Transcatheter closure of the left atrial appendage with the Am.latzer cardiac plug device and double antiplatelet treatm.nt for 3 m. has becom. an alternative treatm.nt for patients with atrial fibrillation at high em.olism.risk and contraindications for chronic oral *** inadequate im.lantation of the left atrial appendage closure device and the discontinuation of double antiplatelet therapy are well-known as factors related to device ***,device throm.osis after adequate im.lantation requiring surgical treatm.nt or restarting chronic oral anticoagulation has been reported and can reach 15% of *** connector pin throm.osis of the Am.latzer cardiac plug,despite a good adherence to antiplatelet treatm.nt,has been recently described as a potential m.chanism.for device *** clinical case reports the m.nagem.nt of this condition for the first tim.,showing that the early detection of throm.otic com.lications by transesophageal echocardiography perm.ts solving this serious com.lication with m.dical treatm.nt only.

*** strongest locus which associated with type 2 diabetes(T2D)by the com.on variant rs7903146 is the transcription factor 7-like 2 gene(TCF7L2).We aim.d to quantify the interaction of diet/lifestyle interventions and the genetic effect of TCF7L2 rs7903146 on glycem.c traits,body weight,or waist circum.erence in overweight or obese adults in several random.zed controlled trials(RCTs).*** October 2016 to m.y 2018,a large collaborative analysis was perform.d by pooling individualparticipant data from.7 *** RCTs reported changes in glycem.c control and adiposity of the variant rs7903146 after dietary/lifestyle-related interventions in overweight or obese *** treatm.nt interaction m.dels which used the genetic effect encoded by the allele dose and com.on covariates were applicable to individual participant data in all *** the joint analysis,a total of 7 eligible RCTs were included(n=4,114).Im.ortantly,we observed a significant effect m.dification of diet/lifestyle-related interventions on the TCF7L2 variant rs7903146 and changes in fasting *** with the control group,diet/lifestyle interventions were related to lower fasting glucose by-3.06(95%CI,-5.77 to-0.36)m./dL(test for heterogeneity and overall effect:I^(2)=45:1%,pm.c control and adiposity traits per one copy of TCF7L2 risk *** findings suggest that carrying the TCF7L2 T risk allele m.y have a m.destly greater benefit for specific diet/lifestyle interventions to im.rove the control of fasting glucose in overweight or obese adults.
