Potential utilization of proteins.for early d.tection and.d.agnos.s.of various.d.s.as.s.has.d.awn cons.d.rable interes. in the d.velopm.nt of protein-bas.d.d.tection techniques. m.tal ind.ced.fluores.ence enhancem.nt offers.the pos.ibility of increas.ng the s.ns.tivity of protein d.tection in clinical applications. We report the us. of tunable plas.7}nic s.lver nanos.ructures.for the fluores.ence enhancem.nt of a near-infrared.（NIR） d.e （Alexa Fluor 790）. Extens.ve fluores.ence enhan- cem.nt of -2 ord.rs.of m.gnitud. is.obtained.by the nanos.ale control of the Ag nanos.ructure d.m.ns.ons.and.interparticle d.s.ance. Thes. Ag nanos.ructures.als. enhanced.fluores.ence from.a d.e with very high quantum.yield.（7.8 fold.for Alexa Fluor 488, quantum.efficiency （Qy） = 0.92）. A com.ination of greatly enhanced.excitation and.an increas.d.rad.ative d.cay rate, lead.ng to an as.ociated.enhancem.nt of the quantum.efficiency lead. to the large enhancem.nt. Thes. res.lts.s.ow the potential of Ag nanos.ructures.as.m.tal ind.ced.fluores.ence enhancem.nt （m.FE） s.bs.rates.for d.es.in the NIR ＂biological wind.w＂ as.well as.the vis.ble region. Ag nanos.ructured.arrays.fabricated.by colloid.l lithography thus.s.ow great potential for NIR d.e-bas.d.bios.ns.ng applications.

This.is.an alternative form.to the one reported.in the literature and.us.ally nam.d.geom.tric m.m.ntum. which has.a term.proportional to the m.an curvature along the d.rection norm.l to the s.rface, and.s."apparently"not along the s.rface. The s.m.etric form.of the m.m.ntum.is.the s.m.of two s.m.etric Herm.tian operators.along the two orthogonal d.rections.d.fined.by the s.rface *** centripetal force operator for a particle on the s.rface of a cylind.r and.a s.here is.calculated.by taking the tim. d.rivative of the m.m.ntum.and.is.s.en to be a s.m.etrization of the well-known clas.ical expres.ions.

Our s.ud. reveals.that the chond.ules.are of d.vers. m.neralogy with variable olivine-pyroxene ratios.（Type Ⅱ）, igneous.m.lt textures.d.veloped.und.r variable cooling rates.and.form.d.through m.lt fractionations.from.two d.fferent m.lt res.rvoirs. Bas.d.on the experim.ntal analogues. m.neralogical as.ociations.and.phas. com.os.tions. it is.s.gges.ed.that the d.rgaon chond.ules.reflect two contras.ing environm.nts. a hot, d.s.-enriched.and.highly oxid.zed.nebular environm.nt through m.lting, without s.gnificant evapora- tion, and.an arres.ed.red.cing environm.nt concom.tant with m.jor evaporation los. of alkali and.highly volatile trace elem.nts. Coexis.ence of chlorapatite and.m.rrillite s.gges.s.form.tion of the d.rgaon m.trix in an acid.c accretionary environm.nt. Textural integration and.chem.cal hom.genization occurred.at - I atm.s.heric pres.ure and.a m.an tem.erature of 765 ℃ m.rk the rad.ogenic therm.l event. Equilibrated.s.ock features.（olivine m.s.icis.1} d.aplectic plagioclas., polycrys.alline troilite） d.e to an im.act-ind.ced.therm.l event reflect a s.ock pres.ure 〉45 GPa and.tem.erature of 600 ℃. By contras., the local d.s.quilibrium.s.ock features.（s.licate m.lt veins.com.ris.ng of olivine crys.allites. troilite m.lt veins.and.m.tal d.oplets. corres.ond.to a s.ock pres.ure up to 75 GPa and.tem.erature 〉950 ℃.

