Objective:To evaluate antim.crobial and antioxidant properties of saline extract from.Tithonia diversifolia leaves by phytochem.cal bioprospecting,and investigate its safety against anim.l ***:The saline extract was prepared,with NaCl(0.15 m.,by constant stirring of the dried and pulverized leaves,followed by volum. reduction by *** extract was phytochem.cal characterized using ultra-perform.nce liquid chrom.tography,and total phenol and flavonoid analysis also was *** antioxidant capacity was determ.ned through DPPH*radical,the antim.crobial property was evaluated against standard bacteria and fungi,and the viability assays were perform.d against m.ce ***:Fifteen com.ounds were identified belonging to two m.in classes terpenoids and *** extract showed 22.185 m. GAE/g of total phenolic com.ounds and 3.220 m. QE/g of ***,extract showed higher antioxidant ability sim.lar to butylated hydroxytoluene a standard m.lecule[(3.042±0.019)m. AAE/g and(4.12±0.10)m. AAE/g to saline extract and butylated hydroxytoluene,respectively].The antim.crobial assays dem.nstrated that the extract had a significant antifungal potential against Candida species and could be used with safety against m.ce splenocytes,in concentrations lower than 50μg/m.,prom.ting higher proliferation in these ***:Saline extract from.Tithonia diversifolia leaves presents potential antioxidant,antifungal properties and induces im.unostim.lation in m.ce splenocytes.

Nowadays,food security is a global concern and a great scientific ***-industrial by-products can be used as potential ingredients of innovative food products,contributing to solve this societal ***-products of high specialty oils processing,for instance,have rem.rkable nutritional and organoleptic ***,the partially delipidified alm.nd flour(PDAF)rem.ining from.alm.nd oil extraction,was used as an alternative ingredient in a highly appreciated alm.nd-based cookie(“alm.ndrados”).For com.arison purposes,four different“alm.ndrados”form.lations(one industrial,two with PDAF,and one with whole alm.nd flour),were com.ared regarding nutritional com.osition,vitam.n E and fatty acids *** assess the cookie sensory properties,seventy-four consum.rs evaluated“appearance”,“taste”,“sweetness”,“crunchiness”,“hardness”,“overall quality”using adequate hedonic *** and protein levels showed significant differences am.ng industrial and the other three *** with PDAF presented sim.lar tocopherols and fatty acids to the traditional(m.re expensive)form.lation,besides reaching the highest scores on“appearance”,“sweetness”,“hardness”,“overall quality”and“buying predisposition”***,the incorporation of PDAF m.ght represent an effective way of adding value to an industrial by-product,while providing a pleasant novel cookie form.lation.

Leishm.niasis is an infectious disease that affects both anim.ls and hum.ns, caused by flagellated parasites belonging to the genus Leishm.nia. The disease is estim.ted to reach about 700,000 to 1 m.llion people, causing the deaths of 20 to 30,000 individuals annually. Thus, the present study aim. to perform.m.lecular docking tests and evaluation of antileishm.nia.a.tivity in vitro of a ruthenium.com.lex with epiisopiloturine and nitric oxide. AutoDockTools-1.5.6 software was used to perform.m.lecular docking tests. m.lecular targets were considered rigid, and Epiruno2 considered flexible. The genetic algorithm.Lam.rckian (AGL) with global search and pseudo-Solis and Wets with local search were the m.thods adopted in the docking. The m.st prom.sing results of m.lecular interaction were achieved in the targets Pteridine reductase and UDP-glucose Pyrophosphorylase with rates of -10.68 Kcal·m.l-1 and -10.51 Kcal·m.l-1, respectively. This dem.nstrates that Epiruno2 has m.lecular affinity with the targets of L. m.jor. In vitro assays prove the antileishm.nia.a.tivity of the com.lex in the face of prom.stigote form. with inhibition of growth, concluding through this study that the Epiruno2 com.lex has antileishm.nia.a.tivity.

Evaluation of m.lk Com.ositional Quality and m.m.ary Gland Health of Dairy Herds in the Southwestern Brazilian Am.zon

Sam.les of raw m.lk from.bulk cooling tanks were collected in five m.nicipalities of the Southwestern Brazilian Am.zon to establish the prevalence of Staphylococcus aueus and Streptococcus agalactiae, as well as to evaluate the m.lk com.osition and its correlation with the bulk tank som.tic cell count (BTSCC). A total of 250 sam.les were collected to investigate the causal agents of bovine m.stitis in whole m.lk, from.50 bulk m.lk tanks in each m.nicipality. Under laboratory conditions, the sam.les were diluted to 1/10 and 1/100, and sam.les of 0.1 m. from.each dilution were plated in triplicate on selective m.dia for Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus agalactiae. To evaluate the correlation between the m.jor m.lk com.onents (fat, protein and lactose) and the BTSCC, sam.les were collected for 18 m.nths from.73 dairy herds. The presence of the above-m.ntioned contagious m.stitis pathogens was detected in 97.2% (243/250) of refrigerated raw m.lk sam.les evaluated. Analysis of the m.jor m.lk com.onents and BTSCC dem.nstrated that during the study period, fat com.o-nent showed the largest variance, followed by protein and lactose, which also showed significant variances.

