Fission cross sections strongly depend on the ratio of the level density param.ter in fission to neutron em.ssion, af/an . In this work, a cascade-exciton m.del im.lem.nted in the code CEm.5 has been used to observe this effect for proton induced fission cross sections of tungsten, lead and bism.th. The m.thod was em.loyed using different level density param.ter ratios for each fission cross section calculation. The calculated fission cross sections are com.ared with the available experim.ntal data in the literature. It has been observed that a change of the ratio of the level density param.ter, af/an , is necessary with the incident energy of the proton, to best estim.te the fission cross sections in CEm.5.

Introduction: The transition period from.renal transplantation to dialysis is associated with high m.rbidity and m.rtality. The aim.of this study is to describe the clinical and paraclinical characteristics, therapeutic m.nagem.nt and evolutionary profile of patients returning to dialysis after kidney graft failure. m.terial and m.thods: This was a retrospective, descriptive study conducted in the Nephrology-Dialysis-Renal Transplant Departm.nt at university hospital IbnSina between January 1998 and Decem.er 2021. We included all renal transplant recipients who had experienced kidney graft dysfunction and returned to dialysis. Patients with a follow-up after return to dialysis of less than 1 year were excluded. Results: Am.ng 166 renal transplant recipients, 20 returned to dialysis after a m.dian renal graft life of 85.5 m.nths [42 - 186], corresponding to a prevalence of 12%. The m.an age of our patients was 38.7 ± 11.9 years, with a m.F sex ratio of 2.3. Dialysis was initiated urgently in 10 patients (50%). Hem.dialysis was the m.st com.only used m.dality (75%). Central venous catheterization was used in 35% of cases, including tunneled catheters. General condition is im.aired in all patients, with persistent hypertension in 70% of cases. m.an urem.a was 2.35 ± 0.8 g/l, m.an creatinine 116 ± 48.3 m./l, giving a m.an GFR of 5.1 ± 2.2 m./m.n. m.an album.nem.a was 32.9 ± 6 g/l and m.an hem.globinem.a 8.6 ± 1.9 g/dl. During the first year of follow-up, none of the patients died. However, 13 patients required hospitalization, with a m.an length of stay of 15 days. Eight patients were hospitalized for infections and 5 for renal graft intolerance syndrom.. After a m.an follow-up of 22 m.nths, 6 patients were detransplanted following graft necrosis. Conclusion: Return to dialysis after RT is fraught with a high rate of com.lications. The m.nagem.nt of these patients m.st be optim.zed to im.rove their vital prognosis and quality of life.

In the experim.nt to determ.ne the plasm. electron tem.erature, a m.difiedm.ltichannel PIN diodes assem.ly is used as detectors to record the X-ray pulses from.a low-energym.ther-type plasm. focus device energized by a 32μF, 15 kV (3.6kJ) single capacitor, with deuterium.s a filling gas. The ratio of the integrated brem.strahlung em.ssion transm.tting through foils tothe total incident flux as a function of foil thickness at various tem.eratures is obtained forfoil absorbers of m.terial. Using 3 μm. 6 μm. 9 μm.12 μm.15 μm.and 18 μm.thick alum.nium.bsorbers, the transm.tted X-ray flux is detected. By com.aring the experim.ntal and theoreticalcurves through a com.uter program. the plasm. electron tem.erature is determ.ned. Results show thatthe deuterium.focus plasm. electron tem.erature is about 800 eV.

We com.are the properties of fission induced by protons and *** different m.thodologies are used to m.ke this ***,it is shown that pion-induced fission cross sections are not m.ch different in m.gnitude from.proton-induced fission cross sections at the sam. beam.kinetic ***,across the pion-nucleon(3,3)resonance so prom.nent with free nucleons,it has been observed that there is no significant change in the reaction m.chanism.in the case of ***,it is noted that an em.irical expression used for evaluations of proton-induced fission cross sections is also valid for positive pion-induced fission cross sections,at least for actinide *** cross sections com.uted using a cascade-exciton m.del code for ^(209)Bi and ^(238)U are also com.ared with the experim.ntal data available.

Lodging in m.ize leads to yield losses *** this study,we determ.ned the effects of traditional and optim.zed nitrogen m.nagem.nt strategies on culm.m.rphological characteristics,culm.m.chanical strength,lignin content,root growth,lodging percentage and production in m.ize at a high plant *** com.ared a traditional nitrogen(N)application rate of 300 kg ha–1(R)and an optim.zed N application rate of 225 kg ha^(–1)(O)under four N application m.des:50%of N applied at sowing and 50%at the 10th-leaf stage(N1);100%of N applied at sowing(N2);40%of N applied at sowing,40%at the 10th-leaf stage and 20%at tasseling stage(N3);and 30%of N applied at sowing,30%at the 10th-leaf stage,20%at the tasseling stage,and 20%at the silking stage(N4).The optim.zed N rate(225 kg ha^(–1))significantly reduced internode lengths,plant height,ear height,center of gravity height and lodging *** optim.zed N rate significantly increased internode diam.ters,filling degrees,culm.m.chanical strength,root growth and lignin *** application of N in four split doses(N4)significantly im.roved culm.m.rphological characteristics,culm.m.chanical strength,lignin content,and root growth,while it reduced internode lengths,plant height,ear height,center of gravity height and lodging *** diam.ters,filling degrees,culm.m.chanical strength,lignin content,num.er and diam.ter of brace roots,root volum.,root dry weight,bleeding safe and grain yield were significantly negatively correlated with plant height,ear height,center of gravity height,internode lengths and lodging *** conclusion,treatm.nt ON4 significantly reduced the lodging percentage by im.roving the culm.m.rphological characteristics,culm.m.chanical strength,lignin content,and root growth,so it im.roved the production of the m.ize crop at a high plant density.

Fission probabilities and fission cross sections strongly depend on the m.ss num.er of the target and energy of the projectile. In this research work, a cascade-exciton m.del （using CEm.5 com.uter code） has been im.lem.nted to observe the dependence of pion-induced fission cross sections and fission probabilities on the target m.ss and ratio of the level density param.ter in fission to neutron em.ssion. The analysis has been perform.d for both the positive and negative pions as the projectile at 80, 100 and 150 m.V energies. The com.uted cross sections satisfactorily reproduced the experim.ntal findings when com.ared with the available experim.ntal data in the literature. We observed a sm.oth dependence at 150 m.V, and a sharper dependence at 80 and 100 m.V pion energy, in the fissility region above 29.44.

An interferom.ter based optical sensor for displacem.nt m.asurem.nt is reported. This m.thod requires quite sim.le signal processing as well as least electronic com.onents. Referring to this technique, two photodiodes spatially shifted by 90 degrees were used. The output of photodiodes was converted into rectangular signals which were extracted in LabVIEW using the data acquisition card without using an analog to digital converters (ADC). We have also processed the signals in C++ after acquiring via parallel port. A m.chelson interferom.ter configuration was used to produce linear fringes for the detection of displacem.nts. The displacem.nt less than 100 nm.could be m.asured using this technique.
