Direct m.crowave leaching conditions of rare earth elem.nts in fluorescent wastes

The lum.nescent phosphor powder in the fluorescent lam. constitutes 2%of the lam.’s weight.It can be m.ntioned that fluorescent wastes are a crucial raw m.terial to produce rare earth oxides.In the present study,m.crowave leaching process was conducted to dissolve rare earth elem.nts yttrium.Y),europium.Eu),and rem.ining rare earth elem.nts(REEs)present in the phosphor powder of the fluorescent lam..and the yields were com.ared.In the m.crowave leaching process,the effects of the tem.erature(80-160℃),acid type(hydrochloric acid(HCl),nitric acid(HNO_(3)),sulphuric acid(H_(2)SO_(4))),acid concentration(0.5-6 m.l/L),solid to liquid ratio(0.1:10-0.5:10)and reaction tim.(5-90 m.n)param.ters on leaching efficiencies of varying rare earth elem.nts and calcium.were investigated.The highest yield was obtained in the direct m.crowave leaching of fluorescent waste with the experim.ntal conditions of 6 m.l/L HCl,160℃,0.1:10 solid-to-liquid ratio(S:L),and 90 m.n.Activation energy calculations were m.de,and kinetic m.dels of the reactions were obtained,and it is observed that Y and Eu dissolution is diffusion-controlled,on the other hand,lanthanum.La),cerium.Ce),and terbium.Tb)were exam.ned to be chem.cal reaction controlled.m.reover,calcium.Ca)and gadolinium.Gd)seem.coherent with the m.xed m.del.Concurrently,m.them.tical m.dels of all experim.ntal studies are created with the response surface box-behnken m.thod and the correlation coefficients of all the m.dels are over 90%.

Soils in extraterrestrial space: Need for studies under m.crogravity

With the increased interest of plants in space, gravity cannot be ignored when studying soil-plant-water relations. Therefore, it is im.ortant to understand the water relations of soils under zero gravity in space or under reduced gravity on the m.on or m.rs. This paper outlines the problem. of m.ving water in soils under zero gravity or m.crogravity, as well as growing plants in these soils. It is suggested that m.crogravity experim.nts could be done on Earth using both soils and plants. Results from.such experim.nts could be used to grow plants when m.nkind establishes bases on the m.on and m.rs.

Quantum.correlations that surpass entanglem.nt are of great im.ortance in the realm. of quantum.inform.tion processing and quantum.com.utation.Essentially,for quantum.system. prepared in pure states,it is difficult to differentiate between quantum.entanglem.nt and quantum.correlation.Nonetheless,this indistinguishability is no longer holds for m.xed states.To contribute to a better understanding of this differentiation,we have explored a sim.le m.del for both generating and m.asuring these quantum.correlations.Our study concerns two m.croscopic m.chanical resonators placed in separate Fabry–Pérot cavities,coupled through the photon hopping process.this system.offers a com.rehensively way to investigate and quantify quantum.correlations beyond entanglem.nt between these m.chanical m.des.The key ingredient in analyzing quantum.correlation in this system.is the global covariance m.trix.It form. the basis for com.uting two essential m.trics:the logarithm.c negativity(E_(N)^(m.)and the Gaussian interferom.tric power(P_(G)^(m.).These m.trics provide the tools to m.asure the degree of quantum.entanglem.nt and quantum.correlations,respectively.Our study reveals that the Gaussian interferom.tric power(P_(G)^(m.)proves to be a m.re suitable m.tric for characterizing quantum.correlations am.ng the m.chanical m.des in an optom.chanical quantum.system.particularly in scenarios featuring resilient photon hopping.

Objective:To investigate the interrelationship between cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception,behavioural intention,and INTERHEART risk stratification in a m.ddle-aged adult population in m.laysia.m.thods:A cross-sectional survey with convenience sam.ling was conducted during Novem.er 2022 and January 2023.Participants com.leted validated questionnaires assessing cardiovascular health awareness,risk perception of cardiovascular diseases,behavioural intention towards adopting healthy habits,and INTERHEART risk stratification score(IHRS)based on established risk factors.A total of 602 respondents were included in the final analysis.Data were analysed with independent t-test/one-way ANOVA or m.nn-Whitney/Kruskal-Wallis to test the differences,Pearson correlation or linear regression test to analyze the association of independent and dependent variables.Results:There was a significant positive correlation between m.dical knowledge related to cardiovascular disease(CVD)and knowledge related to CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioural intention and IHRS(Pbly,individuals with higher IHRS tended to have lower knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,and behavioural intention.m.les,laborers,active/form.r sm.kers,individuals with lower household incom. and educational levels,those involved in occupations not related to the healthcare sector,and those who did not receive the CVD health brochure or are unaware of health self-assessm.nt tools are likely to have lower levels of knowledge,risk perception,and poorer behavioural intention regarding cardiovascular health(Pm.king status,awareness about CVD poster,self-assessm.nt tools were repeatedly significantly associated with knowledge related to CVD and CVD risk prevention,risk perception,behavioral intention and/or IHRS(Pm.ortance of prom.ting cardiovascular health awareness and risk perception

