To overcom. the inaccuracy problem.of the traditional wedge evaluation of steel plates and strips caused by the ran-dom.ess of the thicknesses of two local points and im.rove the reliability of the wedge index,the double-centroid m.thod for the wedge evaluation was proposed,and a m.del based on the centroid theory was ***,an integral m.del for the discrete thickness values of the cross-section profiles was *** discussion focused on the distinct characteristics of the two-point m.thod,asym.etric m.thod,and double-centroid m.thod in evaluating the asym.etric distribution of *** three m.thods were em.loyed to evaluate the wedge values of both the theoretical and m.asured cross-sections of steel plates and strips,and the accuracies of three wedge evaluation m.dels were analyzed and *** results showed that the double-centroid m.thod objectively reflects the degree and variation characteristics of the wedge values of the cross-sections of steel plates and strips,and this m.thod is feasible,reliable,and outstanding.

Photoelectrochem.cal(PEC)energy conversion has em.rged as a prom.sing and efficient approach to sustainable energy harvesting and *** utilizing sem.conductor photoelectrodes,PEC devices can harness solar energy and drive electrochem.cal reactions such as water splitting or carbon dioxide(CO_(2))reduction to generate clean fuels and value-added ***,PEC energy conversion faces several challenges such as high overpotential,sluggish reaction kinetics,charge carrier recom.ination,and stability issues,which lim.t its practical ***,significant research has been conducted to im.rove the overall conversion efficiency of PEC *** particularly prom.sing approach is the use of cocatalysts,which involves introducing specific cocatalysts onto the photoelectrode surface to prom.te charge separation,im.rove reaction kinetics,and reduce the overpotential,thereby enhancing the overall perform.nce of PEC energy *** review provides a com.rehensive overview of the recent developm.nts in the earth-abundant cocatalysts for PEC water splitting and CO_(2) *** m.in earth-abundant catalysts for the PEC water splitting include transition-m.tal dichalcogenide(Tm.)-based m.terials,m.tal phosphides/carbides,and m.tal oxides/***,PEC-CO_(2)RR was divided into C_(1) and C_(2+)based on the final product since various products could be produced,focusing on diverse earth-abundant m.terials-based *** addition,we provide and highlight key advancem.nts achieved in the very recent reports on novel PEC system.design engineering with ***,the current problem. associated with PEC system. are discussed along with a suggested direction to overcom. these obstacles.

Phase change m.terials (PCm.) can be incorporated with low-cost m.nerals to synthesize com.osites for therm.l energy storage in building *** coal (SC) after vanadium.extraction treatm.nt shows potential for secondary utilization in com.osite *** prepared SC-based com.osite PCm. with SC as a m.trix,stearic acid (SA) as a PCm.and expanded graphite (EG) as an *** com.ined roasting and acid leaching treatm.nt of raw SC was conducted to understand the effect of vanadium.extraction on prom.ting loading *** showed that the com.ined treatm.nt of roasting at 900℃ and leaching increased the SC loading of the com.osite by 6.2%by im.roving the specific surface *** loading capacity and therm.l conductivity of the com.osite obviously increased by 127%and 48.19%,respectively,due to the contribution of 3wt% *** data were supported by the high load of 66.69%and therm.l conductivity of 0.59 W·m.(-1)·K-1of the designed *** obtained com.osite exhibited a phase change tem.erature of 52.17℃,m.lting latent heat of 121.5 J·g^(-1),and good chem.cal *** SC-based com.osite has prospects in building applications exploiting the secondary utilization of m.nerals.

In this paper, we study hypersurfaces of H2× H2. We first classify the hypersurfaces with constant principal curvatures and constant product angle functions. Then we classify hom.geneous hypersurfaces and isoparam.tric hypersurfaces, respectively. Finally, we classify the hypersurfaces with at m.st two distinct constant principal curvatures, as well as those with three distinct constant principal curvatures under som. additional conditions.

Nuclear isom.rs play essential roles in various fields,including stellar nucleosynthesis,nuclear clocks,nuclear batteries,clean nuclear energy,and-ray *** technological advances in high-intensity lasers have m.de it possible to excite or de-excite nuclear isom.rs using table-top laser *** a particle-in-cell code,we investigate the interaction of a laser with a nanowire array and calculate the production rates of the^(73m.Ge(E_(1)=13.3 keV)and^(107m.Ag(E_(1)=93.1 keV)***^(73m.)Ge,production by Coulom. excitation is found to contribute a peak efficiency of 1.0×10^(19) particles s^(−1)J^(−1),while nuclear excitation by electron capture(NEEC)contributes a peak of 1.65×10^(11)particles s^(−1)J^(−1).These results indicate a high isom.ric production ratio,as well as dem.nstrating the potential for confirm.ng the existence of NEEC,a long-expected but so far experim.ntally unobserved fundam.ntal process.
