The accurate assessm.nt of soil properties is a crucial factor for com.osing and im.lem.nting reclam.tion plans. The m.in objective of this study was to evaluate soil chem.cal and physical properties and calculate the chem.cal and fertility index for assisting land reclam.tion in Toshka area. The Toshka area is located between latitudes 31°32'N and 31°36'N and longitudes 32°40'E and 32°60'E. GIS was used to select 16 sites. The results revealed the soil has undesirable characteristics. The soil pH ranged from.slightly alkaline to m.derately alkaline. Furtherm.re, it was characterized as saline (with a ECe of 4.65 - 11.45 dS⋅m.sup>−1) and m.derately calcareous soil (with CaCO3 at 11.85% - 17.20%). The soil had a low soil organic m.tter content which did not exceed 0.18%. The soil was dom.nated by a sandy loam.texture (62.50%) followed by a sandy clay loam.texture (18.75%). The bulk density, total soil porosity and saturated hydraulic conductivity values varied with 1.38 - 1.55 m.⋅cm.sup>−3, 41.85% - 48.45% and 1.20 - 3.34 cm.h−1, respectively. The chem.cal index ranged from.low to m.derate quality. The correlations between the param.ters osculated between negative and positive. Therefore, the soil m.y be reclaim.d if the soil properties are im.roved and crop selection is optim.zed for this soil.

This paper illustrates this capability by considering a com.on type of these system.;which is the double-pipe heat exchanger. While Solver is used for the optim.sation analysis, VBA is used for the developm.nt of a user-defined function (UDF) that determ.nes the optim.m.standard-pipe size for the system.

Background/Aim.: The objective of this study is to m.asure m.crophage inflam.atory protein one beta (m.P-1β), m.an platelet volum. (m.V) and platelet distribution width (PDW) to evaluate their usefulness in the diagnosis of spontaneous bacterial peritonitis (SBP) in cirrhotic patients. m.terials and m.thods: This study com.rised 41 cirrhotic patients with ascites. m.V, PDW and m.P-1β were m.asured in serum.and ascitic fluid. Results: A significant increase m.V, PDW, C-reactive Protein (CRP) and white blood cell was observed in SBP group com.ared to non SBP (P ≤ 0.001, P = 0 β was significantly in-creased in ascitic fluid in patients with SBP versus non SBP (P ≤ 0.001). At cutoff value of 8.3 fl m.V had 85.7% sensitivity and 75% specificity (AUC = 0.876) for diagnosis of SBP. At cutoff value of 15.4 PDW had 90.4% sensitivity and 55% specificity (AUC = 0.762). At cutoff value of 121.9 pg/m. m.P-1β in ascitic fluid had 76.1% sensitivity and 100% specificity (AUC = 0.881) for detecting SBP. Conclusion: m.P-1β and platelet indices are useful m.rker in the diagnosis of SBP in cirrhotic patients. Com.ined m.asurem.nt of m.P-1β in serum.and ascitic fluid had 100% sensitivity and specificity for diagnosis of SBP.

We address the physical and kinem.tical properties of Wolf–Rayet[WR]central stars(CSs)and their host planetary nebulae(PNe).The studied sam.le com.rises all[WR]CSs that are currently *** analysis is based on recent observations of the parallax,proper m.tion,and color index of[WR]CSs from.the Gaia space m.ssion’s early third release(eDR3)catalog,as well as com.on nebular *** results revealed an evolutionary sequence,in term. of decreasing Teff,from.the early hot[WO 1]to the late cold[WC 12]*** evolutionary sequence extends beyond[WR]CS tem.erature and lum.nosity to additional CS and nebular *** statistical analysis shows that the m.an final stellar m.ss and evolutionary age of the[WR]CS sam.le are 0.595±0.13m.and 9449±2437 yr,respectively,with a m.an nebular dynam.cal age of 7270±1380 *** addition,we recognize that the color of the m.jority(∼85%)of[WR]CSs tends to be red rather than their genuine blue *** analysis indicates that two-thirds of the apparent red color of m.st[WR]s is attributed to the interstellar extinction whereas the other one-third is due to the PN self-extinction effect.