The present study was to evaluate the effect of trace m.nerals(Zn, m., and Cu) from.com.lexed am.no acid m.nerals(Zm.AA) and bis-glycinate chelated m.nerals(Zm.Gly) in laying hen diets on perform.nce,internal and external egg quality, yolk m.neral deposition, intestinal m.rphom.try, and bone characteristics. From.78 to 98 weeks of age, 400 White LSL-Lite strain laying hens were distributed in a random.zed design with 4 treatm.nts with 10 replicates per treatm.nt. Treatm.nts were distributed in a 2 ×2 factorial arrangem.nt using either Zn, m., and Cu of Zm.AA or Zm.Gly source at 2 levels: low(20, 20,and 3.5 m./kg of Zn, m., and Cu, respectively) or high(40, 40, and 7 m./kg of Zn, m., and Cu,respectively). The analysis of variance was perform.d, and in cases where differences were observed, the m.ans were com.ared using Tukey?s test(P m.neral supplem.ntation had a significant im.act on the perform.nce of laying hens. Hens fed Zm.AA had higher egg production(P = 0.01), egg weight(P = 0.02), egg m.ss(P = 0.01), and lower feed conversion ratio(P =0.05) com.ared to those fed Zm.Gly. The Zm.AA supplem.ntation showed higher album.n height(P =0.01), album.n weight(P = 0.01), and eggshell thickness(P m.(Pm.AA. Tibia weight(P = 0.04)and bone densitom.try(P bia were higher with Zm.AA supplem.ntation. In the sm.ll intestine, Zm.AA resulted in longer villi(P = 0.02) and shorter crypt depth(P = 0.01) in the duodenum.Jejunum.and ileum.m.asurem.nts were influenced by the level and source of trace m.nerals(P m.AA exhibited superior perform.nce, egg quality, deposition of trace m.nerals in the egg yolk, and bone density com.ared to hens fed Zm.Gly. In this study, older laying hens supplem.nted with Zm.AA at lower levels dem.nstrated adequate levels of supplem.ntation.

Sem.-analytical investigation of heat transfer in a porous convective radiative m.ving longitudinal fin exposed to m.gnetic field in the presence of a shape-dependent trihybrid nanofluid

The therm.l exam.nation of a non-integer-ordered m.bile fin with a m.gnetism.in the presence of a trihybrid nanofluid(Fe_3O_4-Au-Zn-blood) is carried out. Three types of nanoparticles, each having a different shape, are considered. These shapes include spherical(Fe_3O_4), cylindrical(Au), and platelet(Zn) configurations. The com.ination approach is utilized to evaluate the physical and therm.l characteristics of the trihybrid and hybrid nanofluids, excluding the therm.l conductivity and dynam.c viscosity. These two properties are inferred by m.ans of the interpolation m.thod based on the volum. fraction of nanoparticles. The governing equation is transform.d into a dim.nsionless form. and the Adom.an decom.osition Sum.du transform.m.thod(ADSTm. is adopted to solve the conundrum.of a m.ving fin im.ersed in a trihybrid nanofluid. The obtained results agree well with those num.rical sim.lation results, indicating that this research is reliable. The influence of diverse factors on the therm.l overview for varying noninteger values of γ is analyzed and presented in graphical representations. Furtherm.re, the fluctuations in the heat transfer concerning the pertinent param.ters are studied. The results show that the heat flux in the presence of the com.ination of spherical, cylindrical, and platelet nanoparticles is higher than that in the presence of the com.ination of only spherical and cylindrical nanoparticles. The tem.erature at the fin tip increases by 0.705 759% when the value of the Peclet num.er increases by 400%, while decreases by 11.825 13% when the value of the Hartm.n num.er increases by 400%.

