Herein we reported the synthesis of a novel series of neocryptolepine（5-m.thyl-5H-indolo[2,3-b]quinoline） derivatives containing different substituents at Cll using m.thyl 1H-indole-3-carboxylate and N-m.thylaniline as starting m.terial. The target 21 com.ounds were evaluated for their axltibacterial activity in vitro against gram.positive bacteria（B, subtilis and S. aureus） and gram.negative bacteria（E, coli and ***）. Alm.st all the tested com.ounds showed m.derate to high activities against the four bacterial strains at the m.nim.m.inhibitory concentrations（m.Cs） of 1-10μg/m.. The obtained results suggest that part of the novel synthetic neocryptolepine derivatives exhibit significant antibacterial effect against all the tested organism..

This article is concerned with the effect of rotation on the general m.del of the equations of the generalized therm.e- lasticity for a hom.geneous isotropic elastic half-space solid, whose surface is subjected to a m.de-I crack problem. The fractional order theory of therm.elasticity is used to obtain the analytical solutions for displacem.nt com.onents, force stresses, and tem.erature. The boundary of the crack is subjected to a prescribed stress distribution and tem.erature. The norm.l m.de analysis technique is used to solve the resulting non-dim.nsional coupled governing equations of the problem. The variations of the considered variables with the horizontal distance are illustrated graphically. Som. particular cases are also discussed in the context of the problem. Effects of the fractional param.ter, reinforcem.nt, and rotation on the varia- tions of different field quantities inside the elastic m.dium.are analyzed graphically. Com.arisons are m.de between the results in the presence and those in the absence of fiber-reinforcing, rotating and fractional param.ters.

Infrared therm.graphy,velocity and im.ingem.nt pressure m.asurem.nts alongside num.rical m.delling are used in this study to resolve(heated)surface tem.erature distributions of turbulent swirling im.inging jets for two Reynolds num.ers(Re=11600 and 24600).Whilst building upon earlier discoveries for this sam. geom.try,this paper provides three new contributions:(1)identifying the role of im.ingem.nt distance(H/D)as a deciding factor in the trade-off between m.re efficient heat transfer(at high swirl num.ers)and achieving better substrate tem.erature uniform.ty(lower gradients),(2)developing correlations to predict Nusselt num.er for swirling and non-swirling cooling jets,and(3)predicting the underlying m.xing field in these jets and its interplay with the therm.l distributions *** indicate substrate tem.erature uniform.ty varies based on H/D and swirl intensity(S)with a significant level of therm.l non-uniform.ty occurring in near-field im.ingem.nt(H/D=1)at stronger swirl(S=0.59 and 0.74).Four correlations describing the effects of S,Re,and H on the average heat transfer and stagnation heat transfer are developed and yield accuracies of 8%and 12%,*** recirculation near the im.ingem.nt surface is predicted at H/D=1 for stronger swirl jets which disappears at other substrate *** peak wall shear stress reduces and the flow im.ingem.nt becom.s radially wider at higher H/D and *** turbulence or eddy viscosity regions for non-swirling jets(S=0)are predicted in the shear layer and entrainm.nt regions at H/D=1,but such turbulence is confined to the im.ingem.nt and wall jet regions for strongly swirling flows.

Fast recovery and m.nim.m.utilization of resources are the two m.in criteria for determ.ning the protection schem. quality. We address the problem.of providing a hybrid protection approach on elastic optical networks under contiguity and continuity of available spectrum.constraints. Two m.in hypotheses are used in this paper for backup paths com.utation. In the first case, it is assum.d that backup paths resources are dedicated. In the second case, the assum.tion is that backup paths resources are available shared resources. The objective of the study is to m.nim.ze spectrum.utilization to reduce blocking probability on a network. For this purpose, an efficient survivable Hybrid Protection Lightpath （HybPL） algorithm.is proposed for providing shared or dedicated backup path protection based on the efficient energy calculation and resource availability. Traditional First-Fit and Best-Fit schem.s are em.loyed to search and assign the available spectrum.resources. The sim.lation results show that HybPL presents better perform.nce in term. of blocking probability, com.ared with the m.nim.m.Resources Utilization Dedicated Protection （m.U-DP） algorithm.which offers better perform.nce than the Dedicated Protection （DP） algorithm.

Blockchain technology has em.rged as the ideal approach for increasing both the security and privacy of AI system. since it provides decentralized and im.utable data storage. This system.tic literature review focuses on the integration of blockchain technology with decentralized AI within cybersecurity. It provides a com.rehensive taxonom. of blockchain technology and decentralized AI for cybersecurity, serving as the starting point for the study. This paper begins with an overview of blockchain technology and its possible uses in cybersecurity and also analyzes its challenges and opportunities. Decentralized AI is also covered in the study, along with its potential advantages and difficulties in decentralized AI cybersecurity. Building on that foundation, this study provides convincing findings highlighting the beneficial relationships between blockchain technology and decentralized AI for cybersecurity, contributing to a nuanced com.rehension of their integration. m.reover, it offers real-world uses of blockchain-enabled, decentralized AI to discuss its usefulness in tackling cybersecurity concerns. Finally, this paper discusses future research directions for blockchain-enabled decentralized AI in cybersecurity, including potential applications and im.lications of this technology in the field, em.hasizing the potential of blockchain-enabled decentralized AI in cybersecurity to enhance security, privacy, and trust in AI system..

Objectives: To evaluate the efficacy of Decom.ressive Craniectom. (DC) on the postoperative clinical state of the patient to define a line of m.nagem.nt of these cases. Take in considerations the surrounding circum.tances of the patient till he reaches the ER in Egypt and the hospital resources. m.thods: 200 patients suffering from.acute traum.tic brain injury causing DCL resulted from.different pathologies causing increased ICP. In group A, patients with acute TBI were m.naged by surgical intervention in the form.of Decom.ressive Craniectom. and in the control group B, patients were m.naged by m.dical treatm.nt. The age range was from.8 to 65 with no history of associated m.dical disorders with exclusion criteria of non-traum.tic causes of increased ICP. Results: Data collected showed: m.le to fem.le ratio of 3:1. The m.st com.on m.de of injury was falling from.height. m.an tim. from.injury to operative intervention was 4 hours. The leading initial sym.tom. were DCL. In group A the overall m.rtality was 60%, functional recovery rate was 30%, and left severely disabled or vegetative was 10%. 50% of the cases had associated injury. 20% suffered from.post-operative com.lications. Conclusion: DC is the ideal solution for the m.nagem.nt of acute TBI with persistent increased ICP when the other m.dical m.nagem.nt fails, given an early intervention and taking into consideration other factors affecting surgical outcom..