Quantitative scintigraphic analysis of the apical seal in Therm.fil/Topseal and Real Seal 1/Realseal filled root canals

AIm. To investigate the m.croleakage of two different root canal obturation system., using the nuclear m.dicine ***: Twenty-six single-rooted extracted teeth were selected. The crowns were sectioned to obtain 15-m. long root segm.nts and each tooth was prepared using rotary Pro File instrum.nts. The roots were divided into 2 experim.ntal groups using Real Seal 1 and Real Seal sealer or Therm.fil and Top Seal sealer as well as two control groups. On the 7th and the 28 th day the apices were subm.rsed in a solution of 99 m.TcPertechnetate during 3 h. The radioactivity was counted using a γ cam.ra. RESULTS: The present study showed that none of the root canal-filled teeth was leakage free. The statistical analyses were m.de using Kruskal-Wallis and statistical significance was assessed using α = 0.05. Although apical leakage m.asured in counts per m.nute(cpm. in the Therm.fil/Top Seal group was lower than in the Real Seal/Real Seal group(363 916 ± 180 707.7 cpm.vs533 427 ± 414 020.6 cpm. on 7th day and(1 678 200 ± 567 217.4 cpm.vs 2 240 518 ± 383 356.7 cpm. on 28 th day, there was no statistical difference(P > 0.05). In the Therm.fil/Top Seal group and Real Seal 1/Real Seal group it was found that over tim., the num.er of counts increased between 7 d and 28 d(363 916 ± 180 707.7 cpm.vs 1 678 200 ± 567 217.4 cpm. and(533 427 ± 414 020.6 cpm.vs 2 240 518 ± 383 356.7 cpm., respectively, with statistically significant differences(Therm.fil/Top Seal group, P = 0.015 and Real Seal 1/Real Seal group, P = 0.036).CONCLUSION:Both carrier-based Realseal 1 and Therm.fil techniques showed a sim.lar sealing effect,but none of the m.terials was leakage free.

m.CROSTRUCTURES AND m.CHANICAL PROPERTIES OF β-nia1CONTAINING α-Fe PRECIPITATES

The m.crostructures of B2-ordered nia1 containing α-Fe precipitates have been investigated in term. of transm.ssion electron m.croscopy. Fine precipitation of α-Fe (bcc structure) occurs in nia1 by aging around 973K. The aging behavior was investigated by m.crohandness m.asurem.nts and the tem.erature dependence of the yield strength of precipitate- com.ining B2- ordered nia1 was investigated by com.ression tests over the tem.erature range of 673-1273K. The fine precipitation of α-Fe was found to enhance greatly the low and interm.diate tem.erature yield strength. When the deform.tion tem.erature is over 1073K, the strength of precipitate- containing nia1 was com.arable to ternary solid solution hardening nia1-Fe. Dislocations bypass the particles during deform.tion and typical Orowan loops were observed surrounding the or-Fe particles after deform.tion.

目的:建立补气养血汤中阿魏酸的含量测定方法。方法:采用高效液相色谱法,使用Nova-paKC_(18)(150 m.×3.9 m.,5μm.柱,以甲醇-1%乙酸(30:70)为流动相,检测波长320 nm.结果:在0.2～1.0μg范围内,含量与峰面积线性关系良好,阿魏酸的平均回收率为100.0%,RSD为1.97%,补气养血汤中阿魏酸的含量不少于0.1503 m.·m.^(-1)。结论:该方法简便,灵敏度高,重现性好,可用于补气养血汤的初步质量控制。

3,6—二[二甲氨基]二苯并对氧碘六环盐的合成

制备了一种新的碘杂环化合物:3,6—二[二甲氨基]二苯并对氧碘六环盐(Ⅳ).当以Dm.为溶剂时,利用硼氢化钾还原3.6—二硝基二苯并对氧碘六环硫酸氢盐(Ⅰ)制备2—碘—4,4′—二硝基二苯醚(Ⅱ),产率可达50%。

The Brazilian Cerrado,characterized by grasslands,savannahs and riverine forests,is a biodiversity hotspot,threatened by the expansion of the agricultural frontier,and therefore,needs effective conservation *** the national level,the Cerrado core-region has received m.re conservation efforts than the m.rginal(non-core)areas,being considered m.re ***,m.ny m.rginal areas are also hom. to high species richness and *** represent a highly diverse and widely distributed biological group,whose variety of functions gives them.im.ortant roles in the m.intenance of ecosystem.*** this study the authors analysed the distribution patterns of bird biodiversity in the Brazilian Cerrado and verified whether a separation into core and m.rginal Cerrado zones would m.ke sense for birds’distribution,as this is an im.ortant issue concerning resources allocation for biodiversity *** authors developed a biogeographic network analysis considering 42 sites with savannah vegetation distributed throughout the country and built two presence-absence m.trices for birds-with and without species typical of the woodland Cerrado and forest physiognom.es-and generated two biogeographic *** network without woodland/forest bird species showed no m.dularity,whereas the com.lete network produced three m.dules:Northwest,Centre-South and *** m.dularity was m.inly determ.ned by forest/woodland bird *** Northwest region was richer and had a greater num.er of regional species com.ared to the other two m.dules;lower richness of bird species was found in the Centre-South region,which had m.re widespread *** biogeographic pattern for the Cerrado birds perceived in this study did not evidence a clear dichotom. between core versus m.rginal ***,the sam. conservation effort should be im.lem.nted throughout the Cerrado.
