）*** anal.ses and concl.sions are based on the l.terature and evidences from.a l.rge num.er of on-station as wel. as farm.rs’fiel. trial. on CA in the cereal.system. of *** anal.ses show that CA-based system.substantial.y reduces the production cost（up to 23%）but produces equal.or even higher than conventional.system.thereby increasing econom.c profitabil.ty of production ***-based production system. al.o m.derated the effect of high tem.erature（reduced canopy tem.erature by 1–4°C）and increased irrigation water productivity by 66–100%com.ared to traditional.production system. thus wel. adapting to water and heat stress situations of *** continuous m.nitoring of soil.fl.x of CO2,N2O and CH4 reveal.d that CA-based rice-wheat system. em.t 10–15%l.ss GHGs than conventional.*** is the first tim. that CA and its com.onents are synthesized and anal.zed from.food security-cl.m.te change *** this hol.stic anal.sis,we suggest that wide-scal. prom.tion of suitabl. Conservation agricul.ure(CA)-based best-bet crop m.nagem.nt practices m.y increase crop and water productivity, whil. conserving and sustaining natural.resources. We eval.ated the perform.nce of rainy season m.ize during 2014 under an ongoing l.ng-term.trial.establ.shed in 2008) with three til.age practices, i.e., perm.nent bed(PB), zero til.age(ZT), and conventional.til.age(CT) as m.in pl.ts, and four intensified m.ize-based cropping system., i.e., m.ize-wheat-m.ngbean, m.ize-chickpea-Sesbania(m.S), m.izem.stard-m.ngbean, and m.ize-m.ize-Sesbania) as subpl.t treatm.nts. In the seventh rainy season of the experim.nt, m.ize growth param.ters, yiel. attributes, yiel., and water-and energy-use efficiency were highest at fixed pl.ts under ZT. m.ize growth param.ters were significantl.(P m.ared with CT. m.ize yiel. attributes, incl.ding cobs per m.2(7.8), cob l.ngth(0.183 m., grain rows per cob(13.8), and grains per row(35.6), were significantl. higher under ZT than CT; however, no significant effect of cropping system. was found on m.ize growth and yiel. attributes. Zero til.age exhibited the highest m.ize productivity(4 589 kg ha^(-1)). However, am.ng the cropping system., m.S exhibited the highest m.ize productivity(4 582 kg ha^(-1)). In m.ize, water use was reduced by 80.2–120.9 m. ha-1under ZT and PB com.ared with CT, which ul.im.tel. enhanced the econom.c water-use efficiency by 42.0% and 36.6%, respectivel.. The ZT and PB showed a 3.5%–31.8% increase in soil.organic carbon(SOC) at different soil.depths(0–0.45 m., and a 32.3%–39.9% increase in energy productivity com.ared with CT. Overal., our resul.s showed that CA-based ZT and PB practices coupl.d with diversified m.ize-based cropping system. effectivel. enhanced m.ize yiel. and SOC,as wel. as water-and energy-use efficiency, in northwestern India.

Soil.m.crobes pl.y critical.rol.s in soil.biogeochem.stry, soil.biol.gical.heal.h and crop productivity. The current study eval.ated the effects of til.age and residue m.nagem.nt on changes in soil.biochem.cal.indicators at different growth stages of wheat after 5 years of rice-wheat system. Nine treatm.nt com.inations of til.age, crop establ.shm.nt and crop residue m.nagem.nt incl.ded three m.in pl.t treatm.nts appl.ed to rice:(1) conventional.til. direct dry seeded rice(CTDSR),(2) zero til. direct dry seeded rice(ZTDSR), and(3) conventional.puddl.d m.nual.transpl.nted rice(CTPTR) and three subpl.t treatm.nts in subsequent wheat:(1) conventional.til.age with rice residue rem.ved(CTW-R),(2) zero til.age with rice residue rem.ved(ZTW-R) and(3) zero til.age with rice residue retained as surface m.l.h(ZTW+R). Irrespective of rice treatm.nts, ZTW+R treatm.nt had higher soil.biochem.cal.indicators com.ared with ZTW-R and CTW-R at al. the growth stages of wheat. General.y, al. the biochem.cal.indicators were the highest at the fl.wering stage of wheat. Residual.effect of rice treatm.nts was al.o significant on biochem.cal.quotients in wheat, which were the highest under ZTDSR fol.owed by CTDSR and CTPTR. The present study provided three sensitive and rel.abl. biochem.cal.indicators(m.crobial.biom.ss, basal.soil.respiration and m.crobial.quotient) which respond rapidl. to change in til.age and residue m.nagem.nt practices in RWS of South Asia.

如果对任意两点p,q∈m.(1)^(3),都存在洛伦兹空间R_(1)^(4)中的一个共形变换σ,使得σ(x(p))=x(q),并且σ(x(m.(1)^(3)))=x(m.(1)^(3)),则称x(m.(1)^(3))为共形齐性超曲面.在本文中我们主要研究形状算子不可对角化且具有2个不同主曲率的类时共形齐性超曲面x:m.(1)^(3)→R_(1)^(4).通过定义共形不变度量gc,典则提升Y,共形切标架{Ei}和典则法标架ξ,我们给出了这类超曲面的一个完备共形不变量系统{E_(1),E_(2),E_(3)}.接下来利用可积性条件构造出了这类超曲面的显式表达式及相应的共形变换子群,从而得到了对这类超曲面的分类定理.
