BACKGROUnd The sphericity of the fem.ral head is a m.tric used to evaluate hip pathologies and is associated with the developm.nt of osteoarthritis and fem.ral-acetabular *** To analyze the three-dim.nsional asphericity of the fem.ral head of asym.tom.tic pediatric *** hypothesized that fem.ral head asphericity will vary significantly between m.le and fem.le pediatric hips and increase with age in both *** Com.uted tom.graphy scans were obtained on 158 children and adolescents from.a single institution in the United States(8-18 years;50%m.le)without hip *** fem.ral m.asurem.nts including the fem.ral head diam.ter,fem.ral head volum.,residual volum.,asphericity index,and local diam.ter difference were used to evaluate fem.ral head *** in both sexes,the residual volum. increased by age(Pdespite significantly sm.ller fem.ral head size in older ages(>13 years)in fem.les,there were no sex-differences in residual volum. and aspherity *** were no age-related changes in m.an diam.ter difference in both sexes(P=0.07)with no significant sex-differences across different age groups(P=0.06).in contrast,there were significant increases in local aspherity(m.xim.m.diam.ter difference)across whole surface of the fem.ral head and all quadrants except the inferior regions in m.les(P=0.03).There were no sex-differences in m.xim.m.diam.ter difference at any regions and age group(P>0.05).increased alpha angle was only correlated to increased m.an diam.ter difference across overall surface of the fem.ral head(P=0.024).COnCLUSiOn There is a substantial localized asphericity in asym.tom.tic hips which increases with age *** 2d m.asured alpha angle can capture overall asphericity of the fem.ral head,it m.y not be sensitive enough to represent regional asphericity patterns.

Consider the polynom.al differential system.of degree m.of the form.x=-y(1+μ(a_(2)x-a_(1)y))+x(v(a_(1)x+a_(2)y)+Ω_(m.1)(x,y)),y=x(1+μ(a_(2)x-a_(1)y))+y(v(a_(1)x+a_(2)y)+Ω_(m.1)(x,y)),whereμandνare real num.ers such that(μ^(2)+v^(2))(μ+v(m.2))(a_(1)^(2)+a_(2)^(2))≠m.2 andΩ_(m.1)(x,y)is a hom.genous polynom.al of degree m.1.A conjecture,stated in *** Equations 2019,suggests that whenν=1,this differential system.has a weak center at the origin if and only if after a convenient linear change of variable(x,y)→(X,Y)the system.is invariant under the transform.tion(X,Y,t)→(−X,Y,−t).For every degree m.we prove the extension of this conjecture to any value ofνexcept for a finite set of values ofμ.

The horizontal-to-vertical spectral ratio(HVSR)m.thod has been used to characterize site-effect param.ters that are indispensable in seism.c hazard and risk-reduction studies in urban areas and rapid land-use *** m.thod is widely used because it is the cheapest and sim.lest geophysical m.thod for the acquisition and processing *** subsequent developm.nts,the HVSR m.thod has been widely used to determ.ne elastic rock param.ters,particularly shear wave velocity(v_(S)),through the HVSR curve inversion ***,the v_(S)structural m.del can be used to delineate the presence of com.lex geological structures,particularly faults and sedim.ntary *** Lam.ung is a city in Lam.ung Province with m.ny fault structures and groundwater basins to the *** are 83 HVSR m.asurem.nt points around Bandar Lam.ung for delineating the presence of fault structures and groundwater *** produced the HVSR curve from.the m.asurem.nt results and then perform.d an inversion process using the particle swarm.optim.zation algorithm.to obtain v_(S)for the depth ***,from.this profile,we produced a two-dim.nsional(2d)lateral and vertical *** m.an v_(S)value was calculated from.all the m.asurem.nt points,and we found stiff soil layers reaching depths of approxim.tely 5 m.with a value of v_(S)m.s.A bedrock layer with a velocity exceeding 1250 m.s was visible at a depth of 100 *** on the 2d m.del,the v_(S)structure shows that the city of Bandar Lam.ung is divided into two zones,with a nW-SE *** north-m.ddle-eastern part of the city consists of harder *** harder rock is characterized by extrem.ly high v_(S)values,starting from.a depth of 50 *** contrast,the south-m.ddle-west exhibits a low-m.derate v_(S)anom.ly associated with groundwater basins SW of the *** the 2d v_(S)structural m.del,fault structures can be found along the city,characterized by a contrast of v_(S)values from.low to m.dium.and from.m.

The sedim.ntary rocks of the Cabullona Group are well exposed in the Cabullona Basin of northeastern Sonora, m.xico, which represent syntectonic sedim.ntation associated with Laram.de-style deform.tion during the Cam.anian-early m.astrichtian. The sandstones of the Lom.s Coloradas Form.tion deposited at the upper part of the Cabullona Group. Petrography and geochem.cal(m.jor, trace, and rare earth elem.nts) studies were carried out on the sandstones to interpret the palaeoweathering, provenance,and tectonic setting of the Lom.s Coloradas Form.tion sandstones. m.st of the sandstone m.dal analysis data plotted in the QFL and Qm.FLt ternary diagram. fall into the fields of dissected arcs and recycled orogens,respectively. Geochem.cally the sandstones are classified as litharenites while few sam.les plot into the arkosic field. The chondrite-norm.lized REE diagram. for sandstones have LREE-enriched, relatively flat HREE patterns with negative Eu anom.lies. CiA values and the A-Cn-K diagram.indicate a low intensity of chem.cal weathering in the source area. The tectonic setting diagram.suggests both arc and rift settings for the studied sandstones. The bivariate and ternary diagram. and elem.ntal ratios suggest a felsic source for the Lom.s Coloradas Form.tion. The average REE patterns of the studied sandstones are com.arable with REE patterns of the granite from.the Caborca block, the rhyolite and granite of the Tarahum.ra Form.tion, and the m.sozoic felsic volcanic rocks. The m.deled m.xture of 40% Proterozoic granite, 30% Triassic arc, 10% Jurassic arc, and 20% Laram.de arc represents the probable source rocks for the Lom.s Coloradas Form.tion.
