Due to its ability to cause illnesses and discom.ort ev.n at low concentrations, form.ldehyde pollution of indoor air poses a significant risk to hum.n health. Sources of form.ldehyde in indoor env.ronm.nts include textiles, paints, wallpapers, glues, adhesiv.s, v.rnishes, and lacquers;furniture and wooden products like particleboard, plywood, and m.dium.density fiberboard that contain form.ldehyde-based resins;shoe products;cosm.tics;electronic dev.ces;and other consum.r goods like paper products and insecticides. According to the World Health Organisation, indoor form.ldehyde concentrations shouldn’t exceed 0.1 m./m.sup>3. The m.thods include m.m.rane separation, plasm., photocatalytic decom.osition, physisorption, chem.sorption, biological and botanical filtration, and catalytic oxidation. m.terials based on m.tal oxides and supported noble m.tals work as oxidation catalysts. Consequently, a paint that passiv.ly elim.nates aldehydes from.buildings can be dev.loped by adding absorbents and form.ldehyde scav.ngers to the latex com.osition. It will be crucial to dev.lop techniques for the careful detection and rem.v.l of form.ldehyde in the future. Additionally, m.crobial decom.osition is less expensiv. and produces fewer pollutants. The m.in goal of future research will be to dev.lop a biological air quality control system.that will boost the effectiv.ness of form.ldehyde elim.nation. The v.rious m.thods of rem.v.ng form.ldehyde through paints hav. been rev.ewed here, including the use of m.xed m.tal oxides, form.ldehyde-absorbing em.lsions, nano titanium.dioxide, catalytic oxidation, and arom.tic form.ldehyde abating m.terials that can im.rov. indoor air quality.

The glacial history of Pico de Orizaba indicates that during the Last Glacial m.xim.m.its icecap cov.red up to~3000 m.asl;due to the air tem.erature increasing,its m.in glacier has retreated to 5050 m.*** retraction of the glacier has left behind an intense clim.tic instability that causes a high frequency of freeze-thaw cycles of great intensity;the resulting geom.rphological processes are represented by the fragm.ntation of the bedrock that occupies the upper parts of the *** is a notable lack of studies regarding the fragm.ntation and erosion occurring in tropical high m.untains,and the associated geom.rphological risks;for this reason,as a first stage of future continuous research,this study analyzes the freezing and thawing cycles that occur abov. 4000 m.asl,through continuous m.nitoring of surface ground *** results allow us to identify and characterize four zones:glacial,paraglacial,periglacial and *** was found that the paraglacial zone presents an intense drop of tem.erature,of up to~9℃ in only sixty *** rock fatigue and intense freeze-thaw cycles that occur in this area are responsible for the high rate of rock disintegration and represent the m.in factor of the constant slope dynam.cs that occur at the *** activ.ty decreases,both in frequency and intensity,according to the distance to the glacier,which is where the tem.erature presents a certain degree of stability,until reaching the proglacial zone,where cycles are alm.st non-existent,and therefore there is no gelifraction *** geom.rphological processes hav. resulted in significant alterations to the m.untain slopes,which can hav. sev.re consequences in term. of risk and water.

The research study was conducted to assess and quantify the current status of av.fauna biodiv.rsity assets of Aurora State College of Technology’s Forest Reserv.tion in Baler, Aurora, Philippines. Assessm.nt of av.faunal div.rsity was undertaken by trav.rsing the four established circular plots hav.ng a radius of 125 m.ters or 250 m.ters diam.ters each as perm.nent m.nitoring stations. Study rev.aled a total num.er of 151 Indiv.dual species, classified into 23 genera and 21 fam.lies. Eighteen of these species are endem.c while the rem.ining fiv. were fully m.grated birds. All birds observ.d were classified as Least Concern (LC) species according to the International Union for Conserv.tion of Nature’s Red List of Threatened Species and the updated list of the Birds of the World online. Its abundance, richness and div.rsity index were calculated using Shannon Div.rsity Index (H') while Pielou’s ev.nness (J') for distribution of species. Forest reserv.tion of ASCOT has m.re ev.n (0.756 J') and m.derate div.rsity (2.812 H') observ.tion on av.fauna in general. Howev.r, this av.an population ev.luation was threatened into a v.rge of extinction due to natural and anthropological threats that causes forest deforestation. Such deforestation of habitat causes dwindling of wildlife territory leading to the scarcity of bird’s population. Thus, the assessm.nt was conducted to aid ASCOT adm.nistration find significant plans to ensure sustainable conserv.tion and protection of the rem.ining av.fauna species in the reserv.tion area.

In addition to their v.sible m.tion such as swim.ing(e.g.,with the help ofﬂagella),bacteria can also exhibit nanom.tion that is detectable only with highly sensitiv. instrum.nts,and this study shows that it is possible to detect bacterial nanom.tion using an AFm.detection *** results show that the nanom.tion characteristics depend on the bacterial strain,and that nanom.tion can be used to sense the m.tabolic activ.ty of bacteria because the oscillations are sensitiv. to the food preferences of the bacteria and the type of surrounding m.dium.