s.nthetic fibers.m.d. from.nylon or polypropylene have gained.application when loos. and.woven into geo textile form.although no inform.tion on the m.trix’s.m.chanical perform.nce is.obtained.s. that m.re und.rs.and.ng of their s.ructural contribution to res.s. cracking can be d.term.ned. This.paper pres.nts.the res.lts.of an experim.ntal inves.igation to d.term.ne the perform.nce characteris.ics.of concrete reinforced.with a polypropylene s.ructural fiber. In this.inves.igation “Fiber m.s.” brand.of fibers.m.nufactured.by s. Concrete s.s.em. Tennes.ee, Us. and.m.rketed.by m.s.m.llennium.Build.ng s.s.em. Inc., Ban-galore, Ind.a are us.d. The lengths.of the fibers.us.d.were 24 m.. Fiber d.s.ges.us.d.were 0.9, 1.8, 2.7 kg/m.. A total of three m.xtures. one for each fiber d.s.ge were m.d.. A s.and.rd.s.um. cone tes. was.cond.cted.on the fres. concrete m.x with and.without fibers.to d.term.ne the workability of the m.x. The tes. program.includ.d.the evaluation of hard.ned.concrete properties.s.ch as.com.res.ive, s.lit tens.le, m.d.lus.of rupture and.flexural s.rengths. The increas. in com.res.ive s.rength is.about 36.25%, 26.20%, and.23.75% res.ectively that of plain concrete. This.increas. in s.rength was.d.rectly proportional to am.unt of fibers.pres.nt in the m.x. The increas. in flexural s.rength for m.xes.I^III is.about 21%, 16.6%, and.23% res.ectively that of plain concrete s.ecim.ns. An experim.ntal inves.igation was.als. m.d. to s.ud. the behaviors.of reinforced.fibers.concrete beam. (with longitud.nal reinforcem.nts. und.r two-point load.ng. Pred.cting the properties.of two-d.m.ns.onal （2d. m.terials.as.graphene and.hexagonal boron nitrid. （h-BN） m.nolayers.after their growth on any given s.bs.rate is.a m.jor challenge. While the influence of the electron configuration of the atom. of the und.rlying s.rface is.well-und.rs.ood. the effect of s.bs.rate geom.try s.ill rem.ins.unclear. The s.ructural properties.of h-BN m.nolayers.grown on a rectangularly packed.Rh（110） s.rface were characterized.in s.tu by ultrahigh vacuum.s.anning tunneling m.cros.opy and.were com.ared.to thos. that this.m.terial exhibits.when grown on s.bs.rates.s.owing d.fferent crys.allographic orientations. Although the h-BN m.nolayer grown on Rh（110） was.d.m.nated.by a unique quas.unid.m.ns.onal m.ir6 pattern, s.gges.ing cons.d.rable interface interaction, the m.ir6 corrugation was.unexpected.y s.2}ller than thos. reported.for s.rongly interacting interfaces.with hexagonal-term.nated.s.bs.rates. owing to d.fferences.in the pos.ible bind.ng land.capes.at interfaces.with d.fferently oriented.s.bs.rates. m.reover, a rule was.d.rived.for pred.cting how interface corrugation and.the exis.ence and.extent of s.bregions.within m.ir6 s.percells.containing favorable s.tes.for orbital m.xing between h-BN m.nolayers.and.their s.pports.d.pend.on s.bs.rate s.m.etry. Thes. general s.m.etry cons.d.rations.can be applied.to num.rous.2d.m.terials. includ.ng graphene, thereby enabling the pred.ction of how s.bs.rate choice d.term.nes.the properties.of thes. m.terials. To d.te, few reports.have been concerned.with the phys.cal properties.of the liquid.phas.s.of im.d.zoles.and.benzim.d.zoles. potential s.arting m.terials.for a great num.er of ionic liquid.. Prior res.arch has.ind.cated.that alkylim.d.zole s.lvents.exhibit d.fferent, and.potentially ad.antageous.phys.cal properties. when com.ared.to corres.ond.ng im.d.zolium.bas.d.ionic liquid.. Given that even the m.s. fund.m.ntal phys.cal properties.of alkylim.d.zole s.lvents.have only recently been reported. there is.s.ill a lack of d.ta for other relevant im.d.zole d.rivatives. includ.ng benzim.d.zoles. In this.work, we have s.nthes.zed.a s.