bACKGROUND Validation of the reference gene(RG)stability during experim.ntal analyses is essential for correct quantitative real-tim. polym.rase chain reaction(RT-qPCR)data norm.lisation.Com.only,in an unreliable way,several studies use genes involved in essential cellular functions[glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate dehydro-genase(GAPDH),18S rRNA,andβ-actin]without paying attention to whether they are suitable for such experim.ntal conditions or the reason for choosing such genes.Furtherm.re,such studies use only one gene when m.nim.m.Inform.tion for Publication of Quantitative Real-Tim. Objective:To evaluate the effect of ureteral access sheath(UAS)use and calibration change on stone-free rate and com.lications of retrograde intrarenal surgery(RIRS).m.thods:Data from.568 patients undergoing RIRS for kidney or upper ureteral stones were retrospectively included.Firstly,patients were com.ared after 1:1 propensity score m.tching,according to UAS usage during RIRS(UAS used[+]87 and UAS non-used[−]87 patients).Then all UAS+patients(n=481)were subdivided according to UAS calibration:9.5-11.5 Fr,10-12 Fr,11-13 Fr,and 13-15 Fr.Prim.ry outcom.s of the study were the success and com.lications of RIRS.Results:Stone-free rate of UAS+patients(86.2%)was significantly higher than UAS−patients(70.1%)after propensity score m.tching(p=0.01).Stone-free rate increased with higher caliber UAS(9.5-11.5 Fr:66.7%;10-12 Fr:87.0%;11-13 Fr:90.6%;13-15 Fr:100%;pm.lications of UAS+patients(11.5%)were significantly lower than UAS−patients(27.6%)(p=0.01).Com.lications(8.7%)with 9.5-11.5 Fr UAS was lower than thicker UAS(17.2%)but was not statistically significant(p=0.09).UAS usage was an independent factor predicting stone-free status or peri-and post-operative com.lications(odds ratio[OR]3.654,95%confidence interval[CI]1.314-10.162;OR 4.443,95%CI 1.350-14.552;OR 4.107,95%CI 1.366-12.344,respectively).Conclusion:Use of UAS in RIRS m.y increase stone-free rates,which also increase with higher caliber UAS.UAS usage m.y reduce com.lications;however,com.lications seem.ngly increase with higher UAS calibration.

This study reports the analytical solution for a generalized rotational pendulum.system.with gallows and periodic excited forces.The m.ltiple scales m.thod(m.m.is applied to solve the proposed problem.Several types of rotational pendulum.oscillators are studied and talked about in detail.These include the forced dam.ed rotating pendulum.oscillator with gallows,the dam.ed standard sim.le pendulum.oscillator,and the dam.ed rotating pendulum.oscillator without gallows.The m.m.first-order approxim.tions for all the cases m.ntioned are derived in detail.The obtained results are illustrated with concrete num.rical exam.les.The first-order m.m.approxim.tions are com.ared to the fourth-order Runge-Kutta(RK4)num.rical approxim.tions.Additionally,the m.xim.m.error is estim.ted for the first-order approxim.tions obtained through the m.m.com.ared to the num.rical approxim.tions obtained by the RK4 m.thod.Furtherm.re,we conducted a com.arative analysis of the outcom.s obtained by the used m.thod(m.m.and He-m.m.to ascertain their respective levels of precision.The proposed m.thod can be applied to analyze m.ny strong nonlinear oscillatory equations.

Astrophysical S-factor and reaction rate for 15N(p,γ)16O within the m.dified potential cluster m.del

We study radiative p^(15)N capture on the ground state of ^(16)O at stellar energies within the fram.work of a m.dified potential cluster m.del(m.Cm.with forbidden states,including low-lying resonances.The investigation of the ^(15)N(p,γ0)^(16)O reaction includes the consideration of ^(3)S_(1) resonances due to E1 transitions and the contribution of the ^(3)P_(1) scattering wave in the p+^(15)N channel due to the ^(3)P_(1)→^(3)P_(0)m. transition.We calculated the astrophysical low-energy S-factor,and the extrapolated S(0)turned out to be within 34.7−40.4 keV·b.The im.ortant role of the asym.totic constant(AC)for the ^(15)N(p,γ0)16O process with interfering ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances is elucidated.A com.arison of our calculation for the S-factor with existing experim.ntal and theoretical data is addressed,and a reasonable agreem.nt is found.The reaction rate is calculated and com.ared with the existing rates.It has negligible dependence on the variation of AC but shows a strong im.act of the interference of ^(3)S_(1)(312)and ^(3)S_(1)(962)resonances in reference to the CNO Gam.w windows,especially at low tem.eratures.We estim.te the contribution of cascade transitions to the reaction rate based on the exclusive experim.ntal data from.Phys.Rev.C.85,065810(2012).The reaction rate enhancem.nt due to the cascade transitions is observed from.T_(9)>0.3 and reaches the m.xim.m.factor~1.3 at T_(9)=1.3.We present the Gam.w energy window and a com.arison of rates for radiative proton capture reactions ^(12)N(p,γ)^(13)O,^(13)N(p,γ)^(14)O,^(14)N(p,γ)^(15)O,and ^(15)N(p,γ)^(16)O obtained in the fram.work of the m.Cm.and provide the tem.erature windows,prevalence,and significance of each process.
