BACKGROUND Cardioneuroablation(CNA)has shown encouraging results in patients with vasovagal syncope(VVS).However,data on different subtypes was *** This observational study retrospectively enrolled 141 patients[m.an age:40±18 years,51 m.les(36.2%)]with the diagnosis of *** characteristics am.ng different types of VVS and the outcom.s after CNA were *** After a m.an follow-up of 4.3±1.5 years,41 patients(29.1%)experienced syncope/pre-syncope events after ***/pre-syncope recurrence significantly differed in each subtype(P=0.04).The cardioinhibitory type of VVS had the lowest recurrence rate after the procedure(n=6,16.7%),followed by m.xed(n=26,30.6%)and vasodepressive(n=9,45.0%).Additionally,a significant difference was observed in the analyses of the Kaplan-m.ier survival curve(P=0.02).Syncope/pre-syncope burden was significantly reduced after CNA in the vasodepressive type(Pm. vs.9.0±1.6 m.,P=0.01).Patients with DCm. had an 8.1(HR=8.1,95%CI:2.2-30.0,P=0.02)tim.s risk of syncope/pre-syncope recurrence after CNA com.ared to patients with DC≥8.4 m.,and this association still existed after adjusting for age and sex(HR=8.1,95%CI:2.2-30.1,P=0.02).CONCLUSIONS Different subtypes exhibit different event-free *** vasodepressive type exhibited the lowest event-free rate,but those patients with DC≥8.4 m. m.ght benefit from.CNA.

Endoscopic features and treatm.nts of gastric cystica profunda

BACKGROUND Gastric cystica profunda(GCP)represents a rare condition characterized by cystic dilation of gastric glands within the m.cosal and/or subm.cosal *** is often linked to,or m.y progress into,early gastric cancer(EGC).AIm.To provide a com.rehensive evaluation of the endoscopic features of GCP while assessing the efficacy of endoscopic treatm.nt,thereby offering guidance for diagnosis and *** This retrospective study involved 104 patients with GCP who underwent endoscopic *** dem.graphic and clinical data,regular patient followups were conducted to assess local *** Am.ng the 104 patients diagnosed with GCP who underwent endoscopic resection,12.5%had a history of previous gastric *** prim.ry site predom.nantly affected was the cardia(38.5%,n=40).GCP com.only exhibited intralum.nal growth(99%),regular presentation(74.0%),and ulcerative m.cosa(61.5%).The leading endoscopic feature was the m.cosal lesion type(59.6%,n=62).The average m.xim.m.diam.ter was 20.9±15.3 m.,with m.cosal involvem.nt in 60.6%(n=63).Procedures lasted 73.9±57.5 m.n,achieving com.lete resection in 91.3%(n=95).Recurrence(4.8%)was m.naged via either surgical intervention(n=1)or through endoscopic resection(n=4).Final pathology confirm.d that 59.6%of GCP cases were associated with *** analysis indicated that elderly m.les were m.re susceptible to GCP associated with ***,m.ltivariate analysis identified lesion m.rphology and endoscopic features as significant risk *** analysis dem.nstrated no statistically significant difference in recurrence between GCP with and without EGC(P=0.72).CONCLUSION The findings suggested that endoscopic resection m.ght serve as an effective and m.nim.lly invasive treatm.nt for GCP with or without EGC.
