The pres.nt s.udy a.m.d to s.reen for hum.n im.unodeficiency virus.(HIV), hepa.itis.B virus.(HBV), a.d beha.iora. cha.a.teris.ics.a.0}ng hea.y truck drivers.in Port s.da.. a.cros.-s.ctiona. s.udy wa.2}conducted on 274 hea.y truck drivers.a.d their a.2}is.a.ts.who us.d the highwa. Port s.da.-Kha.toum.in Port s.da. city during 2019-2021. Da.a.on beha.iora. cha.a.teris.ics.a.d s.bs.a.ce us. ha.its.were collected us.ng a.s.ructured ques.ionna.re, a.d a. ELIs. tes. wa.2}us.d to s.reen for HIV a.d HBV infections.in the s.udy pa.ticipa.ts. The chi-s.ua.e tes., odds.ra.io, a.d confidence interva.s.were us.d to find the a.2}ocia.ion between beha.iora. cha.a.teris.ics.a.d s.ropos.tive HIV/HBV. Of the 274 enrolled pa.ticipa.ts. the s.ropreva.ence ra.es.of HIV were 2.7% a.d HBV wa.2}23.7%. Ninety-four (34.3%) of them.ha. a.his.ory of high-ris. s.xua. beha.ior outs.de of m.rria.e;only two (0.7%) us.d condom.;14.2% of pa.ticipa.ts.reported a.cohol us.;a.d 1.1% reported drug us.. Univa.ia.e a.a.ys.s.revea.ed tha. ha.ing a.s.x his.ory outs.de of m.rria.e with ≥1 s.x pa.tner a.d never us.ng a.condom.with a.s.ous. or ca.2}a. pa.tner were s.gnifica.t ris. fa.tors.for HIV a.d HBV a.0}ng drivers. Fortuna.ely, we found tha. m.s. of the drivers.reported low a.cohol a.d drug us..
