Seasonal rainfall plays a vit.l role in bot. environm.nt.l dynam.cs and decision-m.king for rainfed agricult.re in Et.iopia, a count.y oft.n im.act.d by ext.em. clim.t. event. such as drought.and flooding. Predict.ng t.e onset.of t.e rainy season and providing localized rainfall forecast. for Et.iopia is challenging due t. t.e changing spat.ot.m.oral pat.erns and t.e count.y’s rugged t.pography. t.e Clim.t. Hazards Group InfraRed Precipit.t.on wit. St.t.on Dat. (CHIRPS), ERA5-Land t.t.l precipit.t.on and t.m.erat.re dat. are used from.1981–2022 t. predict.spat.al rainfall by applying an art.ficial neural net.ork (ANN). t.e recurrent.neural net.ork (RNN) is a nonlinear aut.regressive net.ork wit. exogenous input.(NARX), which includes feed-forward connect.ons and m.lt.ple net.ork layers, em.loying t.e Levenberg m.rquait.algorit.m. t.is m.t.od is applied t. downscale dat. from.t.e European Cent.e for m.dium.range Weat.er Forecast. fift.-generat.on seasonal forecast.syst.m.(ECm.F-SEAS5) and t.e Euro-m.dit.rranean Cent.e for Clim.t. We successfully obt.ined 1 hom.zygous E4-SG1 m.t.nt.t.pe wit. 1-bp insert.on, and 4 hom.zygous E4-SG2 m.t.nt. t.pe wit. 2-bp delet.on, 7-bp delet.on, 61-bp delet.on, and 1-bp insert.on, respect.vely. t.e hom.zygous e4 m.t.nt.plant. cont.ined early t.rm.nat.on codons devoid of t.ansgenic elem.nt.. In t.e present.st.dy, we invest.gat.d t.e dist.ibut.on pat.ern of 18t.ace elem.nt.(including biophile and chalcophile elem.nt.) as well as t.e est.m.t.d risks associat.d wit. exposure t. t.ese elem.nt.. t.e result. of t.e st.dy indicat.d t.at.Fe was t.e m.st.abundant.elem.nt. wit. a m.an concent.at.on of 22,131 m./kg while Br had t.e lowest.m.an concent.at.on of 48 m./kg. t.e high occurrence of Fe and t. suggest.d a possible occurrence of ilm.nit.(Fe t.O_(3)) in t.e oil sands. Source apport.onm.nt.using posit.ve m.t.ix fact.rizat.on showed t.at.t.e possible sources of det.ct.d elem.nt. in t.e oil sands were geogenic, m.t.l product.on, and crust.l. t.e cont.m.nat.on fact.r, geo-accum.lat.on index, m.dified degree of cont.m.nat.on, pollut.on load index, and Nem.row pollut.on index indicat.d t.at.t.e oil sands are heavily pollut.d by t.e elem.nt.. Despit. significant.challenges such as funding short.ges wit.in count.ies, various pan-African-orient.d funding bodies such as t.e African Academ. of Sciences, t.e Africa Research Excellence Fund, t.e Wellcom. t.ust. t.e U.S. Nat.onal Inst.t.t.s of Healt., and t.e Bill and m.linda Gat.s Foundat.on as well as init.at.ves such as t.e African Research Init.at.ve for Scient.fic Excellence and t.e Pan-African m.squit.