- ries.of eight 1-n-alkylbenzim.d.zoles. with chain lengths.ranging from.ethyl to d.d.cyl, all of which exis. as.neat liquid. at am.ient tem.erature. Their d.ns.ties.and.vis.os.ties.have been d.term.ned.as.functions.of both tem.erature and.m.lecular weight. Alkylbenzim.d.zoles.have been found.to exhibit vis.os.ties.that are m.re s.m.lar to im.d.zolium.bas.d.ILs.than al- kylim.d.zoles. owed.to a large contribution to vis.os.ty from.the pres.nce of a fus.d.ring s.s.em. s.lubilities.of CO2 and.s.2, two s.ecies.of concern in the em.s.ion of coal-fired.power generation, were d.term.ned.for s.lected.alkylbenzim.d.zoles.to und.rs.and.what effects.a fus.d.ring s.s.em.m.ght have on gas.s.lubility. For both gas.s. alkylbenzim.d.zoles.were d.ter- m.ned.to experience phys.cal, non-chem.cally reactive, interactions. The s.lubility of CO2 in alkylbenzim.d.zoles.is.10%-30% les. than obs.rved.for corres.ond.ng ILs.and.alkylim.d.zoles. 1-butylbenzim.d.zole was.found.to read.ly abs.rb at leas. 0.333 gram.s.2 per gram.at low pres.ure and.am.ient tem.erature, which could.be read.ly d.s.rbed.und.r an N： flus., a behavior m.re s.m.lar to im.d.zolium.bas.d.ILs.than alkylim.d.zoles. Thus. we find.that as.s.lvents.for gas.s.parations. benzim.d.zoles.s.are characteris.ics.with both ILs.and.alkylim.d.zoles.

This.work d.als.with the influences.of nano-heterogeneities.in the form.of void./cavities.or cracks.on the elas.ic (pleas. confirm.which word.is.correct. effective or elas.ic? Accord.ng to the title of paper, I choos. elas.ic.) properties.of a hos. m.d.um. With a relatively large ratio of apparent-s.rface to volum. and.particularly s.rong phys.cal interactions.with the s.rround.ng m.d.um.at nano-s.ale, nano-heterogeneities.can potentially affect the elas.ic(effective or elas.ic?) properties.of the parent m.d.um.(m.trix) containing them.in a s.gnificant m.nner. This.has.been reported.by various.theoretical and.experim.ntal s.ud.es. s.m. of them.are d.s.us.ed.in the pres.nt paper. To d.s.ribe the pos.tive (reinforcem.nt) or negative (d.grad.tion) effect of the nano-heterogeneities.from.the m.d.ling pers.ective, it is.neces.ary to take into account the energy of interfaces.s.rfaces.between nano-heterogeneities.and.the m.trix which, by the fact of the relatively large extent of their apparent s.rface and.their s.rong phys.cal interaction with their neighborhood. can no longer be neglected.com.ared.to thos. of the volum. energy. Thus. to account for the effects.of interfaces.s.rfaces.in a nanos.ructured.heterogeneous.m.d.um. the coherent interface m.d.l is.cons.d.red.in the pres.nt inves.igation within a period.c hom.genization proced.re. In this.interface/s.rface m.d.l, the d.s.lacem.nt vector is.as.um.d.to be continuous.acros. the interface while the s.res. vector is.cons.d.red.to be d.s.ontinuous.and.s.tis.ying the Laplace-Young equations.
